Fate/Nameless Knight: Chapter One (One-Shot for now)

John responds by raising the long black sword "seal" he chanted as the rune on the black blade began to create a large vortex that sucked the construct into the blade.

A smile pasted itself on his face feeling a sudden surge of mana flow through his body "Erebus is a blade that will seal and absorb mana for me Morgana it's the perfect sword against someone like you," he explained to the shocked witch.

Getting desperate the witch began to use everything she had but all John had to do was either cut them down or just let Erebus absorb it letting him refuel his mana supply.

"CLARENT BLOOD ARTHUR!!" John screamed out as Clarent unleashed a massive red beam that slammed right into Morgana causing her staff to shatter and get sent flying into the wall behind her.

Using the last of his reinforcement magic John quickly dashed towards her pinning her hand together with Erebus holding her in place "AAHHHHHH!!!" Morgana screamed, feeling the black blade go through her palm and into the wall while sapping away at her mana.

John's breathing grew heavy with each step he took "I...win Morgana," he said as her eyes widen with disbelief and fear "please Sir John do-don't kill me not when I am so close...not all of this is my fault that damned magus of flowers knew of Camelot fate and didn't do anything about it why don't you go kill him instead of me he could have prevented everything," she pleaded.

"Oh I wish I could kill that damn cock sucker but Vivan got to him first otherwise I would have ripped the flesh from his body one by one until he begged for death," John whispered out gripping Clarent tightly.

"In any case your days of living are now over," John continued the blue part of his eye let out a soft glint as he raised Clarent.

"Wait! Killing me won't bring them back surely you know that Sir John," Morgana said with one last desperate shout.

John paused the bangs of his hair covered his eyes for a moment "your right...it won't bring them back," he said with a slight pause causing Morgana to let out a sigh of relief "but it would damn well make me feel better!!" he exclaimed stabbing Clarent deep inside her heart causing Morgana to let out a gasp of surprise and pain.

Her deep icy blue eyes flickered green as she gave a bitter smile towards John "I am sorry for it all Sir J-John," John knew it was not Morgana the Witch speaking but rather the Morgan the girl who never got to live her life because of the influence of her other personalities.

John remained silent as she slowly passed on leaving just him.

He walked away from her cooling corpse with a limp only to fall over he had used up a great deal of his mana and the injuries he sustained from the battle of Cammalan were beginning to catch up to him he could his life slipping away bit by bit.

Clarent dropped beside him with a soft clang as he stared at the ceiling above him John could hear faint footsteps rushing towards him "Sir John!" Bedivere exclaimed with panic.

John let out a weak chuckle, his mismatched eyes flickering with the faintest hint of relief "Sir Bedivere...I should have known you'd follow after me," he rasped his voice strained but laced with a hollow chuckle.

Bedivere knelt beside him his hands trembling as he gently cradled John's battered frame "S-Sir John just stay with me please help will come soon," Bedivere replied his voice thick with emotion "I've already had to lay rest to our beloved King...please don't make me do the same with you," he continued with barely restrained tears.

John's mismatched eyes softened as he looked up at Bedivere a faint smile tugging at his bloodied lips "ah, Bedivere... always the faithful one," he murmured his voice barely above a whisper "but you and I both know... this is my end there's no help coming and that's all right...perhaps it's time to lay my swords down and take a much needed rest," he said causing Bedivere's eyes to widen slight as those were nearly the same words that the King had uttered before her death.
