"You'll fail them again, Rias. It's only a matter of time."
Issei's Trial – "The Weight of Weakness"
Issei found himself in his old classroom, the sunlight streaming through the windows oddly warm. At first, it seemed harmless. But then he noticed the silence.
"Hello?" he called, walking toward the center of the room.
The light flickered, and suddenly, the classroom was full. His classmates sat at their desks, but their faces were wrong—empty sockets where their eyes should have been, mouths stitched shut.
"You don't belong here," a voice said behind him.
Issei turned to see himself—only it wasn't him. This version of Issei was taller, stronger, and more imposing. His armor glowed with an unearthly power, and his Boosted Gear looked far more advanced than his own.
"What the hell—?"
"You're weak," the other Issei said, stepping closer. "They don't need you. Rias doesn't need you. She deserves someone stronger."
"I—"
The scene shifted. Rias stood in front of him, her back turned. The other Issei was with her now, his arm wrapped protectively around her waist.
"You see?" the stronger Issei said, his voice cutting like a blade. "You'll never be enough. You'll always be second best."
"No," Issei growled, his Boosted Gear flaring to life. "I'm not gonna let some fake tell me who I am!"
The stronger Issei smirked. "Then prove it, you weak little bastard."
Issei charged, his fists trembling with fury.
Kiba's Trial – "The Shadow of Guilt"
Kiba stood in the ruins of the Holy Sword Project's laboratory. The stench of chemicals and blood filled the air, choking him with memories he'd buried long ago.
"Yuuuto," a soft voice called.
His heart froze. He turned slowly, his breath catching as he saw them—his friends. The ones he'd sworn to protect. The ones who'd died because of him.
"You left us," one of them said, stepping closer. Her eyes were hollow, accusing. "You survived, and we didn't. Why, Yuuuto? Why did you get to live?"
"I..." Kiba's voice faltered. "I didn't choose—"
"You did," another voice said sharply. A boy this time, his face twisted with anger. "You chose revenge over us. You cared more about your stupid vendetta than saving us!"
"No!" Kiba shouted, his hand gripping his sword tightly. "I've fought every day to honor your memory. I didn't—"
"Then why do we feel forgotten?" the girl whispered. "Why do we feel abandoned?"
Kiba fell to his knees, the weight of their words crushing him.
Akeno's Trial – "The Price of Power"
Akeno stood on a battlefield, her hands stained with blood. Her enemies lay scattered around her, their bodies burned and broken. But as she looked closer, she realized their faces were familiar.
"No..." she whispered, stumbling back.
Her father's lifeless body lay at her feet, his eyes wide with shock. The rest of the ORC surrounded her, their bodies charred and unrecognizable.
"You're a monster," a voice whispered.
She turned to see her mother standing there, her expression cold and distant.
