Rubik's Cube (Joshler)

Tyler's POV ~

"I promise." Josh whispered as he pressed his lips to the top of my head.
I smiled to myself. What did I do to deserve Josh?

I fell asleep with Josh's arms around me and a smile on my face.

When I woke up I didn't feel Josh next to me. I looked around the room but he wasn't there. Maybe he's just upstairs? I slowly got up and stretched.

I could smell something cooking but I couldn't quite pinpoint what it was... Pancakes? Waffles? Something like that.

I walked upstairs and into the kitchen to see Josh making waffles.
"Good Morning" Josh said while walking over to me. "Good morning"
I answered.

Josh gave me a quick peck on the lips.
"Awwwwe." momma duns voice startled me and I jumped back as a blush appeared on my face.

"You two are so cute." she said while sitting down at the table with her coffee.

Josh just smiled and went back to making the waffles. "Are you hungry Tyler?" Josh asked. "Mmhmm" I replied sitting down with momma dun.

"Did you have a good sleep Tyler?"
Momma dun questioned. "Yes." I said as Josh placed a plate in front of me that had some waffles on it. "Good" she replied.

"Thank you." I said as Josh placed another kiss to the top of my head "your welcome."

Josh sat next to me with his own plate of waffles. I took a bite of mine and made a 'mmmm' sound. Josh chuckled "is it good?" I nodded my head and continued eating.

After we finished Josh put our dishes in the sink. "So what are you boys doing today?" momma dun asked.
"Umm I don't know.... Any ideas Tyler?" Josh questioned.

I shook my head "nope." momma dun stood up to put her coffee cup in the sink "hmm.. Josh have you been to the mall yet?"

"No.. I haven't had the time." he replied. "Well why don't you guys go there? You don't have to buy anything you could just look around but if you want to, I can give you some money." momma dun suggested.

Josh looked at me for approval. "Sure." I shrugged.

Me and Josh then got dressed, said goodbye to his mom, got money off his mom and hopped in my car. I'm driving because Josh doesn't know where the malls at and his mom needs her car today.

The drive to the mall consisted of hand holding, singing and laughing.
Until I told Josh we were getting close, after I told him he started looking anxious. I gave his hand a squeeze and ran my thumbs over his knuckles they way he does with me.

"Everything's gonna be okay.... If you feel it gets too much for you just tell me and we can leave... Okay?"
I said once I pulled into a parking spot and parked the car.
"But I don't want to ruin it for you because I want to leave."

"You won't ruin it for me. If you feel you need to leave then were leaving I don't care as long as I can make sure you're okay.... How about we come up with a word that when we say it means we want to leave?" I said looking at Josh. He nodded his head slowly.

"Okay what should the word be?"
I asked. He thought for a moment "truce?" he said rasing an eyebrow slightly.

"Sounds good.... You ready to go in?" I asked putting a hand on the door handle. He hesitantly nodded yes and we both got out reconnecting our hands after I locked the doors.

We went in and out of about half the stores before we started getting hungry. We went to the food court and got taco bell.

After we ate we continued walking around stores. We didn't buy anything yet besides food.

We went In and out of a few more stores before I spotted the arcade.
"Josh! Josh! Josh! Josh!" I said bouncing up and down excitedly
"Hmm?" he replied "can we go to the arcade pleeeaaassseee?"

He laughed "sure why not."
We made our way over to the arcade. I was practically dragging Josh.
"Hey slow down." he said laughing again. "Sorry"

We spent about a hour playing games and goofing off at the arcade. When we ran out of tokens we went to the prize desk to cash in our tickets. Josh gave me his and with mine and his put together I got a stuffed bear.

"What should we name him?" I asked as we walked out of the arcade and into the main corridor holding hands.

"Umm we sho-" Josh cut himself off and I felt his grip on my hand tighten. I looked at him, his eyes were wide and his jaw clenched. "Whats wrong?" I questioned.
Josh turned to face me "truce." he whispered.

"Okay" I was a little confused at what happened but I didn't care as long as he's okay I don't care. We kept walking towards the exit where my car was parked until someone yelled behind us and Josh froze.

A/N~ I have a cold and my nose is stuffed and my voice keeps cracking. Anyway I'm not sure when the next time I'll be able to update is but before I got I'm going to be starting a new book. I'm not abandoning this one I'll just have 2 that I'll be working on. The new one is called Undefined and you should check it out. Okie well imma sleep. Love you! Bye❤
