The Underworld was dead silent, the kind of silence that pressed against your chest and gnawed at your nerves. The Occult Research Club trudged onward, their destination pulling them into the heart of Loki's domain. The land around them was all kinds of wrong—floating chunks of rock, a sky that looked like it wanted to swallow them whole, and an air so heavy it felt alive.

Rias stopped at the edge of a massive gorge, her crimson hair swaying in the ghostly wind. "This is it," she said, her voice calm but firm. "Loki's energy is strongest here."

Akeno stepped beside her, electricity crackling faintly at her fingertips. "He's definitely expecting us. This mist... it's not normal. Be careful."

Y/n stood apart from the group, his crimson eyes narrowing. Something about this wasn't sitting right with him. Sure, Loki was a pain in the ass, but this? This wasn't his style. The mist crawling around their feet felt too precise, too intricate—like it wasn't just some Norse god's pet project.

"This bastard's not working alone," Y/n muttered under his breath, just loud enough to hear himself think. His fists clenched as his thoughts wandered to a more sinister figure. Anti-Spiral, you conniving prick... You're behind this, aren't you?

The realization made his chest tighten. The faint energy signature of the Anti-Spiral was there, tangled in the mist like a parasite. This wasn't just Loki's game—it was bait, and Y/n knew exactly who the bait was meant for.

"Tch, great. Just fucking great." He scowled and whispered to himself. "This is gonna suck."

Unfortunately, Koneko, ever the sharp-eared neko, caught him. Without warning, she tugged at his jacket, her usual stoic face tilted in curiosity. "You're more worried than normal. What's wrong?"

Y/n froze. "Shit," he muttered under his breath before looking down at her. "Nothing you need to worry about, kid haha. I'm just thinking." He gave her a quick, awkward pat on the head. To his dismay, she leaned into it, practically purring. Crap, I forgot she's part cat.

Koneko narrowed her eyes but let it slide. She turned and walked back to the group. Y/n let out a breath he didn't know he was holding. Note to self: watch your mouth around the cat-girl.

Scene Change – Loki's Lair

Loki stood on a jagged rock platform, his emerald cloak flapping dramatically in the cursed wind. Below, the battlefield stretched out like a twisted painting, the mist slithering across the ground as if it had a mind of its own. Nearby, Fenrir prowled, claws scraping against the stone. Jormungandr loomed in the distance, its massive coils moving lazily but with deadly intent.

Hel stood by her father's side, her cold gaze fixed on the mist. "You've gone too far," she said, her voice flat but edged with disapproval. "This mist... it isn't of our creation."

Loki smirked, his eyes glinting with madness. "Oh, my dear Hel, sometimes one must borrow from powers greater than themselves to create chaos worthy of a god. The Anti-Spiral has been... quite generous."

"You're insane," Hel snapped, her voice finally betraying some emotion. "That thing isn't interested in helping you. It's using you, Father. You're a fool if you think you can control it."

"Control?" Loki let out a laugh, the kind that sent chills down spines. "Oh, my sweet daughter, this isn't about control. This is... a partnership. I spread chaos, and they provide the tools. A mutually beneficial arrangement."
