"We have a problem" Clint landed the jet at lunch, and saw all the other jets were there too.
"I saw that, she think's Hydra found her" Nat nodded.
"Her instincts are bang on usually" Clint went and opened the back of the jet. "I think everyone got the message" he indicated to the other jets.
"I wrote back and told her to run" Bucky admitted.
"She won't" Steve shook his head.
"I can't help but hope she will listen" Bucky sighed.
The four of them walked inside and saw that the team had already assembled together in the dining room, some of them eating while waiting. Peter and Pietro were already there and suited up, ready to go.
"It might not be Shawn" Tony chewed at his lip nervously.
"But it might be" Scott spoke up. "Regardless we got to go"
"Her uncle isn't going to like having a jet in his yard" Sam shook his head.
"We got to make sure we aren't landing on the mine field" Wanda reminded the team.
"We can look at the pictures, use that as a guidance system to where its safe" Steve thought out loud.
"I've been looking at them. She stays to the right of the house" Clint was scanning through his phone.
"We should head out and help her" Peter spoke up.
"We need to gear up first, we don't know what we are facing, or even if she's wrong" Tony shook his head.
"She's rarely wrong Tony, have more faith in our protégé" Clint shook his head.
"I have faith in her, I just hope that she's wrong" Tony sighed.
"I'll stay here, and check in with Shield to see if they have an update" Bruce spoke up. "I'll also help with the pups" he was holding Anastasia, while Happy was holding Blue, Pepper was holding Edwin, and Wanda was holding her pup.
"I'm going to gear up, I think you all should do the same" Nat stood up at the same time as Bucky. He seemed anxious to get going.
"What do you mean you want me to hide?" Soren demanded as the four of you came into the house. You were headed for your bag, when your uncle Brad told him point blank he had to fly and get away.
"I mean you need to get away for a few days" your uncle Brad snapped at him.
"We have company coming" you decided not to lie. "I'm going to tell Melody, Snow and Jasper the same thing"
"Like Hell" Jasper snapped at you. "I'm not hiding, Snow needs to, but I do not. I know how to fight"
"You don't know how to fight the humans" Cloud looked at him.
"I know how to rip out a throat, that's all I need to do. She's my human too" Jasper started pacing in the living room while you changed into a pair of black jeans, black shirt and sneakers around the corner.
"This isn't easy to do, and we don't want to kill them. We maim them, and take them into custody" you spoke up.
"Speak for yourself, I'll shoot to kill" your uncle Brad looked at you as you came back around the corner.
"I need rope from you, as much as you've got" you looked at him seriously. "And no, we don't kill them unless we have to"
"We saw you are back" Melody and Snow came in the front door that neither of you had bothered closing. "We chased some deer, it was so much fun"
"You need to leave" Cloud looked at her.
"What's going on?" Snow demanded.
"Hydra found us" Jasper looked to her. "I need you to run back into the woods, and hide to make sure the pups are safe"
"Take Soren with you" your uncle spoke up.
"I'm fighting" Melody growled.
"You're stubborn" Cloud growled back.
"I've been training for this, you can't stop me" she looked to you, and you sighed.
"You haven't trained enough Melody. I would rather you went to help keep Soren and Snow safely" you looked at her.
"I'll protect Soren, let Melody stay. She's a good fighter" Snow spoke up. "I know just the place to hide where we can keep an eye on you and know when its safe to come back"
"I can't fly that far" Soren spoke softly.
"I can make it so she can carry you most of the way" you decided. "Put this to good use" you pulled out the service dog outfit. Snow came over and you started to put it on her.
"This is uncomfortable" she complained.
"Its temporary" you promised. "As soon as its safe, I'll call to you". You looked to Soren who jumps down onto Snow's back, and his talons sink into the cloth at the top.
"They need to go, I can hear cars" your uncle Brad looked to you.
"Go Snow, go" you ordered and she ran out with Soren on her back. Your uncle grabbed the rifle and gave it to you before he grabbed the shot gun and started stuffing his pockets with ammo, and you did the same.
You went out to the driveway and put the band of the gun around your torso while you ran and started to climb one of the higher trees that would give you a good vantage point of the end of the driveway. You saw your uncle had closed the front door and was up in the attic with his gun pointed out to the driveway. You looked down and saw that Jasper, Melody and Cloud had all taken to the longer grass in the safe zone and were waiting on instructions.
You didn't have to wait long until you saw three black SUV's turn into the driveway. You looked carefully through the front window and didn't recognize them, but saw a lot of gun power with them. They were speeding up the driveway, likely in hopes of catching you off guard. You aimed the gun at the front tire of the first one and fired. The car swerved and went right into the mine field setting off every single one of the mines. The SUV caught on fire, and you smirked seeing no survivors were going to make it out of that one. You saw the other two SUV's stop in the middle of the driveway, and their doors swung open and they took a defensive posture, with their guns out at the ready. You knew that they had no idea where you were, but weren't going to give up without a fight either.
"Y/N" you heard a familiar voice and it felt like your heart stopped for a moment. "We don't have to do this" you saw Shawn come out into the open, and Cloud let out a warning growl.
"Stay where you are, he's baiting us" you spoke telepathically.
"He's supposed to be on the raft" Cloud snarled.
"Something must have happened, maybe that's why they didn't want me to go home" you bit your bottom lip, and aimed the gun again.
"We will leave your little pets alone, as well as your uncle if you just come quietly. We are just going to do a few tests, and you'll be free to go" Shawn smiled looking around, trying to find you. You aimed carefully and shot at his leg, hitting your mark. He cried out and hit the ground, and you smiled to yourself finding that very satisfying. Two of his men ran ahead to grab him and drag him back to safety but your uncle shot down at them and one ended up in the grass screaming out. He had gotten him in the shoulder. You saw the man move quickly back to safety.
"You fucking bitch, you shot me" Shawn screamed out.
"That's not all I'm going to do to you" you tried to throw your voice a bit. "Are you scared now?"
"Whore" he screamed at you, and you shot out the front two tires of his car.
"Those words don't hurt anymore" you called, and you saw him looking up in the trees frantically for you, ordering his men to do the same. The men from the third SUV made their way up towards the second. You counted they had ten men in total. Your uncle shot at them as they were moving and you saw another man fall to the ground crying out and grabbing at his leg.
"You think I don't have back up coming? You have no chance of getting out of this" Shawn screamed into the trees.
"That's a chance I'll have to take" you mused to yourself. You saw one man peek out and your uncle shot the gun in his hand out and you heard a scream. You saw one of the men spot you, and you knew the gig was up. You shot at him and he cried out and pointed as the bullet hit him in the arm. You jumped down from the tree and they started shooting at you. You saw one land near you and saw it was a tranquilizer bullet. You cussed to yourself and took to the woods to make your way around them.
"I want your orders" Cloud called out.
"Just wait, we need the element of surprise. You'll know the sign" you called back to him telepathically. Your uncle continued to shoot at the men that were aiming their guns at you. You circled around them and made sure they had lost sight of you before you started coming up to them from the side. You dropped the gun and ammo and let the fire take over. Cloud knew that was the sign, and the three wolves came out of the long grass and threw themselves at the men trying to hide in behind the SUV. Your uncle continued to shoot at them as they tried to scatter. You threw yourself at the first few men, and knocked them out. They screamed shortly before as your flames licked at their skin. You saw Shawn look at you, and for the first time his fear was directed at you and you almost relished in it. For once you had the upper hand. You heard more cars coming, but didn't care. You punched Shawn and he screamed out falling back. You kept punching him until he was out like a light. You saw the wolves had taken care of the other men by going for the limbs just like they were taught. You saw a gun aimed at Cloud and your uncle shot the man in his arm and he dropped it.
"Going to need that rope" you called out.
"There's more coming, get back in the trees" your uncle called to you. You let your fire powers go and grabbed the rifle and ammo before running back into the safety of the trees. You saw Melody, Jasper, and Cloud were full of blood already. You waited for the cars to drive around the SUV's and saw the hydra agents jump out quickly to check on their fallen comrades, and you started firing at limbs again. You missed a few times, but knew you were getting pretty damn good with the rifle. They started to open fire into the trees. Your uncle started to fire at the engines of the SUV's to try to blow them up. You jumped out of the trees again once you were out of ammo and let the fire take over again. You went with hand to hand combat, and felt a few blades and bullets brush against your skin as you took on ten more men. Cloud, Jasper, and Melody were soon beside you. You heard a loud whirling sound and more cars coming and swore to yourself, thinking they had brought a jet as well. You didn't care, you weren't giving up without a fight. Your uncle came out the front door and continued firing at the engines, and at the new oncoming cars. You knew he figured this was his last stand. You didn't want him hurt. You fought harder, and growled as you knocked each person you came against out as quickly as you could.
"You couldn't have just run, could you?" you heard a familiar voice as the jet landed, and turned your head momentarily to see the entire team coming out of the jet, with Bucky at the front running towards you. You gave a relieved smile, and your uncle swung the gun at them momentarily and realized who it was and put the gun down. You saw Pietro and Peter go and start handcuffing the men that were already down, and some of the ones that were starting to come around. Tony, Sam, Wanda, and Vision took to the skies and saw the rest of the convoy coming and started attacking. Nat, Clint, Scott, Bucky, and Steve came and fought by your side as you continued going through the rest of the agents with the wolves. Melody and Jasper seemed to find the same dance that you and Cloud always did when you were fighting, and stuck to your side as you went through the agents like butter. You turned when you were done and saw that the others were handcuffing those that you had left behind, or the ones that had finished with themselves. You heard a few explosions down on the road, and stilled for a moment while the others ran past you and went towards the road.
"Stay here" Steve warned you, and you nodded, knowing that was your orders. You ran back towards your uncle and looked him over.
"So that's your team" he smiled at you.
"That's my extended family" you grinned. "I need a refill, just in case" you led him into the house and started grabbing more bullets, and saw he was doing the same thing.
"You're getting to be a better shot than I thought you would by the time you left" he commented.
"I learned from one of the best. My shoulder is killing me" you admitted.
"Work on the way you hold it, I keep telling ya" he smirked at you. "I'll go take the attic again. Go back into the trees. If anyone gets by, we can snipe them out"
"Pack, back into hiding" you called to them closing the front door, and you climbed back into the trees again. You looked down to the handcuffed agents and saw Shawn was coming around. He started screaming profanities at you, looking at you up in the trees, and you just aimed the rifle at him.
"Go ahead, shoot me again you bitch" he screamed at you.
"I told you I would get you" you grinned. "You should never had accepted me as your mission"
"You were easy" he spat at you.
"I was naïve" you shrugged. "I didn't make that mistake again"
It was an hour before you heard the rest of the team making their way back. You saw Pietro zooming by carrying an agent at a time, and throwing them into the containment cell in the jet. He went by multiple times. The rest of the team came carrying an agent each as well, with the exception of Wanda, she had three floating in front of her that looked to be knocked out. Shawn was still screaming profanities at you, and Bucky stopped and dropped the person he was holding, and he punched Shawn knocking him back out. He then picked back up the agent he had been holding, and picked up Shawn at the same time and carried him into the jet. You shimmied your way down from the tree as they finished getting the rest that had been knocked out in the driveway. Your uncle came back outside still holding his shot gun, and you still held the rifle. Clint made his way over to you quickly and hugged you, and you smiled hugging him back. You heard the pack come out of hiding and give small whines waiting for attention.
"I'm so proud of how brave you were kid" Clint pulled back after a moment.
"You can't keep her to yourself" Tony came over and held you for a moment before stepping back.
"Look who's learned how to use a gun" Nat came over with a smirk and held you tightly. Wanda wasn't far behind her, and they both held you at the same time.
"Uncle Brad insisted I learned how to use one" you flushed in their arms.
"You know that means I'm going to be training you on guns now" Clint spoke up.
"We are taking Shawn right to the raft from here, we didn't want to worry you" Steve came over and slung his arms around your shoulders.
"I should have known something was up when you all kept telling me to stay" you sighed.
"We just wanted you safe" Scott admitted.
"We were so worried about you Princessa" Pietro came over and gave you a kiss on the cheek, quickly followed by Peter.
"Blue's been doing good, he misses you" Sam came over to hug you.
"Alright you guys, let me see my girl" Bucky pushed past everyone and pulled you into a hug, putting his forehead against yours. He slowly dipped his head down and kissed you softly on the lips and you leaned into him regardless of the pain you were in. You needed this moment with him.
"I see what you mean by family now" your uncle Brad suddenly spoke up. "I'll still shoot your boyfriend if he ever hurts you" he warned, and you pulled back from the kiss with Bucky to smile at your uncle.
"Uncle Brad, this is the team I told you all about" you smiled.
"Two sisters, two dads, two little brothers, an older brother, a boyfriend, and several close friends. I know all your names" he nodded his head to them. "Any chance you can get this cleaned up?" he gestured to all the damaged cars etc.
"We will be sending Shield in to do the clean up. They have bigger jets and a few tow trucks to take care of what they can't carry. It all needs to be processed" Tony smiled at him. "I'm Tony"
"One of the dad's, I know" your uncle nodded. "Songbird talked a lot about all of you. She's still staying until Sunday" he informed them. "We haven't finished our training, or catching up". Bucky let out an audible groan and held you closer. "Loverboy can stay on the couch" your uncle thought about it for a few minutes before saying it softly.
"I'm going to use the satellite phone and call Shield in to give them the co-ordinates so they can clean this up right away" Nat decided.
"Thank you" Bucky nodded to your uncle.
"I'll take care of Blue" Clint whispered to you.
"No, you are going to see your family, we will take care of Blue" Pietro spoke up.
"Yeah, you guys hog him all the time" Peter nodded.
"I'd better call Snow back" you pulled back from Bucky and whistled loudly. You heard a response howl and waited a few minutes while Bucky pulled you back into another embrace.
"I'm going to grab your extra clothes that you leave on the jet, jerk. You'll need them. Make sure your home by Sunday night" Steve ruffled your hair and grinned at Bucky.
"We do miss you" Wanda whispered to you.
"We all do" Vision nodded. "Its not the same at home without you now"
"Brad, it was good to meet you. Maybe come visit us at the compound sometime" Tony reached out to shake your uncle's hand while Steve came back with a bag of black clothes for Bucky. "We are taking these prisoners for processing. Are there any more minefields to worry about?" he looked at the SUV in the completely blown-up minefield.
"Nope, they ruined the only one I've made so far" your uncle rubbed the back of his neck.
Sam was bent down and holding Melody close, giving her scratches behind the ears, while Scott was doing the same thing to Jasper. You saw Wanda was just holding Cloud close to her, and giving him kisses on top of the head. Snow came bounding through the river and ran to you and you leaned down to scratch her behind the ears and give her kisses.
"My good girl, you protected Soren" you cooed to her.
"She kept an eye on the battle, as did I. You did well" Soren flew up to your uncle's shoulder and he stood still waiting for him.
"We will see you on Sunday" Tony came and gave you another hug, as did the rest of the team. Sam and Steve clapped Bucky on the shoulder before heading back to the jet.
"I'll make sure he's on the raft this time" Clint whispered to you and kissed your forehead.
