A walk with Sam

When you got to the dining room Vision came over and held out his arms expectantly.
"May I?" he asked gently, and you nodded as you passed him Pup who whined at the loss of warmth for a second.
"Thank you Vision" you smiled and sat between Clint and Pietro. You looked up and saw Bucky was seated across from you, but was glaring at Sam who sat on the other side of Steve.
"Y/N, you need to make more cookies or pies. We have a test tomorrow, and if we ace it we want our dessert again" Pietro grinned at you.
"I'll have to find some time to bake, I know you both will ace it. But I want to see the tests" you ruffled his hair, and he quickly fixed it.
"We miss you on our night missions" Peter gave a small pout.
"I can sneak out for one or two" you looked over at him.
"No, absolutely not until Shawn is found" Tony shook his head.
"I can't stop living my life, Tony" you sighed. "I wanted to go shopping to decorate my room with Wanda and Nat"
"No, not until he's caught" Wanda glared at you, and you gave a pleading look.
"Why not? Its not like we can't take him if he shows up" Nat shrugged. "We can hide some of our gear and bring it with us. Besides, who doesn't want to go shopping"
"We could go as a team" Steve offered.
"That's just screaming for paparazzi" you flinched. "I'm not announced yet, I'll be that girl they start making stories about"
"You'll be announced soon enough, but no. No shopping for now" Tony shook his head.
"Tony, please, I'm not a child" you pleaded with him.
"Your my protégé, which to me is the same thing. Clint help me out here" Tony looked to Clint.
"It's bad enough there's dirty cops hanging around, lets just wait for him to make a move. Once he does, we will get him as a team. Then you can go shopping to your hearts content" Clint shook his head at you.
"What if I need tampons?" you asked flat out and saw several of the guys faces go red. "Or Midol"
"Borrow someone else's" Tony's face was red.
"What about my medications? I need some of them filled soon" you glared a little.
"I'll fill them and have them delivered. Give me the list when we are in the lab" he shrugged. You sat back and crossed your arms seeing you weren't winning this argument. Bucky gave you a small smile, but looked away after a moment.
"Can't you order a lot of stuff you want online anyways?" Pepper looked over. "That's how I get most of my shopping done, unless it's a girls day"
"We have girls day's here?" you asked excitedly.
"Of course, we always go hit the mall" Nat grinned. "Its always a blast"
"No girls day until this mess is over" Clint spoke up and your face fell a little bit.
"Stop trying Pup" Cloud came over and glared at you. "You're obviously up to something"
"I just want to get out" you sighed to him.
"No, you want to catch him on your own. I'm not stupid" he growled a little.
"He doesn't want me dead, he needs me alive" you argued back.
"It doesn't mean he wont kill one of the other pack members to get to you, keep that in mind" he growled again.
"I'd kill him first" you vowed.
"Y/N" Peter's voice broke through your conversation with Cloud and you looked at him confused for a moment.
"Huh?" you asked.
"Talking to Cloud again?" he smirked.
"Yes" you admitted easily. "Whats wrong kiddo?"
"Can you make the apple and peach pie again?" he gave a smile.
"That I can do, for your tests of course" you smiled at him and started eating your breakfast which was getting cold quickly.
"Were you two arguing?" Bucky asked gently.
"Yes, he wants me to stay inside too" you flushed a bit.
"I agree with him, for what its worth" he gave a small smile and went back to his food. You stared at him for a moment, then remembered yourself and looked away. Clint chuckled from beside you.
"Who's sweater are you wearing?" Clint finally asked since the table was pretty quiet and you were almost done eating.
"Oh, its Sam's. We were out on our walk, and I got a bit of a chill" you gave a small smile. "It was incredibly thoughtful. Thank you again Sam" you gave him a warm smile.
"Anytime beautiful" he winked, and got another glare from Bucky. You heard Sam start to chuckle a bit to himself, but got up to put his plate away. You heard Pup give a whine and a few little barks and looked over.
"My turn" Pepper held out her hands to Vision who handed him over easily and she headed into the kitchen. Melody came over to Happy, and put her muzzle on his lap and whined slightly.
"I guess I'm pack too" he grinned while Cloud went between the boys. Pietro didn't miss a beat and raced to the kitchen and back within moments handing Happy a wet paper towel, then started slowly cleaning Cloud's face.

When you got to the lab you saw Tony waiting expectantly with his hands open for your medications that you ran to your room to get.
"What are these for?" he asked.
"Birth control, PTSD, nightmares, sleep, anxiety, headaches... I've been on most of it for years" you admitted.
"You're on the family plan now, it'll be delivered monthly going forward. I'll get these all refilled for tomorrow" he saw you were indeed almost out. "Now I want you working on offensive" he pointed to the room and started putting monitors on you again. Pepper came in and handed him Pup. You knew Cloud and Melody were already in the gym working out.
When you got in the training room you decided to use all the anger you had about the predicament you are currently in to use as a basis for your flames and the room started to roar with an inferno.
"Whoa, push it back" Tony called and you saw the walls had indeed caught on fire again. You called back your flames, but the walls were still damaged pretty badly.
"Sorry, I guess I used too much power" you blushed a bit.
"How did you do that" he came into the room in amazement looking around at the melting flameproof tiles he had put in.
"I just used my anger instead" you shrugged.
"You have some rage issues" he marvelled at it. "I guess we are good for today. I need to have someone come in and replace the walls with something better. I'll start working on that with Friday. Your measurements were incredible" he touched your hand, but it was still the same normal temperature, and your clothes were unsinged. "You have time to go do your baking" he decided.
"That's it?" you were surprised.
"I need to redo my entire training room, yes, that's it" he nodded. "I didn't know you had that much in you" he sighed.
"That was incredible" Bruce said as you walked out. "Can we measure that again?" he asked excitedly.
"After I replace my training room" Tony nodded. "We have work to do" he pointed to Bruce, but still held Pup close to him. You shrugged and walked out and went straight to the kitchen, taking out your phone and putting on your sad love songs again and turning it up as you went to grab the ingredients to start working on your pies. Your thoughts kept going back to your conversation with Sam this morning, and him already clueing in that you liked someone. You really hoped that Bucky hadn't noticed, you didn't want to ruin the friendship you started over a very strong, and very real crush.
