---

Without thinking, without breathing, Abhishek stormed inside.

He dropped to his knees in front of Aashna so fast it made Veer jolt back.

His hands trembled as he grabbed Aashna’s feet, tears already spilling from his eyes.

"Aashna," he choked, voice breaking into raw pieces. "Please... please forgive me. I’m sorry. I was a fool. I was blind. I— I can't breathe without you...!"

Aashna’s laughter died in her throat.
She looked down at him — the man who once ruled stadiums, who faced a million fans without blinking — now crying at her feet like a broken boy.

Her chest tightened painfully.

Memories flooded in — birthdays missed, promises broken, the loneliness she'd swallowed just to see him chase someone else.

She pulled her feet away slowly, her face blank.

"Abhishek..." she said, voice cold. "You don’t get to do this now."

---

Meanwhile, in the kitchen, Shubman ran forward and hugged Rihi tightly, burying his face against her shoulder.

"Rihi," he gasped out, voice shaking. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. Please don’t leave me. I’ll never — never hurt you again. I swear on everything... I can’t even exist without you..."

Rihi froze.

Her hands stayed limp at her sides.

She could still hear his words from that horrible night —
"Maybe you’re not enough. Maybe you were never enough."

It had shattered something inside her forever.

And now, hearing him sob against her, she didn’t know whether to scream or collapse.

---

The room held its breath.

Nobody spoke.

Nobody moved.

Only two boys — broken, desperate, clinging to the only thing they had ever truly wanted.

---

Veer stood up awkwardly from the couch.

"I should probably go..." he muttered.

Mrityunjay set down the pan with a thud and followed.
Both men disappeared out the door, leaving behind a battlefield of unfinished love stories.

---

Abhishek sat back on his knees, looking up at Aashna with red-rimmed eyes.

"I know I don’t deserve you," he whispered.
"I know I broke you.
But Aashna... without you, everything feels wrong.
The trophies... the stadiums... the millions screaming my name... none of it matters.
Only you matter."

His voice cracked.
"I love you.
I love you in every way I never said.
I love you even when I was too stupid to realize it."

Tears spilled from Aashna’s lashes, but she bit her lip hard enough to draw blood.

"You broke my trust, Abhishek," she whispered. "You let me believe I was replaceable."

He shook his head frantically.
"Never," he gasped. "Never. There’s no one else. It was always you."

---

Meanwhile, Shubman gripped Rihi’s hands between his own.

"I was cruel," he said, his voice ragged.
"I said things I didn’t mean.
Because I was scared.
Because you saw me — the real me — and I didn’t know how to be vulnerable."

He pressed her hands against his heart.

"You were perfect, Rihi.
You are perfect.
It was me who wasn’t enough.
I was the broken one."

A fresh tear rolled down his cheek.

"I don't deserve a second chance.
But please... if there’s even a tiny piece of your heart that still cares...
Please, give me a chance to fix this."

---

The girls stood still.

The world waited.

Was love stronger than heartbreak?

Could shattered hearts beat again?

For a long time, nobody spoke.

The sun broke through the clouds, casting a muted gold light across the room.

A second chance.

Maybe.

Just maybe.
