Enemies to lovers (Bucky x reader)

Bucky walked you back to your room holding your hand. When you got to the door he pulled your hand up to his lips and kissed your knuckles again, maintaining eye contact with you.
"Maybe Sunday we can go out for breakfast, just the two of us. Maybe a walk after?" he gave his flirty smile.
"I'd love to" you beamed. "Is this another date?" you asked curiously.
"Definitely" he nodded, and his smile lit up his face.
"I'm looking forward to it" you smiled shyly, and he touched your cheek, and leaned in to give you a quick kiss on the lips before he backed up with a smile.
"I'll see you in a bit" he winked and went to his room. You went in and dropped off your purse and jacket then headed to the living room where your mom was waiting expectantly holding Pup. You went over and took a spot on the couch and Cloud jumped up beside you along with Melody.
"I would ask how it went, but the smile on your face tells me it went very well" your mom grinned.
"Very, very well" you blushed, thinking of the stolen kisses. "I took lots of pictures" you offered her your phone, and she handed you Pup. You cuddled Pup close and he nuzzled in closely. She went through all your pictures and chuckled at some of them.
"You went for a walk as well, I see" she looked at you knowingly. "You've always loved your walks"
"He chose well" you cooed, and kissed Pup on top of the head.
"Is there a second date?" Melody asked excitedly.
"Yes" you blushed, speaking out loud.
"Date is a mating custom's for humans" Cloud explained to Jasper.
"I figured that much out" he sniffed, and got up on the other couch. "I do like how these humans live" he decided.
"Everything is soft" Snow agreed. "I'm glad the date went well"
"Lets go for a walk" your mom handed you back your phone. You smiled and stood up and walked with her out the balcony and down the steps. She waited until you were at the bottom of the stairs and looked at you with a smile. "I approve of him. He seems to be a good man"
"You just want grand babies" you giggled as you both started walking towards the track where Steve was running.
"Not while you are doing this dangerous job. Once you're done" she smiled at you. "I'm not in a hurry anymore. I can see you both move slowly. But not too slowly" she looked at you. You saw the pack all started running past you and headed towards the woods and just pranced around.
"Those butterflies haven't gone away all day" you admitted softly.
"That will never change" she nodded her head knowingly. "I've spent the rest of my life looking for those butterflies, but I was so busy when the time came, life just passed me by" she looked a little sad. "I regret nothing" she added looking to you. "Love is special and hard to find. Once you know its love, hold onto it and don't let it go"
"Its too early to say if its love" you blushed.
"You'll know when your ready" she grinned. "Clint is taking me home after supper, there's still plenty of pies left, so he's bringing a few to his family. We were talking earlier"
"That's good, his family loves the pies" you beamed.
"Sam let me take another look at redwings' footage again" she looked at you for a moment. "You do well at this job. I almost would feel safer if you were back at Shield, but I see that you were made to do this"
"At least you didn't say secretary again" you giggled.
"When you were younger maybe, but now I can't see it anymore" she smiled.
"Are you all packed?" you looked at her curiously.
"Yes, Billy is taking a nap on the bed. He really likes it here. We will have to come visit you too" she chuckled. "He seems more relaxed here"
"Because you're around the people best equipped to protect the planet. I hope I get to be as good as the rest of the team someday" you sighed.
"I think you are, in your own way" she touched your cheek. "Now come on, lets go back in, its almost supper time and I need to go grab my bags"
"I'll run up and get your bags" you offered. "I'll follow Billy" you smiled as you both turned around and walked back. The pack started following quickly.

"Your makeup still held up great" Nat commented as you got to the supper table. You flushed a little bit and went around to sit between your mom and Clint.
"I haven't taken the time to take it off yet" you admitted. Your mom handed you back Pup and he nuzzled into you. You heard a whisper in your heart of a small voice saying "mama" and your back straightened up and your mom looked at you shocked. The voice came again, and it came stronger as Pup started to wiggle.
"Pup?" you asked out loud as other people started coming to sit at the table.
"Mama" you heard again and you brought him closer to your face and kissed him on the nose.
"What's going on?" Steve asked as tears were coming down your face.
"He's talking" your mom smiled. "His first words were mama"
"He's in my heart" you smiled broadly.
"I told you he would choose you as a companion" Cloud came around the corner. Pup suddenly let out a small howl and tears continued to fall down his face. The rest of the pack let out a response howl, and Pup howled again, and they howled back.
"I think he's hungry" you stood up with tears still falling down your face. You grabbed the bottles and came back to sit down, and put a large napkin on top of your blouse, promising yourself to do laundry tomorrow.
"What's his name?" Bucky smiled at you.
"Blue" you smiled at him.
"It perfect" he grinned at you. "Why Blue?"
"That howl, and those words came out of the blue" you giggled, trying to wipe your tears. Pup took quickly to the bottle, and went quiet for a moment.
"Its perfect" he leaned forward on the table a bit.
"Now you messed up your makeup" Nat announced.
"Worth it" you giggled and you heard Pup say Mama again.
"That must be amazing, you were so worried about him" Wanda smiled serenely at you.
"I really was" you nodded. "I thought we got to him too late, and he was hurt over it"
"So its going to be Blue now, not pup" Pepper looked over with a smile.
"Blue" you nodded, and switched to the second bottle while Clint filled your plate for you.
"I'm so glad I was here to witness this" your mom sighed.
"The first howl is so important, it debuts them to the pack officially" Snow came around the corner and your mom repeated it for everyone.
"He was already pack" Steve grinned.
"You'll have to keep repeating your names when you hold him so he knows the difference now" you smiled softly.
"What's he going to call Bucky? Daddy?" Scott gave a grin and your face went red at the same time as Bucky's.
"I'm good with Bucky" Bucky's face was a deep red. "He can call me whatever he wants". You continued to coo to Blue, your little pup, and felt so full of love. He finished the second bottle, and you went for the third and he said "mama" again. You put the bottle in his mouth, and he started sucking it down easily.
"Good boy Blue" you sighed.
"I'm so glad I was here for that" your mom smiled at you and held your hand tightly. You felt Blue wriggling happily while you fed him. Everyone else ate while Blue ate his supper. You were surprised at how quickly he was getting his milk down. He finished and whined and curled up on your neck. You started eating your supper. After Clint was done, he took Blue from you so you could finish. You rubbed at your shoulders feeling a knot in them. You were anxious about making a mess of your makeup from your happy crying. You were anxious about your mom leaving, and now, even more importantly, how much longer until the other pups started talking and howling. At least you had a better idea that they would talk once they started howling.
"I'm going to go run him outside really quick for you" Clint offered. "Blue needs time with Uncle Clint" he got up and headed out the balcony from the living room. As soon as you finished, you went and put your plate away and grabbed wet paper towels as the pack came over to have their faces washed. You were surprised that they had waited on you tonight, instead of going to someone else.
"We want to go for a pack run tonight" Melody announced.
"Are you sure? You just went the other day" you frowned a bit, speaking out loud.
"Blue finally is announced to the pack, we have reasons to celebrate" Cloud joined in.
"Okay, sure" you nodded. "Try not to get too muddy though, the blankets are pink now" you smiled at them.
"What's going on?" Sam asked after a moment.
"They are going for a pack run to celebrate Blue" you gave a small smile. "I just need to go change real quick and take this makeup off"
"Yeah miss perfect, you finally showed a flaw" Scott teased. "I'm headed out now, I'll see you Sunday night" he got up and followed you towards the front door. You waved to him as you went into your bedroom and headed to the closet. You grabbed a pair of black leggings and a baggy graphic t-shirt before heading to the bathroom to take off your makeup and put your hair up in a messy bun. You hated to ruin the girls work, but you had mascara all over your face. Blue had really taken you off guard and shown you two miracles today. You didn't bother with shoes, but walked back out and saw Clint was standing with your mom near the back door that went to the tarmac where the jets were.
"I love you, call me on Sunday" your mom gave you a hug and a kiss.
"Sunday afternoon or night. I have a date Sunday morning" you blushed a bit. You leaned down and pressed your forehead against Billy's. "Take care of her" you said internally.
"Take care of yourself pup" he responded quickly and licked your cheek.
"I'll see you Sunday night" Clint handed you Blue with a grin, and picked up two boxes of pies.
"Let me know when you get home, both of you" you waved as they left. You felt a little lost for the moment. Blue curled up in your neck and wiggled a bit. You had forgotten your book and your phone, so you went back to your bedroom to get them, then went back to the living room. Melody was waiting by the door, and you gave a small smile and opened it for the pack to run. The four of them let out loud howls, and Blue responded quickly before they bounded down the steps and into the night.

"So that's how it is now?" Sam came in after you were settled with Blue, reading from your book and listening to love songs again.
"What do you mean?" you looked at him curiously.
"You don't even tell people where you are headed, you just go do your own thing. What if I wanted time with you and Blue?" he sassed you, and you finally caught onto the teasing and gave a small giggle.
"I don't go very far Sam, grab a seat" you gestured around the room. You had your feet up again with your phone on the table beside you. You went to go back to your book when he sat down and loudly sighed. "Okay, what is it?" you smiled at him.
"How did your date go?" he gave a smirk.
"Very well, we are going out again on Sunday" you grinned.
"Alright, so he has some moves" he grinned. "Him slamming the door in my face tells me he was practicing some on you". You didn't respond, but only blushed. "So my little man Blue says Mama now" he grinned.
"He does, I can't believe I cried over that" you admitted softly.
"It must have been pretty special, especially that cute little howl" he grinned and looked over his shoulder. "I'm not the only one that was wondering where you went by the way"
"Shut up bird brain" Bucky came in and grinned at you. "I thought you'd be in your room" he admitted and came around to lift your legs and sit under your knees so he was really close to you.
"I'm a creature of habit, besides, the pack wanted to go for their run to celebrate. The bedroom feels a little lonely when they aren't there" you admitted. You heard a chair move and Steve sat down with his drawing kit.
"How are you doing now that your mom's gone?" he asked gently.
"I have a video call with her on Sunday, I'm pretty sure I'll be okay. Its good everything is in the open and she approves now. I'm happy" you shrugged.
"That and your ex is now in jail for good" Sam added for you.
"Thank you, valid point. I don't know why I have a kink in my shoulders" you grumbled. Bucky reached over with one hand and started working it out easily.
"Its always the same spot" he grinned and you gave a small moan of appreciation.
"Thank you" you smiled at him once it was out.
"My pleasure doll" he took your hand and kissed the knuckles again. Blue let out a small howl in his sleep and you kissed him on top of his head.
"Four more weeks, and he starts on raw meat" Steve reminded you.
"He's starting to get these tiny teeth, I'm worried about the bottles" you admitted. "Like the plastic nipples, he might break them"
"We will just have to go buy more of them" Bucky shrugged, taking his book out of his back pocket.
"Can I feed him when he gets hungry?" Sam asked, looking up from his phone.
"Sure, you're always good with Blue" you smiled at him.
"He's going to be my partner in crime when he gets older. We are going to swindle more pies out of you" he teased.
"There's so much pie still uneaten here" you giggled.
"Give us an hour and it would be gone if we really wanted to" Bucky grinned at you. "I already ate all the rest of the plum, and the one in my bedroom"
"I need to work on that recipe" you frowned a bit. "I can make it better"
"You don't need to do a thing to it, its perfect, just like you" Bucky winked at you, and you blushed again.
