As the bullets neared him, Yato raised the temperature of his electrical barrier, frying the bullets as soon as they got too close. He then transmuted into lightning, teleporting to the left of Christina, raising his leg to kick her. Christina immediately grabbed her sledgehammer from her back, and with full strength, swung the weapon towards Yato.
However, Yato fizzled away, revealing that it was just an illusion, an electrical current shaped to look like his figure. The sledgehammer connected and broke a pillar of the dock from the momentum. Yato was nowhere to be seen.
"Someone repair this pillar," scoffed Christina, before looking at her wristwatch.
She pulled up a screen on her watch, labeling security cameras scattered across TOR headquarters. She had then turned on thermal sensors, allowing her to detect any significant sources of heat within the area. Yet, the chance to find Yato was quickly taken away as a black-out had occurred.
"The bastard went to turn off the lights of headquarters to give himself an advantage," thought Christina, holding her sledgehammer.
The backup generator turned on, with lights revealing the battery station across the wall near the loading dock. Christina then held up her sledgehammer, and pointed it towards the battery station. The hammer emitted a small amount of light before blasting a lightning bolt right at the machine, effectively turning the lights of the headquarters on, fueled solely by the electrical power that she had absorbed from Yato. She then swung.
Slam!
Yato was knocked to the ground, slammed brutally by the force of the sledgehammer. Electrical sparks flowed through his brain, signaling his systems to work faster to repair his injuries. His electrical barrier didn't seem to work as it would just get absorbed by her sledgehammer, increasing the chances of Critical. He had to turn it off manually.
"You're weaker than I had initially assumed," taunted Christina.
"Keep dreaming," smiled Yato.
The jet by the loading dock began to power up, electric pulses coming from Yato's fingers fueling its battery. It began to drive into the direction of Christina, the thrusters burning the walls that were near it.
Krachkkk!
Christina grunted in struggling pain as she held off against the propelling jet, doing her best to hold it still. She was slowly being pushed back, but was still holding her own against the jet, despite it getting faster and faster from the increased speed of the thrusters. Christina began to hold off the jet with one of her arms, grabbing the sledgehammer behind her back and slamming the jet's nose, effectively breaking apart the jet and turning its systems off.
This opening of the sledgehammer's momentum let Yato teleport right behind her, elbowing her hip, then slamming her head, and kicking her back down to the ground. However, as he landed, she grabbed his leg, exploiting the fact that he had manually turned off his electrical barrier because of the sledgehammer, and slammed him into the ground, critically injuring him, a crater appearing on the ground. Her relentless offense didn't just stop there as she began punching Yato on the ground repeatedly, every two or three hits being a critical.
Yato had enough and turned his electrical barrier on again, blasting Christina away, causing her to stumble next to her sledgehammer. Bruised and beaten up, she grabbed it and began to run towards the distressed Yato, whose green electricity started turning pinkish. Aiming to steal her Rad-A, Yato infused his electrical barrier with pink electricity this time, known as the Tamashii. Christina raised her sledgehammer to slam down on Yato, as he stood there defiantly. He just needed to take one hit in order to critically injure her for the rest of the match.
"H-hey, hold it!" yelled a man in a business suit, with combed orange hair, waving around pepper spray, "Stop fighting already! You've done enough! This loading dock is gonna get destroyed!"
Christina scoffed as she looked at the man, "Fair enough. Welcome to the team, Jukkonarius Yato."
"This was just a welcome?" thought Yato in disdain, his Rad-A turning off.
"That sure was a warm welcome...." mumbled Rose in concern.
"Don't worry about it," said the man, "That 'welcome' was only for Jukkonarius Yato. To test his strength I guess..... not just because it was personal request or anything like that...."
Rose stared at the man with a blank face.
"Nice to meet you all," the man chuckled half-heartedly, "My name is Zora Diac. Field agent. It's nice to meet you two, and thank you for coming!"
"You're a field agent?" asked Rose in amazement as Yato didn't bother to look engaged, "What Rad-A do you have?"
"None!" smiled Zora, "I guess that's what I like about TOR. Even with their respective power, they can accept nobodies like me!"
"I don't care about nobodies," glared Yato, "Can we just get to the point? This experience has been bugging me already."
"I'm sorry for him," whispered Rose, "He just doesn't like it when the fight ends abruptly.."
Zora clasped his hands together, "I fully understand. Alright, Yato! I need you to meet your team for your TOR missions!"
