Moth-Man grabbed Myuto's foot and used his body weight to slam him on the ground. He plunged the knife out of his arm and ripped out the tendons to Myuto's leg, preventing him from moving as he yelled in pain.
"You've caused me quite a lot of trouble, Myuto," glared Moth-Man as he limped silently towards Myuto's shaking body, "But I... out of my sheer determination... will complete my goals!"
SHHK!!
A stab to the heart with his own knife.
"The human body is fragile, Myuto," stated Moth-Man, "No matter how much of an advantage you may be, you can still lose if one of your vital organs are critically injured."
Moth-Man looked at the Radiation Enhancer, limping towards it slowly, being careful not to drip out anymore blood from his body.
...
ZTTTTKRAKKKKK!
"What is it now?" yelled Moth-Man, looking back as he noticed the large hole in the building wall.
It was Yato, who had his wounds healed up by accelerating his regeneration. He glared at Moth-Man, noticing his injured state and Myuto's corpse lying on the floor.
"Did you do this?" asked Yato.
"Did you do this?" mocked Moth-Man, "Of course I did it, dumbass. He betrayed me so I killed him."
ZZZZZT!
Moth-Man instantly crab-walked to dodge, blood bursting from his back. He then collapsed to the ground on the verge of dying. Yato had extended his attack, breaking the Radiation Enhancer to pieces.
"I'm gonna need to use your Rad-A abilities to heal me," smiled Moth-Man, pulling out his gun and firing the blank.
...
Nothing had happened. Moth-Man kept pulling the trigger, but no shots were being fired.
Click, click! Click, click!
"My gun...?" thought Moth-Man.
"So.. it truly has awakened," mentioned Yato, the electricity fizzling around him, "My true Rad-A: Trigger."
"Trigger!?"
"I control the cause and the effect. I can prevent your gun from shooting blanks, and I can even prevent any sound from being heard," explained Yato, as if he was telepathically communicating with Moth-Man to prevent any sound from existing in the room, "It'd take great energy to change the effect of a cause, but I don't need to when I can just prevent the cause from occurring altogether. It ends here, Moth-Man."
Moth-Man shook his head, his cracked helmet leaking with blood. He threw his head back in laughter, but no sound was heard since Yato had used trigger to prevent it. There was no way for Moth-Man to activate his Rad-A, and no way for Moth-Man to create a single sound.
"So you really have extended the limits of your abilities, Jukkonarius Yato!" telepathically communicated Moth-Man, "This is the peak of your power! A Rad-A no one can prevent or stop!"
"I never had any limits," explained Yato, walking up towards Moth-Man in silence, "Don't resist your arrest now. I can even stop you from being able to think."
"But before you arrest me, Yato... I need to show you something. Don't you at least want to know of my motives? Why I'm doing all of this?"
"Why would I want to know?"
"You've seen the unjust and unfair circumstances of this world. Surely, you have some sort of opinion opposing the injustice."
"..."
Moth-Man held his hand up, and removed his mask, shattering upon being picked up. Yato's eyes widened as he couldn't believe it. The voice he had heard really was familiar. His face was all too similar of...
Ryder Kodachi.
The red hair. The cut on his eye. Even the facial characteristics and small subconscious gestures that he would make. This was Ryder Kodachi in the flesh!
"Are you so surprised?" asked Ryder.
"You're supposed... you're supposed to be dead!" Yato exclaimed.
"You're correct that the Ryder Kodachi of this dimension is dead," he explained, "But I am not of this dimension. I come from a different one due to a Law Shift, bearing the name of Ryder Adachi."
"A Law Shift?"
"To be brief, it's simply a change or alter in the universe to balance things out. Within the event of a Law Shift, anything could happen, even forcing someone like me from another dimension into yours."
Yato couldn't believe what he was seeing. What would everyone who knew Ryder think? What would Rose think? What would Chika think...?
"Hear me out, Yato..." calmly stated Adachi, "We're not so different, you and I. I did want to measure your power so I can overcome it... but I too, used to want to protect someone dear to me..."
