INT. BOOKSTORE - LATE MORNING
DRAY WALKS DOWN A LADDER, HANDS A BOOK TO A CUSTOMER THEN MRS. STINGER HANDS HIM AN ENVELOPE.
[Mrs. Stinger]
Time sure does fly, doesn't it? I'm sure that you'll be returning to school in a little while, so I thought I'd just give you your last paycheck a little early.
[Dray]
Thanks.
[Mrs. Stinger]
No problem. So, how was it working here?
[Dray]
It was great really, can't complain. There was that little hiccup a while ago but I don't think I could have found a better job.
[Mrs. Stinger]
That's great to hear. I know that it can be kind of slow around here but I'm glad that I hired you. You always find something around here that needs to be done. In the past, a lot of the part-time help I've hired didn't really take things seriously but you really put the rest of them to shame.
[Dray]
Thanks, it's just that I've seen what it's like to work in fast food or the grocery stores and I knew that if I could help it that I would rather work someplace like this.
[Mrs. Stinger]
Well, I hope school goes well for you and if you find time and still want to work, I'll be glad to hire you back.
[Dray]
Okay, I'll keep that in mind.
MRS. STINGER PATS DRAY ON THE SHOULDER THEN STARTS BACK TO HER OFFICE. DRAY THEN CONTINUES TO WORK AROUND THE BOOKSTORE.

EXT. FAT PENGUIN TOY FACTORY - EARLY NOON
LEATHERNECK SITS IN A LUXURY VEHICLE ALONG WITH MS. CORDWELL, HUDSON, AND WATERBURY.
[Leatherneck]
I just don't understand how something like this could happen. How in the hell does this broad sneak into my facility, plant a bomb, and just walk away like nothing happened?
LEATHERNECK SLAMS HIS FIST DOWN ON THE CONSOLE HOLDING HIS DRINK AND NEARLY SPILLS THE DRINK.
[Leatherneck]
That whole investment has gone up in flames and the cops are swarming the place.
[Hudson]
What's the likely hood that we got all the contraband out before the attack happened?
[Leatherneck]
It's not likely. Luckily, we hadn't gotten everything settled. However, we need to find out who these people are before they screw up anything else. I also heard about Shade being there, how's he caught wind about our operations?
[Waterbury]
As of right now, there's no telling.
[Leatherneck]
Ah, it doesn't matter. We need to deal with him as well. Waterbury, get some of your guys to come back here in the dead of night to extract anything salvageable. Hudson, you and your guys patrol the streets looking for whoever the hell this is! I want some results by tomorrow!
[Hudson]
Boss, that's a tall order.
[Leatherneck]
