Lance Alea

Arthur acted fast and knelt beside her, placing his hand over her chest. He started filling mana into her body to try and ease the pain. "You seem to know me. Have we met before?"  The lance asked, assuming she recognized Arthurs voice. " I'm Arthur, The boy you met at Xyrus academy. You said I would be the same age as your brother, remember?" Arthur asked.

The lance chuckled lightly, "Ah, thats right, The boy spying on bairon" . You watched from afar, trying to figure out a course of action. " I don't understand how this happened. How did this..How are you like this?!" Arthur shouted abruptly. 

Lance Alea was quiet for a moment before responding " You mean..How am I still alive? He kept me alive this long as revenge" Arthur looked at her curiously as she pulled something out from her ring. It was a black crystal. It looked corrupted and evil. 

"Revenge..?" You asked quietly, eyeing the crystal wearily. " For..laying a hand on him.." She responded tiredly. Arthur reached out to grab the crystal and you quickly rushed over and placed your hand on his shoulder. 

He looked up at you and nodded. " Even with my shattered core..I should be able to show you..with the mana you imbued into me earlier" She stated, reaching her hand over to Arthur and placing her for head on his. 

You watched carefully and realized Arthurs body basically went limp for just a few seconds before he opened his eyes and gasped for air. Immediately after Arthur moved away and started throwing up. "I'm sorry..." Lance Alea said, even though she couldn't see it, she could still hear. 

You looked at Arthur then back at Lance Alea. Just what the hell had she shown him? "Lance Alea. If you could please show me as well." You started walking up close to her before Arthur placed his hand in front of you.

Wiping his mouth, he turned around and looked at you "No. I'm enough for the message to be passed on." Arthur got up and knelt, not long after you knelt besides him as well. "Thank you for your service." You both said in union bowing your heads in front of the lance, even though she couldn't see you.

You both looked up to hear quiet sobs from the lance and tears falling from her face. Without a second thought you quickly went over and hugged her. " I- I don't want to die, Lanira.." She said quietly. You weren't sure how she knew your name, but that wasn't the point right now. 

Arthur walked over and hugged her as well. We all just stayed there, crying. 

You hated it.You hated the fact that You could do nothing to help her besides being here. You hated the idea of just watching a friend of yours die and being helpless. 

You both cried with her, until her last breath. Until her hand fell to her side and the flowers around her started withering.
