(I know the timeline a bit fucked up I realised that after I wrote this chapter. However, since it's only a minor fault you will just have to deal with it.)
Timeskip—The day after Y/N's disappearance from the Gremory estate.
The sun rose over the Gremory estate, casting long shadows across the ornate buildings and carefully manicured gardens. The ORC gathered in the training grounds, ready to resume their daily preparations under Rias's leadership. Yet, the absence of one particular individual loomed like an unspoken question.
"Still no sign of him?" Akeno asked, her voice soft but tinged with worry as she tied her long black hair into a ponytail.
Rias folded her arms, her crimson eyes narrowing. "No. He didn't leave any clues about where he went. I even reached out to Sirzechs to see if he might have contacted him, but it seems like he's completely disappeared."
"Maybe he's just off doing his own thing," Kiba suggested, sheathing one of his swords. "Y/N didn't strike me as the type to stay in one place for long."
"That doesn't excuse him vanishing without telling anyone," Rias said firmly, though a flicker of worry passed across her face.
"Tch. Maybe he finally realized he's not needed here," Issei muttered under his breath, crossing his arms. His words, as bitter as they were, lacked conviction.
Koneko glanced at him, her sharp amber eyes cutting through his defensive posture. "You don't believe that," she said bluntly.
Issei clicked his tongue but said nothing, instead turning his attention to the ground.
"I must admit," Akeno chimed in, her usual playful tone masking genuine curiosity, "for someone so mysterious, he does have a knack for leaving an impression. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing."
"Focus, everyone," Rias interjected, shaking her head to dispel her thoughts. "We have more pressing matters to attend to. Let's—"
A sudden, violent crash echoed through the estate, shaking the very ground beneath their feet. Everyone froze, the air thick with tension.
"What was that?" Issei asked, his eyes darting toward the source of the noise.
Grayfia appeared almost instantly, her expression as calm and composed as ever, though her tone carried urgency. "Lady Rias, intruders have breached the outer perimeter. We believe it to be an attack."
"Who?" Rias demanded, her hands already glowing with a faint crimson light.
"The Hero Faction," Grayfia said gravely. "They are here, and they've brought considerable fire power."
The ORC rushed to the estate's outskirts, their footsteps pounding against the ground as adrenaline coursed through their veins. The sight that greeted them was one of chaos. The once-pristine gardens were now scorched and broken, the elegant fountains shattered and spewing water into the air.
The morning sun cast its golden rays over the battle-scarred grounds of the Gremory estate, the peaceful façade of the underworld shattered by the arrival of an ominous force.
Standing at the center of the destruction was Cao Cao, a man whose very presence seemed to distort the air around him. His sharp features were almost aristocratic, but his eyes burned with cold calculation, reflecting a mind honed by strategy and ambition. Dressed in a dark tunic reinforced with light armor, he carried himself with the confidence of someone who had never known failure. His defining weapon, the True Longinus, glowed faintly in his hands, a legendary spear said to pierce gods themselves. Cao Cao's smirk was a chilling mix of arrogance and intrigue as he surveyed the opposition.
