Rubik's Cube (Joshler)

Tyler's POV ~

I sat in my car for a few minutes once I arrived at the house trying to prepare myself for any outcome that might happen when I walk through the door.

After going over countless scenarios in my head I finally got out of the car and slowly made my way to the front door.

I didn't bother knocking considering this was my house so I just walked in, taking my shoes off after shutting the door.

I heard noise coming from the kitchen, everyone's probably eating breakfast. I started to walk toward the kitchen when my little sister Madison ran out of the living room and bumped into me.

She fell backwards making a "oof" sound. Once she saw it was me who she ran into she jumped up and gave me a hug.

"Where were you Tyler. I missed you. You were gone for like two days." her voice was muffled from having her face in my chest. "I was at a friend's house and I missed you too." I said hugging her back.

I guess my mom could hear me talking cause she came running out if the kitchen after I spoke. "Tyler!Your home!" she yelled as she ran at me squishing Madison between us as she gave me a hug.

"Hi mom." I said as I moved a bit to let Madison out from in between us so she wouldn't suffocate. "I'm so glad your home and I'm so sorry about the other night." she said as she pulled away to look at me.

"Its okay I shouldn't have left like that and I should've messaged you after I did to let you know I was safe.... I'm sorry I didn't and sorry for leaving." I could feel tears in my eyes though I'm not to sure why.... Maybe I just feel really guilty about what happened.

"It's okay" my mom said giving me another hug, which I returned almost instantly.

When me and my mom parted I looked up to see my dad standing in the hallway. "H-hi dad." I said shakily expecting him to yell at me for hitting him the other day.

He slowly started walking towards me. Once he was close enough to touch me I closed my eyes and my muscles stiffened, I was waiting for him to blow up at me or something but instead he wrapped his arms around me and squeezing so tightly I thought I'd pass out.

"I'm so sorry Tyler" my dad whispered. He sounded like he was about to cry. I've never seen my dad cry before. I slowly put my arm around him returning the hug. "I'm sorry to dad" I said before pulling away.

Everyone then proceeded to get ready for the day. My dad left for work while my mom cleaned up from breakfast. While she was doing the dishes she said I didn't have to go to school today if I didn't want to but I'd have to start going back tomorrow.

I gladly took that offer and went up to my room. I was hoping I could get a few more hours of sleep because I was extremely tired but before I could lay down my mom rushed into my room. "Tyler honey can you do me a huge favor?" she asked.

"Sure mom what do you need?" I asked rasing an eyebrow slightly. "Can you drive your brothers and sister to school? I would but my boss called and he wants me there early" she stated.

"Yea I can but aren't they already late? Its almost 9:30" she sighed before saying "yes I know their already late just make sure their there before second class starts." she then exited the room and left for work.

I gathered up my siblings and we all went out to my car. my brothers started fighting over who got to sit in the front so I told them neither of them are and I let Madison sit up front with me.

Once I dropped them off at school I made my way back home, the radio playing quietly. When I got home I went back up to my room and passed out still wearing the same clothes I was when I left the other day.

I woke up around 12:30 to the sound of my phone buzzing on the nightstand. I groan before turning over to see who was calling.

It was Josh, I accepted the call still laying on my bed. "Hello" I said tiredly "uh h-hey Tyler..um I was just wondering how things went.. Y-you aren't at school so I thought I'd call you." I smiled to myself after Josh finished talking

"Things went great Josh... I'm not at school because mom said I didn't have to go today but I have to go tomorrow." I said while getting up.

"Oh t-thats good... Did you know were in band class together?" he questioned. "Wait really?" I said as I grabbed a towel and headed to the bathroom. "Yeah... W-what instrument do you play in band?" he asked.

"Piano." I answered "t-thats sick dude... I play drums... W-well I didn't today I just kinda sat there." he said sounding a little disappointed

"Why did you just sit there" I was confused "i-i didn't know how to read sheet music so this dude max is supposed to teach me after school." he said.

"Oh... Well as much as I want to keep talking with you Josh I'm about to get a shower so how about I text you when I'm out?" I said trying to take my shirt off without knocking my phone out of my hand.

"O-okay sounds good.. Talk to you in a bit bye" I then said bye, hung up the phone, finished getting undressed and hopped in the shower.

A/N~ sorry this chapter is kinda sucky I'm going to make another chapter so there will be 2 updates today (well tomorrow but when this is posted it'll be today... I'm really just confusing my self right now... Its sunday as I'm writing this and it will be published on monday) okay now that thats cleared up I'm off to write chapter 11. Love you! Bye❤
