SHADE PATROLS THE DOWNTOWN AREA, HEARS THE SOUND OF A CAR CRASH, AND FOLLOWS THE SOUNDS OF WHERE THE COMMOTION CAME FROM. SHADE ARRIVES AT THE CAR THAT HAS CRASHED INTO A LIGHT POLE AND OPENS THE DOOR SEEING THAT THE DRIVER'S UNCONSCIOUS FROM THE AIRBAG GOING OFF.

A COUPLE OF OTHER PEOPLE APPROACH THE SCENE.

I think so. I don't know exactly what caused him to crash but I can see him breathing. Probably wasn't ready for that airbag. Stay with him and call an ambulance.

SHADE HEARS THE SOUNDS OF PEOPLE SCREAMING DOWN THE STREET.

SHADE RUNS DOWN THE STREET, ROUNDS THE CORNER, AND FINDS A MUTATED MAN RUNNING DOWN THE STREET THROUGH PEDESTRIANS.

THE MUTATED MAN TACKLES SHADE TO THE GROUND, ATTEMPTS TO PUNCH HIM BUT SHADE SINKS INTO THE GROUND TO AVOID THE ATTACK CAUSING THE MUTATED MAN TO PUNCH THE GROUNDBREAKING HIS HAND. SHADE STANDS UP BEHIND THE MUTATED MAN, THROWS HIM TO THE GROUND THEN PUNCHES HIM IN THE FACE KNOCKING HIM OUT.

This must be one of Rambler's victims that got away. Rambler likes to think he's a genius but he's just throwing wet spaghetti at the ceiling and seeing what sticks. But that's one down at least.
SHADE WRAPS THE INFECTED MAN IN CHAINS TO SECURE HIM THEN THROWS HIM OVER HIS SHOULDER. SHADE USES HIS PHONE TO CALL TORIA.

Toria, I found one of Rambler's victims. He's a lot stronger than I thought he'd be. Must be the effects of the mutation. Anyway, I'm gonna bring him by the station.

Okay, I'll let someone know you're coming by. There should be at least a few more out there somewhere. Hopefully, we'll be able to track them down soon.

It's top of the list as of right now. Has there been any word of the victims taken to the hospital?

No, or rather there's nothing that I've heard. Hopefully not especially since they're in the hospital.

I guess I'll stay optimistic about it too.
