***This a recreation of the coffee-shop episode***
KS sat in her chair at the JPT station, her eyes staring at a photo of Haseena. Her hands shivered beneath the phone, her mind recalling her past actions. How could she do that to madam sir? She cursed herself. How could she have misunderstood Haseena as always? KS mumbled, the gravity of her haste actions weighing down on her.
Dropping the phone, she closed her eyes and leaned back in her chair, the memories flooding in her. She had lashed out at Haseena, complained about her to the department and had threatened Haseena when all she did was lend a helping hand. KS clenched her jaw, gritting her teeth rather painfully. Haseena hadn't said a word against her. She had been silent, listening to KS's false accusations.
KS stood straight and got up. Pacing around the station. The memories flowed, each a remnant of her hasty actions, actions that cost her the friendship with her madam sir. She stopped near a pillar, staring deep into it until her vision blurred when she uncurled her fist, slamming it into the wall. She kept punching, pieces of debris scattering across the floor, her hand bleeding throughout. She broke down, nursing her wounded hand, her mind grazing the past. She knew she had to rectify her mistake.
She made plans to ask for forgiveness, her mind leaping out the blues yet a deep question lingered, probing her mind. Will Haseena forgive her?

Haseena arrived at the coffee-shop, her eyes widening in surprise. She turned around, mouth agape, her eyes catching on the breath-taking decorations. She saw KS standing at a corner, her hands behind her back and her head lowered to the ground.
"Aarey KS this is really beautiful!" she said awakening KS from her chain of thoughts.
KS looked up, momentarily startled. "J...Jai Hind madam sir" she saluted her, quickly hiding off her fumble.
Haseena smiled lightly tapping KS's shoulder. "KS, relax. We are off-duty now."
KS smiled yet Haseena noted that her smile didn't touch her face. It bounced off her, a sigh replacing her happiness.
They settled next to each other, Haseena still eyeing the decorations.
"Madam Sir, do you like this?" she asked, hesitation all over her face.
"KS, I love this but why did you do all this KS?"
KS's expressions faltered as she looked down, staring into the table, her locked palms clenching against each other.
"J....Just madam sir..." she stuttered.
The waiter arrived with two steaming mugs of coffee, the aroma of coffee and cardamom filling the air between them. The mugs clinked atop the glass table top, mirroring the uncomfortable silence that grew between them. KS held her palms around the mug, the sting of heat stirring an uncomfortable sensation in her. Haseena lifted her cup when she suddenly leaned forward, exclaiming in shock.
"KS what happened to your hand?" she asked, her fingers slightly grazing over the bandaged palm.
KS gulped, her head bowed down. How was she going to explain the wound now? She closed her eyes, knowing that Haseena would surely scold her. She quickly withdrew her hand, gazing at Haseena with absent minded eyes.
"I got hurt during a case madam sir, that's all" she lied, the words swallowing up inside her.
Haseena glared at her, her expressions hardening. She knew that KS was lying yet she decided to leave it for now. She sipped her coffee, her eyes fixed on KS. "
