Aside from that particular morning incident the day went as usual go to classes, have lunch with Ichigo along with the others, and then attend the last few classes after that.

Ichigo seemed distracted most of the time but that was to be expected after what he had witnessed this morning.

Night soon approached I had long since forgone my school outfit replacing it with my black cloak and orange mask. The attacks of those monsters have increased so it's best if I stayed on lookout I mentally planned standing perfectly still atop of a pole.

"It's just as I thought there is another one," I remarked after finally sensing the energy signature of another one of those monsters disappearing in a swirl. I teleported to its location. It was rather giant compared to the normal one's I was used to regardless I would put it down swiftly before it does any harm.

The monster turned as though it sensed me it then ran chasing after something "you're not going to get away from me," I said roof hopping after the beast.

Something seems familiar about these streets though I thought having a sudden bad feeling bear down onto my chest 'wait this is where Ichigo lives shit!'

The monster reaches out to slam its hand against their house, but I was quick to flash through a set of hand seals "Windstyle: Infinite Breakthrough," I exhaled greatly unleashing as the name of technique implies a great breakthrough of wind launching the beast back before it could even destroy the household.

I exhaled a sigh of relief I made it just in time I thought "now then it's about time I put you down," I said out loud only to widen my eyes seeing the creature disappear "what where did it go?!" I exclaimed.

"Behind you!" shouted two people, one I recognized to be Ichigo the other sounded like a female that I did not know. Still thanks to their warning though I was able to activate Kamui in time to phase right through the swipe that would have surely decapitated me in half.

I leaped back towards where I heard Ichigo's voice come from landing next to him I say "go back in the house Ichigo Kurosaki it's not safe here for you or anyone else for that matter," Ichigo shakes his head "no way in hell I am letting you take this thing on it's going to hurt everyone else I know and I can't let that happen!" he quipped back in anger.

"The masked man is correct Ichigo go back inside the house it's not safe for you either way...not to mention this thing it's not here for either of us but rather it's after the energy inside your soul which must have been merely dormant but the moment you touched that spirit of that young girl it awakened causing the hollow to be attracted to you ," said the unknown female I turn to take a look only to see that it was the same black robed girl from before "your-" I began to speak only to be cut off when the girl said "it's best to be on your guard for now we can talk later,"

I nod reaching out behind me I pulled out my black colored chokoto blade from its scabbard. While the girl pulls out what appeared to be a katana "wait just a minute are you saying it's my fault that thing is here? That I almost put everyone I love in danger?!" Ichigo exclaims.

"What are you talking about of course it's not your fault-" I tried to say more but the idiot ran ahead standing right in front of the monster or hollow I should rather say remembering what the black robed girl said earlier.

"Hey if it's just me you want then come and face me only," he exclaimed the hollow roared striking forward. The girl that stood next to me disappeared I wasn't sure how, but my eye copied her movement regardless.

Knowing I wouldn't make it in time to help I instead used the long-range ability of my left eye "KAMUI!" I exclaimed, focusing on the hollows bottom jaw.

Space began to distort tearing the hollow's bottom jaw off until it disappeared into my inner pocket world, unfortunately the hollow was still able to inflict a wound with the top half of its remaining jaw.

I cursed internally watching the girl collapse onto her knees, blood seeping onto the street cement beneath her.

The hollow turns its attention onto me wildly it began to attack me I maneuvered around it's strikes. My sharingan had fully broken down that technique that black haired girl in the robe used earlier so using that I began to move at an instant moment striking the hollow's arms and legs leaving small cut like wounds.

It only served to make the beast even angrier it's speed somehow increased. I had no choice but to keep using my Kamui to phase through the rapid strikes, but I couldn't hold it for much longer the five-minute limit was almost up I thought with a bit of panic.

Worst thing was that I couldn't use my ninjutsu techniques while using the right eye of my Kamui in synch I looked up sensing the hollow's attack "shimatta!!" (damn it) I exclaimed as its fist crashed into my face sending me flying back the five-minute mark was up.

Landing face planted into the ground I groaned from the pain I felt. Slowly I began to stand back up watching the hollow turn around to face Ichigo and the black robed girl.

My sharingan eye read their lips for a moment catching onto what they were saying. The next thing I knew after Ichigo had impaled himself with the girl's sword then a bright burst of light came forth.

The orange mask on my face began to reveal cracks until it finally shattered away, clattering onto the ground. I gazed upon the hollow watching it charge at Ichigo who had changed now donning the same black robes like that girl along with wielding a giant blade.

Ichigo charged, gripping the sword in his hand tightly. The hollow raises its foot to stomp on him but Ichigo was quick to slice off its leg giving me an opening for a possible hidden attack.

Flicking my right hand out I engulf it into a Raikiri then picked up my chokoto with that same hand channeling the jutsu through the sword with a roar I charged leaping high into the sky with my chakra enhanced feet I cleaved downwards slicing the hollow in half.

The remains disappeared soon after leaving the three of us Ichigo stares at me intently "...Ayato?" he questioned.

I sighed closing my eyes for a moment "...yare yare looks like the cats out of the bag...yo Ichigo," I greeted.
