Without thinking I blurted out, "Face me like a man! Why are you-" A hand was clamped over my mouth muffling my words and I darted my eyes over to see Kakashi Sensei.

"Easy there, think rationally and don't be doing anything rash. We have him outnumbered right now," he calmly said.

"Oh dear. Am I being underestimated?" The tone in his high pitch voice made it seem like he wasn't worried at the fact that he was outnumbered. He placed his forefinger on his mask and locked eyes with me for a split second before he heard Naruto's voice coming from above him.

With a Rasengan in hand, he tried to demolish him but the masked man stepped aside avoiding his Rasengan.

As we began to analyze the interaction between Naruto's shadow clone trying to land a hit on Tobi, I began to prepare a few hand signs.

"Well, let's see how he does against a fireball." I took in a deep breathe and blew out...air? No fire was coming out of my mouth and I attempted the hand signs again before I repeated the process, but it wasn't working.

"What the hell, I know I have enough chakra to do a fireball jutsu!" I stared down at my hands wondering why it wasn't working.

"Ha, that's a good one," piped up Tobi as placed a hand under his chin before a light bulb appeared on top of his head and he exclaimed "Aha! Ninja art: Air no jutsu right! I really should learn to use that one!"

I gritted my teeth in anger at his little mockery and could feel my Sharingan begin to surface.

"Ooh scary!" Cried out Tobi in fear as a shiver ran down his spine from seeing my Sharingan and hid behind the tree before he poked his head out. "What are you gonna do? Blow more air at me?"

I opened my mouth before shutting it as I gave him a glare. Kiba and Naruto snorted and I directed my glare at them, but they instantly turned their head away from me, trying to maintain a neutral face, but on the inside I knew they were trying not to laugh.

I turned my gaze away from those two and stared up at the masked man who proudly stared down at me with his one visible eye. I knew that underneath that stupid mask of his he was smirking.

'He's gonna get it now.'

Before I took a step forward, I felt a large, warm hand on my back lightly push me forward. But the same thing happened to Naruto and we both turned around to face our friends and at the same time we each said,

"What?"

"Who pushed me?"

Our friends stared at us with a brow raised before Sakura spoke up, "What are you talking about?"

I turned to face Naruto and asked, "You felt that right? A hand on your back?"

"Yeah I did! I knew I wasn't crazy!"

"Maybe it's a sign to go fight or get killed. Either one," said Kiba with a shrug of his shoulders.

"Ahem." Clearing his throat Kakashi Sensei gained our attention. "We have more important matters at hand right now than some hand or spirit touching your back."

"Right, sorry." Naruto and I both said.

"Seeing as he was able to avoid Naruto's attack earlier, I want everyone to get into formation B."

We got into position and it started with Sakura throwing Naruto in the air to distract Tobi, but was secretly preparing a Rasengan from above. Kiba, Sakura, Hinata and I went in to deal with Tobi in hand to hand combat while Shino, Kakashi Sensei, Captain Yamato and Sai used this opportunity to get past him.

Kiba and Akamaru tried tackling him, but Tobi ducked just in time. Hinata, Sakura, and I went in together to attack him simultaneously.

Hinata tried striking him from his left but he evaded it and kicked her away. Naruto was coming down from midair with his Rasengan in hand and stayed by Sakura who was about to punch him from midair but Tobi jumped back avoiding the two of them. I quickly appeared to his right and threw a punch at him, aiming to knock off that mask, but he side stepped me and joyfully cried out "Olé!"

I skidded to a stop and turned around to punch him, but he caught ahold of my fist in his hand. I narrowed my eyes at him and used my free hand to throw throw an upper cut but my fist went right through his mask.

"Huh?" I was confused and it was the first time he had shown this.

He grabbed my wrists and threw me to the side as I saw him disappear inside the branch.

Seeing that he was gone, I used this chance to move forward in the direction that Sasuke was at. I jumped off the tree branch and started moving on foot. I glanced behind me and saw that none of my friends were coming and each of one of them were stopped by Tobi.

I turned around to face straight ahead and was running through the shaded forest when Tobi popped out of the ground right in front of me which caused me to skid to a halt before I almost crashed and fell on top of him.

"Hi-yah!" He whacked me with a stick across the face which left me staring at him with a brow raised and dumbfounded. "I've got it! My new jutsu is Ninja Art: Whack-a-Mole Jutsu!"

"What happened to whipping out your chains huh. You need to resort to a mere stick now," I lowly said enough for only him to hear.

"Can't have me revealing myself just yet," he said no longer speaking in that childish tone. But resorted to talking in that normal deep voice of his.

From behind me, my teammates and friends were approaching and Tobi noticed this. He changed his voice back to before and changed the whole conversation back to my last comment.

"Chains?! Where?!" He frantically looked around and vigorously shook his head. "Chains and whips don't excite Tobi."

"What kind of conversation is this!" Bellowed out Naruto as he made his way next to me.

"Sounds kinky," casually commented Sai and I let out a sigh while everyone became flustered by his words.

'Such terrible timing.'
