Road to Tenchi Bridge

Sakura had stepped into the hot spring as well but from the other side we could hear Naruto's loud voice. From the top of his lungs he yelled out unaware, "DAMMIT, MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS! YOU'RE ALWAYS ALL THIS AND ALL THAT, YOU'RE SO ANNOYING!"

The females around us began to giggle at his outburst while you and Sakura immersed yourselves in the soothing water to hide your embarrassment.

'Keep your voice down Naruto!'  We came to relax at the moment, not overhear about your feelings.

About 40 minutes later, you finished basking in the water and informed Sakura you'd be heading out now. You wrapped the towel around your body and headed inside the changing room.

You slipped into your undergarments and grabbed a baby blue yukata to wear that was hanging on a nearby rack. You grabbed your folded clothes from the cubby and carried them to your room upstairs. You and Sakura were suppose to share the same room so you took the chance to choose the bed you wanted. You placed your clothes on farthest bed which was by the window.

You climbed up on your bed and lied back, your head meeting the comfy, silk pillow. Your eyes gazed up at the ceiling but they soon wandered onto your ninja pouch. You started to remember something as you sit upright and your hand reaches over to remove your ninja pouch.

From inside, you found your clan's scroll and thought it'd be a good time to finally read the contents of its jutsus. Opening the scroll up the first words you skimmed over were Ninja Art: Divine Punishmnent...

*One hour later*

"(Y/n), Captain Yamato said it's time to eat," said Sakura as she peeked her head in from the door. Her eyes wandered to the scroll in your hands and before she could ask about it, you slammed your scroll shut and hid it behind you.

"Oh yeah, I'll be down in a minute." One of her eyebrows were raised in confusion but she kept her mouth shut and left.

There was definitely a lot you had learned from the scroll and you were definitely going to test some of those jutsus out once you had the chance. You placed the scroll back inside your ninja pouch and headed downstairs.

You slid open the Shōji door and saw everyone else kneeling on small cushion with a gourmet of food placed on the table. Food was truly a delightful sight. You took your place at the end of the table with Sai on your right side and Naruto on your left.

"Thank you for the food," we all said simultaneously as broke our chopsticks in half and began to dig in.

*20 minutes later*

All five of you were satisfied with the food as you rubbed your bloated stomach.

"Kakashi Sensei never treats us to dinner like this."

"Yeah, if this is how every mission is going to be then I don't mind having you as our new captain," exclaimed Naruto.

"You've got that right," added in Sakura.

"We'll spend the night here and discuss the details for the mission tomorrow."

The four of us nodded our heads before we stood up and began heading to our rooms.

"Goodnight Naruto...Sai..." You glanced at him before stepping inside the room. You flopped onto your bed and made your way under the light blue sheets.

"Well goodnight Sakura."

"Night (Y/n)," you heard her say from her side of the room.

*Next morning*

The ray of sunlight was beaming in through the window, onto your face causing you to scrunch and rub your eyes awake from your slumber. You rised up  from the bed and started folding the sheets. Once you were done, you quietly made your way to the bathroom for a shower while Sakura was still asleep.

It took you around 20 minutes for you to finish showering and getting dressed in your ninja attire. Stepping back out into the room, you slid open the window by your side of the bed to let the small breeze dry your (h/l) (h/c) hair. Watching your surroundings, you noticed Sai was already awake and walking down a flight of stairs, not too far from where your room was.

Jumping out from the window, you silently shut the window and crept up closer to get a better view of what he was doing. Once you were a few feet away, you could see a sketch book in his hands along with his own abstract artwork.

"Your artwork it pretty good. Never thought you'd be able to create something like that, you know since you're so heartless."

"Do you need something or what?" He asked while setting aside the charcoal in his hand.

"I just came by to see what you were up to."

"Seeing as in we aren't on good terms I don't need for you to come check up on me like a child."

"Hey, I'm trying to be nice to you."

"Kindness won't get you anywhere in the shinobi world. You'll only suffer." He resumed to his artwork and that's when Naruto and Sakura came by to interrupt you two.

"What are you two doing out here?"

"Yeah (Y/n), what are you doing out here with a guy like this," he spat out. "When obviously you can be around someone like me." Naruto approached us even closer and glanced at Sai's artwork.

"Didn't think a cold hearted guy would have any sense of emotions. Hmph, there's nothing special about that drawing."

"You're right, just like in between your legs," said Sai ever so casually. Naruto's face was flushed with embarrassment but let out a low growl. You and Sakura aimlessly pretended to look around, acting as if you didn't hear anything. This was awkward.

"Didn't think you'd be so interested in Naruto like that especially his er...genitals..."

"(Y/n)!!" Exclaimed naruto in an embarrassed tone while he covered his now bright tomato face with his hand.

"I don't swing that way." He collected his stuff and started placing them in his backpack.

"Hey why don't we start going now. Captain Yamato did want us to head out now," interrupted Sakura trying to break any tension that would arise

"I guess so." We all started to head out through the entrance of the inn and saw Captain Yamato waiting for us outside.

"It's about time. We need to start leaving now." He walked on ahead with us trailing right behind him.

*Many hours later*

"We'll set up camp here." It was almost nightfall and we were somewhat lose to reaching Tenchi Bridge.

"Wood style: Four Pillar House jutsu." Wood began to emerged from the ground and formed into a two story house. We were all impressed with his creation and eagerly went inside.

Removing your shoes inside, you all walked up the stairs and came into a large room full of empty space.

"This is way better than sleeping outside!"

"That's true." We dropped our backpacks on the ground and took a seat until Captain Yamato called us over.

"Everyone, we'll be discussing the details about the mission now so we can be prepared for tomorrow." He placed a candle in the center of the room as we all sat down around him. You were seated against the wall with your arms crossed, waiting for him to begin.

"Sakura, I need to know everything about Sasori." She began to inform us about her battle with him and even the smallest insignificant details that Capatin Yamato wanted to know about.

"It's important that I knew everything since we don't lnow if it could be a trap so I'll be impersonating him." Basically that's all that would happen and we'd have to sit back and watch the scene unfold as the backup team, unless there happens to be any unnecessary trouble then that's when we'll jump in and help.

Everything has play out smoothly or else..it's a fight they're going to get.
