Kagami sits in the foyer of the Tsurugi Penthouse, waiting for her mother to return from her tech firm. The front door opens and Tomoe enters the house.
Kagami: Mother.
Tomoe: Kagami, I trust your fencing practice went well?
Kagami: Very well, mother.
Tomoe: Good. As a daughter of the Tsurugi name. It's imperative that we maintain our status of perfection.
Kagami: Of course, mother.
Tomoe: Now, I've had a long day, and I'm exhausted. Is there anything else you wish to discuss with me, daughter?
Kagami: Yes, mother. The school dance is approaching next month. And I wish to attend.
Tomoe clutches her bōkken, tensely.
Tomoe: Listen to me, Kagami. We are Tsurugis, we don't lower ourselves by attending events for the middle class!
We only attend high society events, as is our reputation!
Therefore, I forbid you from attending, my answer is no!She begins to head out of the foyer.
Kagami wasn't deterred, however. For she had a trump card, hidden up her sleeve.Kagami: Adrien will be going.
Tomoe stops, and turns back around to her daughter.
Tomoe: What was that?
Kagami: I said, Adrien will be going.
Tomoe's eyebrows raise in surprise, but she quickly suppresses her shock.
Tomoe: You're certain of this?
Kagami: Absolutely, mother.
Tomoe: Very well, you can go. Just don't stay out too late.
Kagami: Thank you, mother.
Tomoe nods, and heads to her bedroom.
The second the door closes, Kagami lets an excited grin crawl across her face.Kagami: Yes!
Back at the secluded rooftop, Flash was in shock by what he just heard.
Flash: What do you mean, “bring your aunt back to life?”
Argos: In a secret chamber, underneath my uncle's mansion. He keeps my Aunt Emilie in a glass containment unit. She's in a comatose state.
Flash: From what, though?
Argos: Because of this.
Argos touches the brooch on his chest.
Flash: The Peacock Miraculous?
Argos: Yes. She used it while it was damaged, and she fell into a coma. That's why my uncle wants the Miraculouses. So he can bring her back.
Flash shakes his head.
Flash: You know there'd be a terrible price to pay.
In order for your aunt to return, someone would have to take her place.Argos: (Sighs) There's no price too high for me. I have nothing left to lose.
Flash: But here's what I don't understand. Why on earth would your aunt use the Peacock Miraculous to begin with, if she knew it was damaged?
Argos: Well, I have a theory. I think she used it to conceive my cousin.
Flash: You think Adrien is a Senti-monster?
Argos: Don't call them that, I hate that term. They're living creatures, not monsters.
Flash: Sorry. But what makes you think he is one?
Argos: It's simple. He can't say no to my uncle, no matter how outrageous his demand. Why else would my cousin do that, if he weren't one.
Flash: If that's true, then where would his amok be?
Argos: I think it's in the twin rings, my uncle keeps. That's why I stole the ring, to free my cousin from my uncle. That's why I want the Miraculous. So I can create a free world.
Flash strokes his chin, taking all of the information in.
Flash: Then how can you use the Peacock Miraculous if it was damaged?
Argos: My uncle fixed it. He read through a special book for the Miraculous, and found a way to repair it. It's called the Grimoire. It contains all the information regarding the Miraculouses, all of it encoded.
Flash: I see. And what do you want me to do?
Argos: You're a detective, right? I want you to investigate my uncle and find out what he's up to.
Flash: Well, he's currently under investigation, as of now. Along with Tsurugi Industries, too. I should run you in, as well. For trespassing, identity theft, blackmail, extortion, and larceny. Not to mention aiding a terrorist.
Argos: But you won't. Because like it or not, you and I have the same goals.
At Reverse Flash's lair, meanwhile , Hawk Moth finishes up his meeting with both Eobard Thawne, and the Future Lila.
Hawk Moth: So, we're all in agreement, that we have one common enemy: Barry Allen.
Thawne: Exactly. And as far any of us are concerned, if he finds out what we're up to. We're out of business.
Future Lila: Which is why we have countermeasures in place, Thawne. And I expect your full cooperation, Gabriel. Otherwise, you'll have a target on your back, for the rest of your life.
Hawk Moth: I know. And don't worry about me. I'll handle business on my end. You just focus on getting Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous.
Future Lila: Very well. Now leave.
Hawk Moth: Gladly.
Hawk Moth gets up and heads towards the large door, exiting the warehouse.
Thawne: You and I both know he can't be trusted, right?
Future Lila: I'm well aware. That's why once we have what we need, we'll dispose of him. And I'll finally be rid of that pest, Marinette, and you'll be rid of The Flash, once and for all.
Thawne: Indeed.
Future Lila furls her brow and turns to her associate.
Future Lila: By the way, you never did answer my question.
Thawne: What question?
Future Lila: About why didn't you age backwards, like Barry did, when you came here.
Thawne: Oh, that. That's simple. It's because I didn't travel here using the Speed Force. I used my Tachyon Enhancer to tap into the Negative Speed Force, to prevent myself from getting younger, and travel to this Earth, simultaneously.
Future Lila: Oh, okay. That makes sense.
