Meanwhile, Reverse Flash enters the bedroom of Alix Kubdel. Inside, were multiple posters, and pieces of street art on sheets of poster board. There was also a bike, a skateboard, and rollerblades, along with a desk with a computer, near Alix’s bed.

Despite the somewhat tomboyish nature and appearance of Alix, she did happen to keep her room somewhat neat, and tidy.

Reverse Flash: Hmm. Not what I was expecting. At least it's not a pigsty.

He takes out the replica Particle Scanner, and inspects the room.
The device starts pinging, until it locks onto a drawer.
Reverse Flash opens the drawer and finds the emblem Alix made when she worked with Flash, as Time Warp.
Reverse Flash presses the comlink, in his earpiece.

Reverse Flash: Ms. Rossi? I found it. The final piece of our little puzzle.

Future Lila (CL): “ Excellent! Now, we can finally initiate the final part of our plan.”

Reverse Flash: Wait, I have something to attend to.

Future Lila (CL): “What is it?”

Reverse Flash: You'll see, once I return.

He races out of the Kubdel residence.

(ZOOOOM!)

Back at the hospital, Barry and Juleka wait outside Rose's hospital room. Waiting for any new developments on her condition. Juleka was asleep on Barry's shoulder, when a nurse approached the duo.

Nurse: Excuse me, are you two with Ms. Lavilliant?

Barry: Yes, ma’am. We are. Juleka, wake up.

He gently shakes Juleka awake.

Juleka: (Mumbles) Huh, wha-? What's going on?

Nurse: Your friend is awake, and she's stable.

Barry: Can we see her?

Nurse: Absolutely. In fact, she was asking for your friend, Ms. Couffaine, when she woke up.

Barry: Okay. C'mon, Juleka.

Juleka: (Mumbles) Okay.

The two get up from their seats, and the nurse leads them to Rose's room.

Now, Barry and Juleka enter Rose's hospital room, seeing her lying on her bed, with an IV tube in her arm.

Nurse: Here we are.

Juleka: Rose!

Rose: Hey, guys.

Juleka goes up to Rose's bed, and gently hugs the blonde. Her eyes wet with tears.

Juleka: (Tearfully) I'm so glad you're awake. I was so worried about you, I thought I was going to lose you.

Rose: It's okay, Juleka. I'm feeling much better than I did, earlier.

Rose glances at Barry.

Rose: And thanks for keeping Juleka company, Barry. I really appreciate it.

Barry: No worries, Rose. Just looking out for my friends.

The doctor enters, and checks the medical records.

Doctor: Okay, Ms. Lavilliant. After going over your records, I understand that you've had medical treatments prior to this?

Rose nods, in conformation.

Rose: Yes, ma’am. I've received treatments for my illness every month, for the past year and a half, now.

Barry interjects, for a moment.

Barry: Excuse me, doctor. But what illness is Rose suffering from, exactly? Our friends said that she's had it since she was little, but it could come back at any time.

Doctor: I'm afraid Ms. Lavilliant is suffering from an acute form of leukemia. Her body isn't producing enough red blood cells, which is what's causing her fatigue and headaches.

Juleka wipes away her tears, so she can speak.

Juleka: Is there anything we can do for her?

Doctor: Well, your friend is in her early stages. So, it is serious, but treatable. I suspect that there is a discrepancy with Ms. Lavilliant’s genetics. Which resulted in her condition.

Nurse: Rose, do you know if anyone else in your family has, or has had, a history of leukemia?

Rose thinks for a few seconds.

Rose: Well, I remember my mom telling me that a few of her aunts and uncles had a similar disease, growing up. Though, I'm not entirely sure, so take this with a grain of salt.

Barry turns to the hospital staff.

Barry: What're the treatment options?

Nurse: Well, we can give Ms. Lavilliant a blood transfusion from a healthy donor, and use their blood to strengthen her immune system, along with a round of chemo treatment.

Hearing this new information, both Juleka and Barry perked up.

Barry: Okay, then. Let's do it.

Doctor: Hold on, first we need to find a suitable donor for Rose.

Juleka: I'll do it. I'll donate my blood for Rose.

The nurse checks the records.

Nurse: I'm sorry, Ms. Couffaine. But I'm afraid you're not a match for Rose.

Juleka was suddenly disheartened by this.

Juleka: No, no. That….that can't be.

Juleka covers her mouth, in shock. She looked as though she were about to cry, again.

Barry: What blood type does Rose need?

Doctor: Ms. Lavilliant needs a donor with Type O blood.

Barry's expression suddenly changes.

Barry: Wait, that's the same blood type as mine. My blood type is O Negative. That makes me a universal donor.

Nurse: In that case, are you willing to donate your blood to Ms. Lavilliant.

Barry turns to Rose, who was holding Juleka's hand, soothingly.

Barry: Yes, absolutely.

Nurse: Very well. If you'll just come with me.

Barry: Of course.

He starts to walk out. But Juleka gets up, and stops him before he exits the room. Hugging him tightly.

Juleka: (Tearfully) Thank you. Thank you so much, Barry.

Barry reciprocates the hug.

Barry: It's alright, Juleka.

She lets him go, and he walks out. Juleka sits back down, next to Rose's hospital bed, and Rose holds Juleka's hand.

Rose: It's gonna be okay, Jule. I have every hope in Barry. He's always there when we need him.

Juleka: I honestly hope you're right, Rose.
