The Forest of Death

"Why us..and what secrets are you talking about?"

"You both posses extraordinary powers. As for your clan (Y/n)..the reason for their death was..for vengeance. In the past your clan killed numerous people from others clans to secure themselves from danger. That's until the Akatsuki killed them off because your clan killed members from their clan as well as their families. But also seeking for your power. Don't you desire revenge on them?"

"Shut up, that's not true!" Yet your voice held a tint of uncertainty, pondering if it was actually the truth. Maybe it is true.. A single tear escaped from your eye and dripped down your chin. Emotions and memories ran through your mind about your clan. You felt a surge of power course through your body and soon to your eyes.

"You've finally awakened your Rinnegan hm. Well that just gives me another reason to do this!" His neck had outstretched towards your direction and bit your neck. An unbelievable amount of pain was sent through your body as you clutched onto your neck.

"(Y/n)!" Sasuke saw the pain etched on your face but was bitten as well. He too felt the immense pain that was coursing through his body.

You were panting heavily, enduring the pain and crawling towards Orochimaru.

"In time we'll meet again, seeking me for power," he said while vanishing.

You felt your eyelids getting heavy but you turned your head a little and saw Sasuke collapsed, unconscious. Your vision soon became hazy as pitch darkness consumed you.

*Timeskip*

Groggily opening your eyes, you heard voices from a distance. Turning to your left and right you saw Sasuke and Naruto besides you. You noticed a strange marking on Sasuke's neck along with purple chakra emitting from the mark.

Then it all hit you as you remembered the events from earlier. You sat upright and noticed Sakura and Lee were being defended by team 10. Steadily getting on your feet you noticed black marks begin to appear on your skin.

Everyone's eyes landed on your form while you started approaching the battle. Staring at all three of the sound ninjas, you felt a sense of excitement course through your body just thinking about fighting them.

"You guys can stop now, I'll handle it from here," you said to team 10. I'm not in my best condition but this power could help me for now.

"Alright let's see how you handle this since you think you're so tough. Slicing Sound Waves."

Slammimg your hands on the ground you created a mud wall to shield yourself. Behind me was the other male sound ninja and used the weapon on his arm to project sound waves at you. Breathing a fireball at him, you jumped away but a couple of kunais pierced your body.

Pulling out the kunais you carefully aimed and threw it at each one of them. Creating a few shadow clones you sent them to distract the sound ninjas. Activating your Rinnegan, you pondered about who'd be your first victim.

Outstretching your arm, facing it towards the male ninja who's name was Zaku. "Universal pull." Pulling him towards you, you grabbed ahold of his neck and slammed him on the ground creating a dent on the hard surface.

Flipping his body over, you unsheathed a kunai and stabbed him in the back along with his hands. Placing your foot on his shoulder you yanked his arms back trying to dislocate one of them.

A yelp of agony escaped his lips as you heard a cracking sound from his arm but before you could dislocate the other one, Dosu made his way behind you hitting you with great force across the surface.

Lying in the ground you felt the power you once had leaving your body. The marks had disappeared and your energy was draining but you still had to fight. Going on your knees you were about to stand up until you felt someone kick you from behind.

Someone's foot was forcefully placed against your back while they grabbed your arms behind your back.

"Now let's see how you like the feeling of having your arm dislocated." Adding more pressure on his foot he began trying to dislocate your arm.

In a few seconds you felt the pressure on your arms loosen and you noticed the direction he was looking at. Standing there was an awakened Sasuke with the same markings you had along with the foul chakra surrounding him.

The first one his eyes made contact with was with yours. Noticing the state you were in,he reacted with extreme speed and went behind Zaku to grab his arms.

Having your arms released you felt a sense of relief, not having to endure that pain. "(Y/n), this sound ninja tried hurting you, so I'll just put him in his place for what he's done to you." Sasuke began to smirk as he successfully dislocated Zaku's arm. A scream of agony echoed throughout the forest.

Was I like that? That power almost caused me to do what Sasuke just did.

Sasuke walked over to Dosu and Kin, grabbing them by their throats and lifting them off the ground. They were gasping for air once Sasuke tightened his grasp on their throats.

Walking over towards him you placed your hand on his shoulder so he could look at your face."That's enough Sasuke. You don't have to kill them, just return to your normal self."

He hesitantly loosened his grip and dropped them on the ground. Slowly the markings were beginning to disappear but his body was drained as he slumped on the ground.

Dosu went to retrieve his unconscious teammates and took his leave not wanting to get involved with us at the moment.

"Sasuke are you okay?!" Cried out Sakura while kneeling besides him. Leaving Sasuke in her care you went on ahead to check on Naruto. Shikamaru and Choji were standing in front of a sleeping Naruto, listening to his sleep talking.

"This battle was a drag wasn't it Shikamaru," you said with a light laugh.

"I agree with you on that but we managed to survive this troublesome battle." Soon, Shikamaru and Choji were able to wake Naruto up and he was full of energy as always.

"(Y/n) you're all beaten up, what happened?"

"Trying to save and defend you guys that's what happened," you said with a nudge to his arm. Saying your farewells to team 10 and Guy's team you headed on back to your own teammates.

"Well the Chunin exams are still happening and you guys still need your next scroll. I'll let you guys keep continuing while I'm going to start heading to the tower. I'll see you guys later."

Making your way towards the tower your mind was clouded with thoughts about the markings you and Sasuke had. I just hope we can keep it in control and not rely on it. Now we have another similarity but yet again I'm being pursued for my power.
