"You failed them," a voice hissed, echoing through the ruined hall.
Rias spun around, her crimson hair whipping through the air. "Who's there? Show yourself!"
The shadows coalesced into a figure cloaked in darkness. "You were too weak. Too naive. You couldn't protect the ones you love."
"No!" Rias shouted, her voice trembling. "This isn't real! I won't let this happen!"
The figure laughed, the sound chilling. "Are you sure? Or is this just a glimpse of the future you're destined to face?"
Akeno's Vision
Akeno found herself standing in a serene meadow, the sun shining brightly above. For a moment, she felt at peace—the scent of wildflowers in the air, a gentle breeze brushing against her skin. Then she noticed two figures in the distance.
Her heart skipped a beat as she recognized them: her father, Baraqiel, and her mother, Shuri Himejima. They stood together, but there was no warmth in the scene. Shuri's expression was sorrowful, her gaze fixed on Akeno, while Baraqiel's eyes burned with cold disapproval.
"Mother? Father?" Akeno whispered, taking a hesitant step forward.
Shuri shook her head, tears streaking down her face. "Akeno... why didn't you save me?"
The words hit Akeno like a dagger. "No... I couldn't... I was just a child... I—"
"You abandoned me," Shuri said, her voice tinged with despair. "You ran away when I needed you the most."
Akeno's knees buckled, and she fell to the ground. "No, I didn't! I didn't want to leave you, Mother! I was too weak to stop what happened..."
"Enough." Baraqiel's booming voice silenced her. He loomed over her, his presence heavy with judgment. "You've tainted your mother's memory by choosing to embrace your devil blood. You've betrayed the sacred lineage of the Himejima clan."
Akeno's head snapped up, her tears replaced by defiance. "I didn't choose to be born this way!" she shouted. "And I won't let you judge me for trying to survive!"
The meadow darkened, the grass withering beneath her feet as storm clouds gathered above. Shuri's form began to dissolve into ash, carried away by the wind, while Baraqiel turned his back on her.
"Wait!" Akeno screamed, reaching for her mother as the last remnants of her form faded into nothingness. "Don't leave me! Please..."
She was left alone in the void, her own sobs echoing around her.
Kiba's Vision
Kiba stood in a field littered with broken swords, their jagged edges glinting in the pale light of a blood-red moon. Around him were the lifeless bodies of his comrades from the Holy Sword Project.
"Why did you survive?" a voice whispered, cold and accusing.
He turned to see the faces of his fallen friends, their eyes empty and hollow.
"You left us behind," one of them said, their voice filled with pain. "You ran while we died."
"No," Kiba said, his voice shaking. "I didn't... I couldn't save you..."
"You should have died with us," another voice spat. "You don't deserve to live."
Kiba gritted his teeth, his hands balling into fists. "I won't let your sacrifices be in vain. I'll avenge you... I swear it!"
Koneko's Vision
Koneko found herself in the middle of a crumbling village, the air thick with smoke and the ground littered with debris. At the center of the chaos stood her sister, Kuroka, her eyes glowing with malice.
