Extraction Point

Yato rolled on the ground, his muscles stressed from the pressure of the Division. He was running out of energy quick, and he had no time left for any bluffs for sneak attacks. Not to mention, any damage he could even try on Adachi would've had no effect. However, as he fought, he had slowly come to the realization that it was pointless to continue fighting any longer. Reo was already outside near the domain. He just needed to create an opening.

"I've actually just been disappointed lately, Yato," commented Adachi, rolling his eyes, "Ever since I've found out your bluff and your energy has depleted, this battle hasn't really been as exciting. You're just on the defensive! Rolling, blocking, doing your best to evade my attacks... do you understand how boring this is from my side?"

"You seem to be having a better time than I am," panted Yato.

"Clearly. I might as well just finish this."

Suddenly, Adachi had dashed right up to Yato using Crab Walk. The sword was right up to his neck!

CLANG!

He couldn't finish the job. A weapon had shot right at him. Adachi hopped back, creating distance from Yato.

"What was that?" he asked.

"What was what?" replied Yato.

"A weapon... a sword just struck at me! What was that? Is that some kind of ability you have?"

As Adachi expressed his concern, Yato noticed a small portal opening up from behind him! Adachi quickly turned around and parried the cleaver that would shoot at him! Soon, more portals began opening up, with weapons coming out of them! Some of these weapons weren't even familiar to Yato. They seemed to be from different universes!

"I see..." mumbled Adachi as he busily parried the constant attacks, "This line of attack... its all too similar to Ikarus Antoine's ability! He can't make his way here because of the domain, but he can very well at least use his omnipotence to sense where I am and attack me through it!"

As Adachi fought, Yato took the time to recover his energy, staying low on the ground. As he did, a voice had spoke to him telepathically.

"Hello... hello, hello?" said the voice.

"Who is this?" thought Yato, filled with confusion.

"My name's Ikarus Antoine... it's nice to meet you, Jukkonarius Yato!"

"I don't give a damn who you are. Why are you talking to me?"

"Well... I'm here to give you a little help. I've been spectating the battle for a while now... and I've noticed that you've been subconsciously using your 'Trigger' to prevent Division's destruction from happening."

"How'd you find out that one, genius?"

"Sorry... but I've got an idea. It's a small gamble, and it could lead to the destruction of the dimensions. Is there a way for you to focus your negation on everything, even Ryder's movement?"

"I'd be vulnerable to Division... and I'd probably die right after. If I'm dead, then there's no doubt he'd be able to destroy everything."

"Then please... we need this gamble. Reo Uihara, who has the Fatal Seal, is outside. Surely, you'd understand the opening you can provide for her by doing this..."

"If this fails... then the destruction of my universe is on you."

"Don't worry. I have a friend in your universe. There's no way I'm just letting it get destroyed!"

Yato slowly stood up, still under pressure from the negation of Division. As Adachi continued to parry the constant barrage of weapons shooting at him from the portals, he couldn't bear witness to what Yato was attempting to do. Yato had focused on his senses, concentrating on using his Trigger to stop and prevent the effects of the Division until...

Everything had stopped momentarily for a single second. This was the limit that Yato could use his Trigger to do, but it was enough to effectively stop Division to its fullest. Adachi couldn't move and neither did the weapons from the portals. Everything had stopped. However, in that one second, Yato had developed wounds and slices from being vulnerable to the Division. Blood began to shoot out of the multiple cuts that began appearing throughout his body. He had lost gallons of blood just from this single second.

"The cue!" yelled Derek erratically.

Reo, who was on standby, had already shot the Fatal Seal into the domain. As the seal passed through the domains layer, it shot directly at Adachi, tugging and pulling to wrap around him as he could only watch.

"I have to do it," thought Ryder, "Division... Shift Fo—"

However, as he noticed Yato giving it his all, taking the wounds from Division just to protect his universe... he knew he couldn't just do it. It wasn't the time for it, and he knew he had another chance to do so. Maybe... in another multiverse. But for now, he knew that he had lost this battle, and gave himself up to being fully sealed by Reo.

Finally, the domain had broke.
