CHAPTER 53: Hide And Seek

He took it upon himself to close the space between us. He tried to pull away but I put my hand on the back of his neck keeping him in place. He smiled.

"Josh the food." he said into the kiss. I pulled away and flipped it before getting back into the same position I was in with my forehead against his again.

"You boys are up early." mom said as she entered the kitchen. Me and Tyler didn't break eye contact. "Couldn't sleep." I said. She hummed.

Mom walled over to the stove and took the omelet out of the pan placing it on a plate. "You two don't seem to be interested in finishing breakfast so I'll do it." she said starting to make another one.

Me and Tyler stayed in the same spot, sharing the odd kiss, until mom interrupted. "Come on you too love birds go sit down and eat." she said. I smiled and helped Tyler down off the counter.

We ate then washed our dishes while mom fed my siblings. We also made sure to feed Bella.

Me and Tyler went into the living room and watched Tv for a few hours. I fell asleep.

When I woke up I was facing toward the back of the couch. I had a little bit of drool running out of the corner of my mouth so I used my sleeve to wipe it away.

I noticed Tyler wasn't in the room, but mom was. "Hey mom? Where's Tyler?" I asked sitting up and stretching. "He wanted taco bell." she said. "Yeah I remember." I chuckled. "Remember what?"

"This morning at like 6 he said he wanted taco bell but I told him it didn't open til 11." I said while pulling out my phone to text him. Mom nodded.

Me: hey baby

Tyler: hey sleepy head

Me: when will you be back?

Tyler: in like 2 minutes

Me: Tyler Joseph don't tell me your texting while driving

Tyler: I'm not I'm parked on the side of the road so I could answer you

Me: okay good

Tyler: okay see you in a few minutes

Me: alright love you drive safe <3

Tyler: love you too <3

Tyler arrived back at the house after a few minutes with a bunch of taco bell for everyone. After we ate we went outside in the back yard with my siblings and played hide and seek. Because what 17 year old doesn't want to play hide and seek.

I've been sitting in the same hiding spot for 10 minutes.... Are they even still playing?

Me: ...

Tyler: what?

Me: are you guys still playing or what?

Tyler: yeah we can't find you... Where the hell are you?

Me: in my hiding spot

Tyler: which is where?

Me: I can't tell you cause that's cheating but hurry up and find me my legs hurt from crouching

Tyler:.... Hmmm crouching huh?

Me: yes

Tyler: I think I know where you are

Me: then come get me

Sure enough Tyler came running to where I was. I was crouching behind the garbage bin by the shed.

"I FOUND H-" Tyler started to scream so I pulled him down and covered his mouth with my hand. "Don't tell them where my hiding spot is. I need this place for future games." I whispered.
He just licked my hand.

"Was that necessary?" I asked wiping his spit on my pants. "No I regret doing it. Your hand tastes disgusting." he said with a grossed out kind of face. "That's what you get for licking me."

He then kissed me. I of course kissed back. Tyler pulled away and licked up the side of my cheek. I squealed and he ran away laughing.

"Tyler!" I screamed chasing after him. "Get him!" Tyler yelled and pointed at me. Ashley and Abby ran at me tackling me to the ground. Jordan was laughing at me.

"Tickle him!" Tyler instructed then he and my sisters started tickling me. "NO!!! STOPP! TYLLLERRRR! MAKE THEM STOP!!" I laughed and squirmed around on the ground. "Never!"

"I can't breathe stop." I said still giggling like crazy. "Okay fine guys stop so the man can breathe." Tyler said and they listened. I sat up and tried to catch my breath.

"You okay now?" Tyler asked and I nodded. "Okay cool you guys can tickle him again." he smirked. "No!!!" I scrambled to my feet and ran away.

I ran to the front of the house and back around to the backyard from the opposite side that I left from. My siblings and Tyler were still laughing.

I ran up behind Tyler and threw him over my shoulder and spun around. "Josh! Put me down!" he laughed. "Nope. Your mine."

"Help me!" he yelled. My sisters started chasing after me and I ran toward the far end of the yard before turning and running back toward the house. "Josh! Your gonna drop me!" he screeched. "I would never drop you."

I spotted mom taking pictures from the step and smiled. Then I moved Tyler so his legs were wrapped around my waist, my hands under his butt to support him. Then I kissed him.

"Awww that one is definitely being framed." mom said. I smiled and carefully put Tyler back on the ground.

(A/N ~ my nan and papa get home in a week and I'm excited cause I haven't seen them in 6 months. Allsssoooo my friend is buying me taco bell later and I'm so excited cause it's gonna be my first time having it. Bless my friend. Love you! Bye❤
