I was laying in bed, my head on Daniels chest feeling it slowly rise and fall while hid hand traced his hand up and down my spine. He kissed the top of my head, I looked up putting my arm around his middle. He put his other hand on my arm and let it there.
"I missed you"
we both said at the same time, we laughed at our spontaneous words.
"it was a stressful week and I was sad I couldn't see you"
he whispered
"you have no idea"
I said hugging him, he rolled on top of me and put his head in the crook of my neck. Daniel and I have been 'dating' for a year now. Well we've liked each other and basically been a couple for a year but we couldn't really put a label on it since he wasn't supposed to have a public relationship.
It was part of his contract, we tried to just ignore each other but we couldn't deny it. The few times his managers or people from his label found out or spotted us they were pissed to say the least.
Every-time Daniel tried to talk to them and explain that we were keeping it private and it didn't interfere with his career but they never agreed.
I kissed his head and heard footsteps walking in the hallway, he lifted his head kissing me before sitting upright.
There was a knock at the door, Daniel told whoever to come in. Corbyn peaked his head in and said hi.
"people from the label are coming over to review the album"
Daniel sighed annoyingly because that meant that I had to leave. Corbyn nodded feeling bad for us, they guys were supportive of us since they also thought it was a stupid rule. He left again and Daniel looked at me.
"I'm so sorry-"
"it's fine"
I got up and put my well his jacket on, I slipped my shoes on.
"please don't be mad-"
"i'm not"
"you are, I know when you are"
"look i'm not mad, I just wish it was different"
"trust me, me too. I've talked to them countless times but they-"
"Daniel it's okay"
I grabbed my key and went downstairs, I knew he was a bit shocked. I never leave without hugging or kissing him but to be honest I was indeed annoyed and kinda sad.
I got in my car and went home.
Daniel p.o.v.
She grabbed her keys and left. I was shocked, she always says bye. I sat there with my head in my hands for a while before the door opened.
"you good bro?"
I looked up and saw Jonah, he came and sat next to me.
"where's y/n?"
"she left"
"oh...because of the label?"
"mhm"
"you both okay?"
"idk she was pissed, understandably and left without saying bye so yeah i'm sad. I'm a shit boyfriend"
"you're not, she's got a right to be pissed I mean she's basically not allowed to date her boyfriend"
"yeah...I'm gonna try and talk to them again"
it wad silent for a minute
"you know we could always change labels"
"what?"
"I mean yeah it would be kinda annoying for a bit but I mean we all find it annoying and if it would make our lives more enjoyable then it's worth it"
I smiled
"thanks bro"

After our meeting I spoke up and asked them if they could chill on the relationship thing.
"No. It's written in the contract"
I tried not to blow up right then and there.
"ok...here's what I have to say...if I can't be in a relationship with my girlfriend i'm not staying"
"very funny"
"not joking"
"you would choose a girlfriend over a career"
"easily"
"do you know how much money we would loose"
"yeah. it's up to you"
I sat back knowing I had cornered them. They all looked at each other.

I stood up and walked to the door after hearing knocks at the door. My face was a bit red from crying, I was just overwhelmed.
I opened the door and saw Daniel, he saw me and his smile dropped. He came in and closed the door, he turned around and I hugged him, he hugged me back, I started crying again.
"Baby"
He whispered rubbing my head. He picked me up and carried me to my room. He put me down and wiped my tears, I took a few deep breaths and calmed down. He sat me down and hugged me again.
"they changed the contract"
"they what?"
I said pulling back and looking at him confused.
"we told them that we'd leave if they didn't change it so and they didn't want to deal with that"
I smiled
"so it's okay now?"
"perfectly okay"
I hugged him.
"I love you"
"I love you more"
