The Assasin of the Mist

Zabuza appeared behind Kakashi Sensei as he slashed him with his blade. Kakashi Sensei's body turned into water too and it turned out that it was a water clone too. Kakashi Sensei reappeared behind Zabuza with a kunai held up to his neck.

Zabuza began to chuckle as he said,"Nice try but I'm not easy to fool." The Zabuza that was speaking turned out to be another water clone as the real Zabuza stood behind Kakashi Sensei and captured him in his water prison jutsu.

He began creating another water clone as he was speaking to us about what a ninja really is. Naruto was kicked away by him and slide back and something changed to the ground and I noticed that his headband flew off.

I gritted my teeth and started running towards Zabuza with a kunai in my hand. My kunai clashed with Zabuza's blade, but I quickly jumped up and was about to roundhouse kick him in the face, but he quickly blocked it. The impact of my kick sent him skidding back a little but before he could regain his composure I performed some hand signs.

"Wind style: Air bullets." I aimed it directly at Zabuza trying to land a blow on him.

"(Y/n) get the bridge builder along with everyone else and run. You can't win this fight!" Yelled Kakashi Sensei.

I stopped fighting and looked at my teammates, but there was a look in Sasuke's eyes indicating he wanted to fight.

I nodded my head at him and as Sasuke tried attacking Zabuza, he was caught by the throat and flung away, but I managed to catch him and put him down safely.

"Fire style: Fireball jutsu." I let out a medium sized fireball but he evaded the attack and from the corner of my eyes, I spotted Naruto running towards Zabuza.

Naruto was only thrown back and as he stood up on his feet, he retrieved his headband that was lying nearby.

Sasuke and I regrouped with Naruto and as we were all together, Naruto said, "I have a plan." He quietly told us about the plan he had thought of and we decided to give it a shot.

Before we began our attack Zabuza was telling us about his past at the graduation exam, how he killed many people. Our eyes widened and while we had our guard down, Zabuza ran towards us and was about to punch Sasuke but my Sharingan had immediately appeared and I was able to track the enemy's movements and blocked his attack.

"So I see we have another Sharingan user," said Zabuza while he was about to swing his blade at me. I backed away before I got cut in half and stood next to Naruto. We both started creating shadow clones and had our clones jump on Zabuza and had them hold him down but they were thrown off and disappeared once his balde connected with them.

Naruto threw Sasuke a windmill shuriken which he proceeded to throw but instead of attacking the water clone, it went towards the real Zabuza.

While it was heading towards the real Zabuza, I quickly followed after. Zabuza managed to catch the windmill shuriken and dodge the other one too. The windmill shuriken vanished and then appeared Naruto who threw a kuna behind Zabuza.

Before the kunai could pierce him, he let go of the water prison which freed Kakashi Sensei. While Naruto distracted Zabuza, I crept up behind him and slashed him across the back. He turned around and was about to grab me by the throat, but Kakashi Sensei kicked his hand away.

Kakashi Sensei and Zabuza proceeded to create a Water Dragon Jutsu and before Naruto could get caught in the water, I grabbed hold of him by slinging his arm over my shoulder and leapt over to regroup with the rest of the team.

While watching those two fight I noticed some movement and I whipped my head in that direction. There was someone standing on a branch wearing a mask, but that person disappeared in a second.

'Who was that?'

That same masked person appeared but they threw senbon needles at Zabuza's neck. Kakashi Sensei went ahead to check his pulse and there was no sign of life.

"Thank you, I've been tracking Zabuza for a long time waiting for this chance to finally take him down," said the person.

Kakashi Sensei noted that person was a tracker ninja from the Village Hidden in the Mist.

Naruto was frustrated and angered that someone around our age was able to take down Zabuza with ease.

"I must take my leave," said the masked person who appeared to look like a boy. He retrieved Zabuza's body and disappeared.

I sighed in relief since this whole thing was now over and we were going to continue our mission until Kakashi Sensei suddenly collapsed. We all rushed towards him and saw that he was out cold.

"One of us will have to carry him to Tazuna's house, any volunteers?" I asked while looking at both Naruto and Sasuke. They both simultaneously agreed and began to argue as to who was stronger to carry him while you I rolled my eyes at their childish antics.

"Never mind, both of you just carry him. I'm sure you guys wouldn't manage on your own," I bluntly said while they glared at me.

They did as told and carried him all the way to our destination.

Once we entered the house, Tazuna led us to a room where Kakashi Sensei could rest in. The boys laid Kakashi Sensei down and after that, we were escorted to another room where we could rest and recover as well.
