Normal POV

The sounds of blades of clashing midair echoed through the area Kurai back flipped away from one of Kushina's sword strikes before swiping at her with his own blade. She attempts to dodge but Kurai having predicted that she would do so slammed his right foot into her stomach pushing her back a few meters away from him.

Kushina grunted from the impact but remained unaffected by the attack she reached out grabbing her sword from midair before doing a series of acrobatic slashes that forced Kurai to go into a defensive position.

With his reinforced his eyes he could see her strikes but still he wasn't fast enough to actually dodge her attacks. He could imitate Ashina Uzumaki's attacks, techniques, and experiences but his body wasn't quite built enough to handle all of that at once.

Blocking another hard slash Kurai jumped up bringing up several kunai blueprints and then successfully projected them right towards Kushina at full speed.

A green glow covers Kushina's Tsuki no Hime "Kenjutsu: Great Wind Slash," she exclaimed taking out all the projected kunai but that was just what Kurai wanted. His right hand extends out projecting a second Tsuki no Hime he rushes forward with a mighty leap.

The two fake blades meet up with the original head on causing sparks to form Kushina didn't even look fazed by the strength Kurai was putting on her "I am not sure how you were able to use those kenjutsu forms Kurai-kun but perhaps you will tell me after the bell rings," she said as a barrage of chains erupted forth from her back slamming Kurai backwards into the air.

The fake swords were instantly replaced with a black bow he pulled the string back unleashing a series of arrows that were fully charged with chakra.

"I heard that you were quite prodigious with a bow the weapon is rather uncommon these days, but I see that it suits you well Kurai-kun," Kushina commented casually destroying the arrows with her chains which made Kurai release a sound of annoyance.

Kurai lands back down to the ground with a ground "as expected of brother Minato's wife...but even so I still have to try," he replied tracing out a pair of identical chakra conductive tanto blades instead of another copy of Tsuki no Hime.

Kushina shook her head "you're still trying to help the other two even though they clearly have no intentions of giving you a bell why?" she questioned.

The boy shifts into a wide stance filled with a bunch of openings that Kushina could easily exploit "I don't mind going back to the academy all that much if they don't want to work with me then that's fine...but I still want to help them because I believe it's the right thing to do," he explained.

"I see that's quite a shame you've got a lot of potential in kenjutsu I would've loved to have taught you dattebane but I guess all good things must come to an end," she replied disappearing faster than Kurai could react.

His eyes widen feeling Kushina's sword about to bisect him it was only thanks to his instincts that he was able to dodge it by leaning away to the right.

That was a close one Kurai thought with shock he then twisted his body around while spinning one of his blades. Kushina blocked the tanto while aiming for Kurai's exposed opening but for some reason he smirked when she did so.

He reacts quickly parrying her blade away with his left tanto the right one is brought down followed up with a few more strikes to Kushina's sides causing her to get pushed back from the force of those strikes.

"y-you...YOU FOOL!! WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?!" Kushina exclaimed after she recovered from the attack Kurai shrugged in response "I don't know what you're talking about sensei," he replied which only made her madder "you created a false opening and then redirected my attack.
