CHAPTER 54: Lost

My cheeks heated and my eyes widened as he continued sucking on my neck. Am I ready to do that? Do I really want to do that right now? I decided I didn't and pushed Josh back the slightest. "I um-" Josh cut me off by kissing me rather roughly.

I turned my head to the side only for him to grab the side of my head and kiss me again. "Josh." I tried pushing him back again but he wouldn't move. "Stop." I said trying to stay calm as he tried to take my shirt off. "JOSH!" I screamed shoving him backwards harshly.

He looked at me with wide eyes."I.. Uh... I'm..i...I-i'm s-sorry...I-i d-don't know w-why I did t-that." he stuttered.

I stared at him for a few seconds before pushing past him and going downstairs. He followed. "Ty? I'm sorry." he said trying to catch up with me. I went into the bedroom and closed the door behind me forcefully letting Josh know I want to be alone.

I laid down on the bed and stared at the ceiling. "Tyler?... Can I come in?" Josh's voice was muffled from the door being closed. "No go away." I said softly but loud enough for him to hear. "Tyler.. I just want to talk." he said. "No. There's nothing to talk about. Just leave me alone. I want to be left alone."

I heard him sigh then I heard the sound of someone walking up the stairs. I took a deep breath. I need to do something to get my mind off what just happened.

I find my phone and call Melanie.

"Hey TyGuy whats up?"
"Are you busy? Can we go do something?"
"No I'm not busy and sure what do you want to do?"
"I don't know I just need to distract myself."
"From what? What happened?"
"Nothing important just can you take me out for a bit?"
"Yeah I'll be there soon alright?"
"Okay see you then."
"Bye."
"Bye."

I hung up the phone and grabbed my wallet, shoving the both of them in my pocket. I sat on the bed til Mel texted me that she was here.

I walked up stairs and put my shoes on. I went to open my door when Josh came out of the living room. "Where are you going?" he asked with a worried expression. "Out." I answered. "... Your not leaving again are you?" he asked. "No I'll be back later."

I didn't say anything else I just walked out the door and got in Mel's car.

"Woah." she said as she started driving away. "What?" I asked. "I can practically feel the tension radiating off you. What happened?"

I sighed. "Josh did something that upset me." Mel glanced over at me. "What did he do? I swear I'll turn this car around and go beat his ass." she said gripping the steering wheel tightly. "No. Don't go after him please."

"Ok... But what did he do?" she asked. "He started kissing me and touching me and stuff.. And he wouldn't stop when I told him too.. He apologised though." I told her. "He what!?"

"Its not a big deal Mel.. Just forget I said anything." I looked out the window. "Not a big deal?! Ty it's a huge deal!" she screamed. "Mel please don't make me regret telling you."

"Okay... He apologised right?" she asked and I nodded. "Okay.." she breathed.

I waved goodbye to Mel and walked into the house. I went into the living room where I thought Josh would be but only his siblings were there.

"Hey.. Where's Josh?" I asked. "I thought he was with you." Jordan said confused. "Well he wasn't."

I took out my phone and called him.

"Hello?"
"Josh?"
"Oh hi."
"Where are you?"
"I don't know."
"How can you not know? Are you drunk?"
"No."
"Are you high then?"
"No Tyler."
".... Then how don't you know where you are?"
"Because I don't. I'm lost."
"Lost? Lost where?"
"Somewh- in- forest" the line started cutting out.
"The forest behind the house?"
"Ye-ah."
"Why are you in the forest?"
"- needed t- think."
"About?"
"S-tuf-f."
"What stuff?"
"Stuff that-appened ear-lier."
"Oh...."
"I'm s-orry Ty. I don't- kn- w- into me"
"What? Your breaking up?"
"G-ve me a s-ec."
"Okay.."
It was quiet for a few minutes.
"Better?"
"Yeah but what did you say?"
"I said I don't know what got into me."
"Oh."
"I'm sorry."
"Stop apologizing and just come home please."
"Um... Ok... Uhh... I don't know what way leads back to the house."
"Ugh Josh."
"Ummm I think it was this way."
"Okay."
It was quiet again for a while.
"Okay yeah I see the house."
"Okay."
He hung up and I went out to the back step with the kids following behind me.

Josh appeared out of the trees and walked toward the step. "Ty I'm really sorry." was the first thing he said. I rolled my eyes and kissed him.

Josh's siblings made obnoxious kissing sounds and whistled causing Josh to pull away. "Shut up!" he yelled. "Babe chill."

He looked at me with a surprised expression. "Never thought I'd hear you ever call me babe." he said. "Why not?" I asked. "I don't know you just don't seem like the type to call people babe."

"What does it bother you..babe?" I said and he smirked. "Actually no I like it." he whispered pulling me close and starring me in the eyes.  I blushed and looked away.

"Oooooooooo." the girls said in high pitched voices while Jordan laughed. "Alright bedtime!" Josh yelled walking into the house.
