Chapter 1

(WHOOSH!)

In one swift move, Flash removes Falena Falco from Ladybug's grip. And just before Thawne can get away, Flash grabs him, and ties him up to one of the lampposts, with Falena Falco.

Flash: And just in case you get any ideas.

He slaps a speed-dampening bracelet on Thawne's wrist.

Flash: Now, stay put. And I'll be back, to bring you in.

Reverse Flash: You really think you've won, Allen?
You've only bought yourself more time. And if there's one thing I know, it's prolonging the inevitable. Like my associate told you, from the beginning. We're just getting started.

Flash says nothing before racing back to Ladybug.

(WHOOSH!)

Ladybug: What are you doing, Flash?!
I had that pathetic excuse for a supervillain, right where I wanted her!

Flash remains calm and collected.

Flash: Ladybug, you're clearly not thinking straight.
Just calm down, and we can talk about this.

Ladybug: There's nothing to talk about! That psychopath took everything away from m-, uh, Marinette! She deserves to pay!

Flash: I know, and she will. But doing this isn't the way. It won't bring them back.

Ladybug: No, but it'll keep her from taking anyone else!
And if you think you're going to stand between me and getting justice for my- uh, Marinette's mother, you've got another thing coming!

Flash: You know I can't let you do that.

Lightning crashes in the sky as it begins to rain.

(KRAK-THOOM!)

Cat Noir wraps things up, with the news crew.

Cat Noir: Just get somewhere safe, we can't risk anyone getting hurt.

Clara Contard nods, cooperatively.

Clara: You got it, Cat Noir.

He grabs his staff and leaps down, and sees his spotted crime-fighting partner, arguing with the Scarlet Speedster.

Ladybug: You don't get it, Flash! That manipulative and heartless excuse for a human being took away everything that Marinette cared about, from her! And if you want to stand in my way, then so be it!

Ladybug grabs her yoyo from her hip, and whirls it around, rapidly.
An aggressive, and menacing, snarl emerges on her face.
Her and Flash's eyes lock on each other.

Flash: Look, trust me when I tell you, Ladybug. You don't want to do this, not again.

Ladybug says nothing and starts attacking Flash.
But he swiftly dodges her yoyo swings, and lands multiple speed punches.

Cat Noir begins to step forward to stop his two allies from fighting, when someone grabs his shoulder.

Cat Noir turns around to see Lila Rossi holding an umbrella, and gently holding his shoulder.

Lila: Let him handle this, trust me.

Flash continues blocking multiple swipes from Ladybug's yoyo.

Flash: You seriously want a repeat of last time, don't you, Ladybug?!

Ladybug: Shut up and fight, or help me get my justice!

She continues her onslaught, with limited success.

Flash: I hate to tell you, Ladybug. But what you're doing, this isn't justice!

She launches her yoyo towards him, again.
But he grabs the yoyo and whips around. Sending her flying forward a few meters.
Before she ends up hitting a lamppost, bending it out of shape.
