Rubik's Cube (Joshler)

Josh's POV ~

I was searching for my sock after Tyler tickled me. It must have fell off while I was flailing my legs around trying to get him to stop.

I looked over to the other side of the room and it was on the floor so I ran over and grabbed it. "Aha i-I found it" I said while I sat down on the bed trying to put it on when I realized Tyler was staring at me.

"....T-tyler?" no answer "TYLER! H-hey you there.... Earth to Tyler" I said the last part while waving my hand in front of his face "huh" he flinched
"Y-you were staring at me" I said as I pulled my pant leg down over my sock. "Oh...  S-sorry...I um ..sorry" he said rather quickly as his cheeks turned a shade of pink.

"I-its okay" I said giving him a questioning look. Why is he acting so weird. He was looking down at the bed playing with a loose string, he seemed like he was in deep thought yet again.

"T-tyler... You okay?" I said quietly as I moved a bit closer to him. "Yeah I'm..  I'm fine" he said before he stood up and grabbed his controller "what do you want to do now?" he asked while shutting off the game system and his tv.

"I-i dont know ...what time is it?" I asked looking around for a clock. I didn't want to be out too late and have my mom worrying. "Um almost 7:00pm" he said after looking at his phone. I should probably get going there's school tomorrow and I still need to get a shower.

"Umm.. D-do you think you could uhh drive me home... I-its getting pretty late my moms probably wondering where Im at." I slowly stood up. "Oh yeah of course" he said as he grabbed his sweater and keys.

I followed him downstairs then after we got our shoes on and he told his mom he'd be back in a few mins we went out to his car.

The drive to my house was pretty quiet except for the faint music playing in the background. Tyler still seemed kinda off ever since he was caught staring at me.

We pulled up to my house but before I got out I looked over to Tyler who was staring at me again. When he realized I looked at him he quickly moved his gaze away from me. "....Tyler.. Y-you sure you're okay?"

"Hmm? Oh yea I'm good" he said.
"....ok..... W-well text me if you need anything okay?" he gave a little nod and I waved goodbye after I said thank you.

I went inside said hi to my mom and grabbed a quick shower before I tried to go to sleep. I couldn't sleep tho. My mind was racing about Tyler why was he all of a sudden acting so weird?.. Did I do something or say something that upset him?.. Maybe that voice in his head came back... What did he say he named it? Blurryface? Something like that.

I decided to text him just to make sure everything was fine, even tho I asked him twice already and he said he was I just wasn't convinced.

Me: hey Tyler.... Um I know I probably sound annoying but are you okay? I mean you said you were just you seemed kinda off before I came home.

I waited patiently for him to answer but he didn't... Maybe he's just sleeping.

I set my phone back down and tried to sleep again. It wasn't long before I was passed out.

~ Tyler was laughing his perfectly imperfect teeth showing and his eyes bunched up. I couldn't help but smile. I loved seeing him smile and I loved hearing him laugh. They always made me feel happy no matter how I was feeling before. He slowly turned his head to look at me. He now had a content smile on his face as he looked into my eyes. Next thing I know he's sitting really close to me. Our noses almost touching just like they were that day with the dishes. Tyler slowly leaned forward. I closed my eyes. I could feel his breath on my lips. *BUZZ* huh? What was that? *BUZZ* I opened my eyes Tyler slowly started to fade away. No! Tyler! Come back! I reached my hands out to grab him. Tyler!*BUZZ* Tyler was completely gone now and all I could see was darkness. ~

I slowly opened my eyes. It was just a dream... But Tyler was going to kiss me in the dream.... What does that mean. (it means you want him to kiss you duh)Why did I want him to kiss me? (because you have a crush on him lol)I..i...I'm not.. I don't like boys not in that way anyway. Tyler's my friend... My best friend I can't be thinking like that about him. (but you know you want to)'I like girls (lol no you don't)... It was just a dream...(yea but you want it to be real) It means nothing'(keep telling yourself that) I kept repeating these phrases in my head as I reached over for my phone that was buzzing a few moments ago.

Tyler: oh hey Josh...
Yeah I'm okay
I think

Me: you think?

Tyler: yea I mean .. I don't know

Me: what do you mean you don't know... You can tell me whatever's going on you know.

Tyler: yea... I know... Just... I don't think I can.. I don't want you to hate me or think I'm weird or gross or something.

Me: i would never think that about you... Whats going on please tell me

Tyler: umm

Me: what?

Tyler: nothing I'm fine everything's fine

Me: no it's not I can tell there's something wrong.... Is it blurryface? Is he back?

Tyler: well

Me: well?

Tyler: I mean he's here... He's always here but that's not the main thing that's wrong

Me: ha so there is something wrong

Tyler: ...yea
But I can't tell you

Me: why not?

Tyler: I just can't

Me: is it something I did? :\
If it is whatever I did I'm sorry

Tyler: No! It's nothing you did... It's just...

Me: just what?

Tyler: its nothing really I'm fine

Me: Tyler come on please
I'm really worried

Tyler: ....well... Um ... Are you sure you want to know?

Me:......
Yes? I do... i think....
Why is it something bad?

Tyler: yes
I mean no
i mean...
It could be considered as bad... But its not bad
I'm really just confusing myself

Me: Tyler can you please just tell me
I'm extremely worried about you..... Do you want me to come over or something would it be easier to tell me that way?

Tyler: um no..... It would probably be harder that way

Me: oh

Tyler: ....

Me: ....?

Tyler: um I should get to bed theres school tomorrow talk to you later

Me:Tyler wait
Please tell me

A/N ~ ooooooo. What do you think Tyler was going to tell Josh? I mean its obvious so its kinda pointless leaving it like this but suspense and shit. I might make chapter 14 as well so y'all will be getting 3 updates tomorrow (its Sunday again and when I say tomorrow I mean Monday which will be today when I publish them.....
