Readers Pov-

"Why would you say thatttt?" I whined, trying to hide my face in my hands. "I'm sorry, I just HAD to bring it up! It's so funny" Arthur wheezed. 

"Well at least I wasn't offered the heart of my enemies, for my love in return!" I retorted back, bring up that time the ginger  Olivia lex said she'd commit murder for him.

"Oh godddd, please don't bring that up, its so embarrassing" Arthur said shaking his head. He looked at me and smiled and I confusedly smiled back at him.  He pulled me closer to himself and rested his head on my lap, "I missed this" he mumbled getting comfortable.

I gently stroked his hair and hummed in agreement.

Arthurs Pov-

I slowly opened my eyes again, but i could tell Y/N was nowhere to be found. Instead I was greeted with three different heads- plus sylvie. 

"How are you feeling honey?" Mom asked as she came closer to me. "Much better, sorry for always worrying you guys like this" I mumbled.

"You look like crap brother" Eleanor said bluntly as she leaned on my bed. "Thank you for your kind and heartfelt words, my foul-mouthed thug of a sister" I retorted back. 

I looked around my room and couldn't find Y/N anywhere. " Uh Mom, do you perhaps know where Lanira is?" I asked cleared my throat slightly.

She looked at me and chuckled, "She had gone out to get you water and something to eat but ended up getting scolded by her parents, so she had asked us to bring these to you" She smiled pointing at the food on the table. 

I smiled at her and nodded before we started talking about random things, and maybe scaring my mother about fleeing the country. Shortly after Tess and her family came by and stayed for a visit.

"Brother! whos prettier, me or her!" Eleanor exclaimed, pointing at Tess then herself. "You guys are both pretty ugly to me" I responded bluntly looking at both of them. "Besides I find Lanira pretty enough" I added.

Readers Pov-

I could hear muffled talking and laughing as the rest of us waited outside, really can't believe my parents went to look at Arthur while I was away and left me out. I stood right beside the princess as Lilia and Elijah tried listening in. 

I saw the door quickly open and Elijah and Lilia stumbling and falling. I caught Arthur looking at me and I gave him an awkward smile and waved.

I stayed sitting down on a chair inside the room as people came and left, I caught a glimpse of feyfey sniffling after he found out what happened to Arthur and Me, while prince curtis kept apologizing. 

After everyone had left the old geezer being the last, Arthur made me lay beside him and used me like a pillow before dozing off. I hummed softly playing with his hair as soft snores left his mouth. Who would have thought having people come visit you could tire you out sooooo much?
