A/N: The scene where Tess outs Arthur for being immature didn't happen, mainly because the kiss didn't happen, so things didn't progress from just friends between them. Art just helped tess then she left. That was all. 

Readers Pov-

I impatiently tapped my pen as i waited for Arthur in the library, I promised I'd help him catch up on what he missed from the classes we take together but he hadn't showed yet.

I sighed and laid my head on the table. My eyes drifted to the ball of fur curled up laying on one of my text books. I yawned before i heard a sudden thud and turned back to thor to see him wide awake with his ears perked up and the book he was laying on hitting the floor. 

I furrowed my eyebrows and looked at him. "Hey buddy you ok?". "Mom! Sylvie and Your boyfriend are getting themselves in danger!" His thought echoing through my head.

"Huh? Where?"I asked finally understanding why this moron was late. "Out on the entrance of the library" He finished off, as he watched me bolt out.

I pushed the doors open and looked around the area. With the lamp posts as my only source of light. I saw a few shadows standing on the walkway heading to the west side of the library and I ran towards them.

"ARTHUR!" I called out getting their attention. I stood beside Arthur as he stared at me like i was crazy. :Ah! well thank you for joining us Miss Houston, You can watch as i beat your little boyfriend to a pulp!" Lucas wykes snarled as he looked at me. 

I recognized two of the boys and the third was a mystery to me. Lucas started screaming at art and i quickly realized what this was about, he was pissed that Arthur ran from his fight to save me and Tess.

I scoffed and folded my arms "Aww are you salty that arthur gave all his attention to me and left you there? All alone? I thought i'd only have to be worried of girls trying to steal my boyfriend but I wasn't expecting it from a wykes boy too" I retorted back narrowing my eyes at him.

The tips of his elf-ish ears turned a bright pink and Arthur looked at me shocked by my comment. "Hey! Watch it girly. I'll beat the crap out of you too!" Lucas shouted staring at me. 

"You can try!" I snapped back at the egoistic boy. 

He was fuming at this point but turned back to art and tried interogating him on how he made it half way across the arena. While this was happening I turned back to one of the boys in the back and I could see him starting to leak mana at a fast rate.

Once he started talking I realized that he was pissed that Kathlyn was being all friendly with Arthur, then he got mad at ME saying the same thing. I quickly realized this psycopath was obsessed with Kathlyn and i was going to do everything to make sure he stayed away from her.

I nugged Arthur quickly to try and get him to shut up. He was pissing the boy off even more and the mana leaking was getting worse. Art just looked at me and shrugged his shoulders.

I saw Lucas from the back smirking at me. If he wasn't such an asshole I'd say he was kinda cute, those elf features did wonders. But that wasn't the point right now.
