I'll Always Find You *TBATE x F!Reader [ArthurxReader] DISCONTINUED!!!

Readers Pov-

The wykes boy and his minion had volunteered and everyone started getting ready. He bumped into Arthur as he walked past us.

We had changed into clothing more suitable for combat and as everyone was done we had stepped onto the field, Thor and Sylvie were under a log together. Sylvie was sleeping while thor was staring at me worriedly.

Although he hated to admit it he did love me, and cared for my safety. He was willing to risk exposing himself to everyone if i got hurt. He told me this while I was setting him down which really, just made me way more nervous.

I was standing next to Arthur as we were stretching waiting for the other teams players to arrive.

"God, It's been so long since I've had an actual battle. My body is going to be aching after this" I complained stretching my arms and legs.  Arthur chuckled, which really sounded more like a wheeze and shook his head " Don't worry Y/N I'll keep you safe" He replied coming up to me and kissing my cheek.

I looked at him confused, did i look like some lady in need of saving over here? I thought as he went back to stretching.

I was too busy rapped up in my thoughts that I hadn't realized the princess looking at us.

I looked over at Arthur and chuckled at his sad attempt to try and fix his elbow pad. I walked up to him and fixed it. In the process I heard a soft "oh" from behind us and saw the princess standing right infront of us.

"Hello princess Tessia" I said smiling still fixing Arthurs elbow pad. Arthur looked up to her and smiled "Its nice to see you tess, need anything?" he asked looking back at me.

She cleared her throat and brought up that formal accent she used when she was around arthur "yes Actually. I was just wondering..well..Is there something going on between you and Miss houston over here?" 

Everything went quiet for a moment I looked up at Art carefully and he looked at me. I wanted to be careful on what to say since i knew she liked him but then theres Arthur the oblivious.

"Yes actually shes my girlfriend" He blurted out, smiling as if he did something great. He looked at me like a puppy when they want praise after they do something good.

A quiet 'oh' left the princess mouth and she excused herself.

"I really have to teach you to watch your mouth around people" I told Arthur as i tightend his elbow pad. "Ow! Ow! what do you mean?! I was telling her the truth..you are mine" He said mumbling the last part as he tried loosing the pad.

I shook my head even though I had the largest smile ever. 

Our professor started explaining the rules and a shot of adrenaline rushed into my body. It felt great to be back on the field moving and doing combat. It was one of those things me and Arthur shared together. Other couples did bird watching, me and Arthur had battles with consequences  that the loser had to face. 

Just as I had predicted Lucas had gone after Arthur and Curtis after Tessia. What I wasn't expecting was Clive to come after me.

So when he charged I was caught off guard as I was still looking around the field.

I let out a chuckle as i dodged his attacks.

He grunted and used an elemental spell as his next attack and I swiftly dogged that too. While he was charging at me I was looking around the arena and caught Lucas and Arthur about to go at it. Our professor had loomed over them and circled around the entire field once more.

Suddenly a surge of energy had passed through everyone and clive had stopped in his tracks. The feeling came from Arthur. I was sure of it. He had activated his beast will. 

After everyone had calmed down. Clive charged back at me this time looking like he wanted to say something.

"Hm? Is there something you'd like to tell me?" I asked as I kept jumping backwards trying to dodge him.

He furrowed his brows and stopped for a moment before charging his double swords at me. "Thank you..for making sure I didn't get harmed when Arthur leywin had attacked me" It was soft and quiet but I was able to heart it still.

I was surprised he still remembered that but I chuckled and nodded. This time I charged at him.

I could hear  loud noises coming from Arthur and Lucas, I looked at Clive and he looked just as worried as i was. Their mock battle stopped looking like a mock battle and more like an actual battle. 

I had gotten Clive down and I had won against him. "You did great!" I chimed happily as i stretched my arm down to the tired boy.

"You also did great" he replied as i pulled him up.

We stood at the edge of the arena, watching and I was greeted with Lory and the twins cheering at me from the other side. 

I kept watching the battle and realized the princess and curtis were really going at it, just like Arthur and lucas. Thankfully claire had already won and came to sit by the rest of us. 

I smiled at her as she sat besides me and gave thor and sylvie some head pats.

Just as I thought things were getting really tight for tess and at any right she was at risk of getting seriously hurt.

I set thor and sylvie down as the rest of my classmates looked at me confused. I didn't realize when it happened but Curtis's attack was getting too strong for just a mock battle and I had bolted to the princess rescue. Since when did I Y/N Whitlock go around saving the princess that flirted with my husban er-boyfriend? I don't know. 

Arthurs Pov-

Just as I was about to charge at Lucas, Sylvie had cut into my thoughts. "Papa! Laniras  in danger, shes trying to save mama but shes going to get herself hurt!" Sylvies voice echoed in my head.

Y/n? what was y/n doing saving tess, I'm pretty sure she did not like tess at all for some reason.

I snapped out of my thoughts, this was not the time to think of her hatred she was going to get herself hurt.

I had to quickly activate my beast if I wanted to beat Lucas and get Y/N as soon as possible. I had to work fast If i wanted to get to her quickly.

Readers Pov-

I bolted to the princess as quick as i could and casted a barrier spell as I held onto her. She seemed confused and was about to protest but i shook my head. Because I had little time to cast the spell it was weak and I didn't have enough mana to cast a stronger one because of my previous fight. The princess seemed too weak to move so I was stuck here being a second shield.  I sighed, why am I always running to save children I dont even know.

Arthurs Pov-

I caught sight of the problem at hand. Curtis had realized his beast will and something had gone wrong with tess. And it seemed like Y/N had ran to protect her. I could tell the barrier spell was weak since she was low on mana and she was trying to ease the pain tess was feeling.

I sprinted over to her using my beast will to get there faster and caught the barrier cracking. From the other side of the arena I could see Thor and sylvie tensing up, along with the rest of our classmates. 

I didnt have enough mana to make a barrier and protect both of them so i held on to Y/Ns head as she held Tess on her lap.

Readers Pov-

I felt a hand resting on my head and i could tell it was Art. Before I could even protest to get him out of the way everything went black. The last thing I saw was the blue sky and a tall green tree.
