Enemies to lovers (Bucky x reader)

For the next week you would spend your mornings training with Tony, now that the tiles were on the ceiling and the floor as well, and you seemed to flourish in being able to use your fire to its full strength. The defensive protocols that Tony put into the room that were supposed to be attacking you, had no hope in even coming close to touching you. You got a periodic text from Bucky, sometimes it was just a picture of where he was. He sent you a photo of the Eiffel tower, and a few selfies. Every night before you were headed to bed, he made a point of sending a text that simply said "I love you" and you would beam at seeing those three little words. You always said it back. You sent a few photos of the pack, or of Blue. You did end up having to watch Zora for a night while Vision was on a longer mission. When you had woken up the next morning, both Zora and Blue were already gone along with all the bottles and you knew that Vision had come to get them from your room.
Clint had stepped up your weapons training, and seemed impressed with your progress with knives and guns. He tried a few different guns for you to try, and you were good at getting the target. He took the time to help you correct your stance, which improved your aim greatly. He told you that you just needed to get more comfortable so you would be quicker at the draw. He went through gun safety with you, as well as how to unassemble and reassemble several kinds of guns. He went so far as to start timing you to make sure that you were going faster. He would praise you often on your improvements, and at the end of the day remind you how proud he was of you. You loved the positive feedback.
Sunny came to visit you quite a few times, wanting to talk more. He always brought you back to your room so you would be more comfortable. He let you bring Blue with you, since the rest of the pack was in training, and Snow was busy with the pups. It helped ground you, to have him to hold while you spoke about the missions that bothered you the most, and of course the kidnapping again. He seemed to think you were making progress, regardless of the fact that you had woken up whoever was in the compound a few times during the week with your screams. Sunny prescribed a nightmare medication that Tony promptly had filled for you. He said it would take a little while to take effect, but it was important not to miss any doses. You acknowledged that you understood, and made sure to take it every night at the same time you took your other pills.
The evenings were spent in the living room still, where Scott, Pietro, Peter and Bruce would come and join you along with the pack. You played your music until Bruce started mentioning a few documentaries you might like to see, and Scott promptly put them on. They seemed worried about you, but you couldn't help that you had spent the entire week worried about Bucky and his safety. Scott wanted to help with feeding Blue, and seemed to be taking lots of pictures again all during the week. Blue was also getting bigger, and even more independent. He started walking around more and away from you more often. He would try to play with Anastasia who also seemed to be getting more independent as well. Blue asked for his Papa often, and you had to keep reminding him that he was on a mission. He asked for Steve, but your answer was the same. He did end up saying Sam's name, as well as Scott, Bruce, Tony, Pepper, and Happy. You were proud of him for learning so many names in a short period of time. He seemed to be a quick learner.
When you took him outside, he started trying to run around and would tease the pack. He also knew all their names by now as well. He wanted to run further, and sometimes he would just run between your legs trying to trip you so you would be on the ground with him. A few times you laid down in the grass and he would playfully bark and jump up on your chest and lick your face. During the week he also took to learning to drink from the water dish that was kept in the lab for Snow. Edwin and Anastasia were quick to follow suit. The toys were getting destroyed quickly, but you were glad it wasn't the furniture. Not having the time to go out to the store, you ordered more toys online to be delivered to the compound.

When Friday morning came, you had barely slept the night before and Tony looked at you worriedly. You had been screaming most of the night, and even woke up Sunny who was apparently a deep sleeper.
"Why don't you go pack for your weekend away, instead of working on your abilities this morning" Tony gave you a reassuring smile.
"I couldn't possibly" you shook your head.
"Well, you need some rest. Take some time this morning" Tony shrugged.
"Make that for the afternoon as well" Clint chimed in. "I'm going to head out early to go home" he gave a wink. He had told you, he was basically father of the year now to his kids since you talked to the animals for them. "You have made a lot more progress than I thought. You deserve the break kid"
"I guess I could go for a swim" you sighed, wondering what time Bucky was going to be home.
"You should go for a nap, you look terrible" Pepper looked at you worriedly.
"It's harder to sleep when Bucky isn't here to hold me" you whispered.
"It can't be the body heat, you have five wolves sleeping with you" Scott spoke the obvious.
"It's the cuddles" you shrugged slightly, silently keeping the rest of your thoughts to yourself. "I think today is the day for Blue" you decided. "We should try him on ground meat for lunch"
"We will get Anastasia and Edwin to try it too" Bruce nodded in agreement.
"Thank you for asking for extra steaks for Snow by the way" you looked up at Tony and Pepper.
"She's filling out quickly, we are looking forward to meeting the new pups" Pepper gave a smile.
"That will be another few weeks" you looked to Snow who gave a soft bark. "Two, maybe three"
"Did she decide where yet?" Pepper asked gently, and you looked at Snow.
"I haven't, I still want to be able to be with the pack at night as well as during the day. It's hard to decide" Snow let you know, and you repeated it for the team.
"Maybe we can make something that can be moved at night for her and the pups" Tony decided. "I'll start working on it"
"We can help" Peter offered.
"After our homework is done, of course" Pietro nodded.
"Alright, I'll look forward to working with you boys on a new project" Tony paused for a moment and gave them both a smile.
"We had better get to school" Peter stood up and grabbed his bag. Both he and Pietro gave you a quick kiss on the cheek before running out towards the front door.
"I guess I'll go start packing" you stood up slowly and Blue started barking from where he was with his toys on the floor.
"Have you heard from Bucky today?" Clint asked quickly.
"He sent me a photo while I was sleeping of the sunrise." you gave a small smile. "I'm looking forward to him being home again"
"I'll come check on you in a bit, kid" Clint winked at you, and you went to put your dishes away.
