"Zoraaaaa," yawned Rachael, leaning by the wall of the building, "Why is it just us..?"
"Christina said that unlike the Hit-Team operation, this one needed to be more discrete," answered Zora, checking his watch every now and then, "She had figured that only us two were needed for the job. After all, you are an S-Class, and I have a good layout for the Deep Web's hideout, thanks to Camie's information."
"I don't understand," shrugged Rachael, "Why didn't you guys just ask me about the hideout?"
"Because the moment you were caught, they had already switched hideouts. They're extra sneaky about this stuff, so it's fortunate that Camie's sudden betrayal hadn't gotten leaked to them yet."
"But wasn't Myuto there to kill Camie before she could spread anymore information?"
"Yes... but traveling to a different base won't be fast enough. They have no choice but to remain still. They'll be on a big lookout though, so Michael gave us these root masks."
"Root masks?" asked Rachael in curiosity.
"Michael created them after the Hit-Team operation. For an odd reason, they change up the face of the person wearing it. We could use it to bypass the first bodyguard for this building."
"This building... the Deep Web is here?"
"Right," replied Zora, putting on his root mask, "We just need to go through the elevator."
"Also.." mumbled Rachael, putting her own root mask on, "What happens if we encounter someone stronger than us? Like.. Moth Man?"
"That's where Christina's second plan had laid out," replied Zora, "If someone strong like Moth Man were to appear, we both have radios to call Yato, who is just waiting by. He'll be here to rescue us no doubt."
Yato was actually by the TOR headquarters, lazily sleeping his training days off. Zora and Rachael had disguised themselves as different people, and proceeded to enter the hotel. It seemed normal, but Camie was right about her leaks. The bodyguard was over there by the elevator, standing guard. They were sure that the bodyguard would allow any guest throughout any floor, but only Deep Web members would be allowed underground, where only the bodyguard knows the combination to do so.
"Hey, we're looking to go to the Deep Web!" announced Rachael to the bodyguard, waving her hands around.
The bodyguard raised an eyebrow. Zora hurriedly went over in panic, covering Rachael with his body.
"S-sorry about that!" exclaimed Zora immediately, "My sister is a little nuts! We're just looking to go through the establishment! The... underground... that is."
"The underground, huh?" asked the guard, skeptical about the two civilians that had come up to him.
He was a large man, with bulging muscles hidden by his suit. He had a balding head, but sported a rather mean glare that was only welcoming to the most wealthy of guests.
"Your passes?" asked the bodyguard.
Passes? Huh? Zora began to panic. What pass?
"P-pass?" asked Zora in confusion, "What do you mean by a pass?"
"All of those who wish to travel towards the underground require a pass," explained the bodyguard with a glare, "A special token. If you wish to proceed, you'll have to reveal a pass. Or get punished."
Zora fumbled his hands a little, reaching into his pockets to try and show that he possibly could've had a pass. This wasn't mentioned by Camie at all. They didn't think they needed to provide any identification when entering the place. Did they have to resort to violence?
"Pass?" asked Rachael abruptly, "Since when did we need a pass?"
"Since the legislature signed four months ago," answered the bodyguard.
"The legislature didn't state that at all," answered back Rachael, crossing her arms as she repeatedly tapped her foot, "Who do you take us for? We didn't need passes at all when coming to the Deep Web. We just told you we wanted in and we'd walk by free! Do we need to report you to someone?"
Finally, the bodyguard broke character, "N-not at all, ma'am... I'm sorry for the arrogance. We're on a security lockdown at the moment and we're trying to sniff out any false visitors. Please forgive me."
The bodyguard beckoned the two to follow him into the elevator, where he pressed multiple buttons to lead the two down to the Deep Web. Zora was in awe of Rachael's knowledge. He had realized that Rachael wasn't just there to provide strength with her Rad-A. Even though Zora knew the lay-out of the new Deep Web base, Rachael had all the lingo and culture of the Deep Web's underground all figured out. It was the perfect infiltration team.
As the elevator opened, the bodyguard welcomed them, "I present to you the Deep Web."
The underground cavern was filled with multiple buildings made of stone, and black markets from corner to corner. This was the heart of the Deep Web, and Rachael and Zora needed to take it down.
