Shirou Alter POV
I watched as Gilgamesh walked down the streets of Fuyuki from my vantage spot of a nearby roof.
Archer's Nameless Black Bow appears in my right hand and slipped the corrupted Kanshou into it altering it into an arrow before reaching down and doing the same with Bakuya. I then proceeded to aim at Gilgamesh mentally going through the principles of Kyuuodu.
With an exhale I released the string of my bow watching the twin arrows fly forward, cutting through the night with blinding speed. They moved in an arc one trailing slightly behind the other, but both unerringly drawn toward Gilgamesh.
However, the King of Heros wasn't an ordinary person.
With a flash of gold, his hand raised, the Gate of Babylon swung open with a mocking flourish he would intercept them with his treasure
But I had planned for that.
The moment before impact, the arrows curved, their resonance pulling them together. They collapsed on each other, weaving into a perfect convergence a crossfire of inevitability. The first arrow aimed at Gilgamesh's chest but the second, now trailing just behind would meet him from the side if he tried to block one the other would find its mark.
Time slowed.
Gilgamesh's eyes narrowed in irritation "damn faker come out from your hiding spot!" he roared flicking his wrist, summoning a mystic staff to dismantle the incoming projectiles. As if sensing the danger coming to them the now married arrows split apart again avoiding the staff and continuing on their course.
The smoke cleared and there he was Gilgamesh furious beyond measure his red eyes burning with contempt "you damned faker! You dare to sully my image like this?!" his voice was a roar a guttural shout of rage "when I am done with you that wretched creature will regret sending its dog after me!" he pointed the Gate of Babylon at my position.
I didn't need to see the contents of his vault to know what was coming next he was going to flood me with his treasures. At least more then a hundred weapons were aimed at me.
I was faster though.
I raised my hand copying the weapons from his Gates in an instant "Trace On: Rapid Fire," each weapon I projected back at him faster than he could summon them, their forms blurring with speed equal to his but with a faint trail of red and black streaking through the air instead of gold.
I vanished away from the roof top my body moving with a speed that even he could not keep up with and reappeared before him with a renewed pair of Kanshou and Bakuya ready to strike him down.
Gilgamesh sneered "you have some nerve, Faker. but do you truly believe you can stand against me with those mere imitations?"
I didn't answer words were wasted on someone like him.
Instead, I continued forward my corrupted circuits roaring as I poured my mana into my speed and precision. Each step cracked the pavement beneath me as I closed the distance Kanshou slashing upward, Bakuya following towards his neck.
From above his gates activated once more ready to strike me forcing me to move back but I soon countered back "Trace on," I muttered under my breath.
Swords materialized midair around me replicas of his own treasures altered and corrupted by my prana. They collided with his barrage in a cacophony of clashing steel buying me the opening I needed.
I was upon him again this time Kanshou's edge aimed for his exposed throat instead of Bakuya.
Gilgamesh despite not being a fighter like Saber or Lancer was at least slightly skilled enough to use one of his many weapons.
With effortless grace he parried my strike using a blade drawn from the Gate sparks erupted as our swords met, the force of the clash sending ripples through the air. He spun countering with a thrust that I barely deflected with Bakuya.
"Is this all you have Faker?" he taunted driving me back with a flurry of strikes "a collection of cheap sullied knockoffs?"
"You talk too much," I spat ducking beneath a wide slash and retaliating with a rapid series of strikes aimed at his vitals.
Gilgamesh's irritation grew with each clash his movements became more aggressive, more reckless. I exploited every lapse every moment of arrogance pushing him back step by step.
He wasn't a warrior but rather an owner just like me I am the perfect counter for his Gate of Babylon.
Another barrage of weapons erupted from the Gate forcing me to leap back, flipping through the air to avoid being impaled. My corrupted weapons spun in my hands as I landed my breaths coming in ragged bursts.
"You're resilient, I'll give you that," Gilgamesh said his voice dripping with disdain "but resilience won't save you. You are nothing but a mere pretender, a mongrel who doesn't even realize his place in the grand scheme of things"
I stood tall my corrupted blades pulsing with renewed vigor "oh...I know my place," I said my voice low and cold "and it's right here tearing down your throne," I continued discarding the married blades and raising my hand up
The world rippled as my mana surged, a blackened light spilling out from the space around me.
Gilgamesh froze his eyes narrowing in recognition.
"tch?..." he clicked his tongue and started launching more weapons at me from his gate thinking quickly I projected a reinforced nameless claymore that was altered to at least be bigger than a wall which would provide me with the cover I would need.
I spread my arms wide my voice steady "I am the Bone of my Sword," the first part of the aria for my world is spoken causing a burst of corrupted mana to surround me like a cloak.
"Steel is my body, and Fire my blood,"
My voice gained a harder edge to it as Gilgamesh continued his assault
"I Have Endured Over a Thousand Curses,"
I've seen and felt all of humanities sins course through my body as I was twisted by both Angra Mainyu and Sakura.
"Unknown to Salvation, nor known to Peace,"
Humanity cannot be saved all they do is indulge themselves within their sins-war, greed, lust, gluttony, and so much more that I've seen they cannot be saved but I shall give them a swift merciful fate.
"Have Withstood Despair to Create Countless Weapons,"
In the end I truly despaired because I could not save anyone since the start of the war...I could not even save Sakura from what Zouken and Shinji had done to her because I was to stuck on my ideals.
"Yet these hands will forever stain the world in darkness,"
I shall become all the evils in this world for the sake of being her protector.
"So as I pray now...give me...Unlimited Blade Works!" the chant is finished and in a blinding flash of darkness the world is overtaken by my own reality marble.
Gilgamesh's eyes narrowed as he took in the sight of my twisted world that once represented my former ideals.
Weapons of all kinds laid impaled on the cracked black ground, the sky was a swirling vortex of red and black, the grass was completely dry of life, and the wind was burning hot like an intense summer.
"Sorry you'll have to keep me company King of Heros...at least until I've run out of blades," I said lifting the prototypes of Gram and Durandal with a smirk plastered onto my face while my yellow eyes gained a slight tint in them.
"Onore! You dare to show such a disgusting world that is not only full of fakes but weapons from my own treasury," Gilgamesh roared as thousands of golden gates opened.
"They may be fake and diluted...but there's no rule out there that says a fake cannot match or surpass the original!" I roared launching myself forward with a great burst of black mana.
