It was now a few weeks later, Zach and I have been really happy. He's the nicest person I've ever met, it's also amazing to finally be in a healthy relationship. I was still in a bit of pain and I was bruised up quite bad but atleast it means i'm healing.
I've finally been able to sleep at night, partially because my body hurts a bit less but also because I know i'm safe with Zach. I was sitting outside in the backyard on my phone when the guys came out, they had just come home from their band shenanigans. Zach smiled over at me.
"hey"
"hi"
he said and kissed me sweetly, he sat next to me and put his hand on my leg as we all chatted.
"how you feeling?"
"it still hurts a bit but it's getting better"
he nodded, I leaned my head against his shoulder and took his hand. We ordered Pizza and some of the guys turned on the hot tub.
"you wanna go in the hot tub?"
"not really, but you go if you do"
"you sure?"
"yes"
he pecked my lips before jogging upstairs to his room. He came back just in his swimming trunks and went into the hot tub. I just looked around at the vue listening to soft music that was playing for a while.
The doorbell rang, I stood up and went to the door. I brought the food back and they got out and sat around the table. I wasn't very hungry so I only ate one slice. Zach looked at me when he noticed this.
"you're not gonna have more?"
"no i'm feeling a bit sick"
"you good?"
"yeah"
I reassured him placing my hand around his arm, he kissed my cheek and continued eating. I went in quickly to take my meds, I coughed a few times and felt a bit dizzy, I tried to take a deep breath. I heard the sliding door open and footsteps coming over.
"y/n, babe what's wrong?"
I heard Zach say but it was a bit muffled, when he saw I couldn't answer he put his hand on my back.
"hey can you hear me?"
I nodded and grabbed his hand.
"just a bit dizzy"
he picked me up carefully and walked up to his room, he put me down and I laid down. He sat with me and watched me until I felt normal again.
"you sure you're ok?"
"yeah I think it's just side effects from the medication"
he kissed me all over my face before getting to my lips. He put his arms around me gently and held me making me feel better.
"i'm sick of being broken"
"I know love, tell me anything I can do to make you feel better"
"just cuddle me for now"
he chuckled and kissed me, I put my hand on the back of his neck and kissed him again.
"your lips are so soft"
I whispered making him smile, we cuddled for a while before I fell asleep.
Zach p.o.v.
I watched as y/n fell asleep, I kissed her forehead softly.
"I'll protect you till the end of our days, nobody will ever break you again...I promise"
