The Next Element

Blizzard's POV:

"Inhale..." I took a deep breath.

"Exhale... Ahhhh" I then let it all out as I stretched my body and muscles, I couldn't help myself but groan for how this is making me feel good.

"Avire's" idea was just what I needed, bless her for telling me this.

I didn't know I was this stressed, guess being a hot lifeguard isn't that easy... But hey! At least it's fun! Girls gawking at me like I was some sort of an Adonis male...

Boys doing the same, drooling over my pecs HA! But deep in my heart... Only lian gets to take all of this!

Looking into my mirror, I flexed my biceps and kissed them.

"Damn I'm ripped!" I chuckled as I kept on flexing.

After admiring myself for a couple of minutes I heard fast footsteps coming outside of our locker rooms.

"Blizzard! Blizzard! Help us! Where are you?!" My ears twitched as I heard someone crying for help.

I immediately rushed outside looking for who was begging for my help when a young lady bumped into my chest.

She almost got knocked over but fortunately she quickly got up and rubbed her head.

When she tilted her head now facing to me, she smiled widely and grabbed my wrist before dragging me back to the beach coast.

"Hey hey lady what's with all the rushing? Can't you calm down for a bit!" I asked her but she kept on running.

"I can't!"

Finally we both arrived back at the coast, she pointed her fingers right at what seems to be a woman heading towards the "Klista Island's Skull Cave"

"You have to stop her!"

I took back my hand from her.

"Say no more!" With that, I quickly jumped into the water and activated my ice abilities to propel myself to catch the girl.

Didn't they read the sign that it's forbidden to even go near that cave?! Why do you have to make my job so miserable?!

I swam quickly and before she even got a chance to enter the cave, I decided to appear in front of her.

"Stop right there miss gorgeous!" I winked at her as I blocked her path.

She gasped at me.

"Mr. Blizzard?!" I chuckled on how she called me.

"Enough with the formalities, you can simply just call me blizzard, now what in the heck are you doing wandering around at this area of the ocean?"

"Uhm... Well I just want to investigate what's inside the cave, I'm just really curious"

She explained to me.

"Haha! Well you know what they say! Curiosity killed the cat! I know that's not a best example but you get the idea, now let's get out of here, hop on my back and we'll head back to the shore"

I simply said as I leaned in towards her so she can get on my back

"Okay!" She did on what she was told and hugged my neck tightly.

"Here we go!" With my shout, I quickly released a strong amount of ice from my feet and used it like a rocket fire and propelled myself back to the coast.

It only took us approximately 3 minutes back, she soon reunited with her friend and hugged each other.

"Another job handled perfectly!"

I thought to myself for I felt proud of myself for doing that easily.

"Don't feel too proud about yourself okay?" A hand was placed in my shoulder.

Turning around I saw "Avire" with a smirk planted to her face.

"Avire! You're finally here!" I exclaimed loudly as I gave her a hug.

"Don't hug me that much! Sometimes I'm starting to think you don't realize of how much of a big man you are!" She pushed me off of her.

"Oops sorry! I guess you're right about that"

"It's okay... Hm?" She rose one of her brow.

"Uh why are you looking at me like that?"

"Your eyes" she leaned in towards me and remained eye contact.

"Yesss... What about them"

She didn't respond but only took my hand and began to trace lines over my palm.

Is she using her powers on me?

Avire closed her eyes for a second.

"Ah!" She screamed as her eyes lit up again.

"What? Did you see something?!" I asked her.

Avire kinda looks troubled.

"I think I saw something but it's too blurry... Hold on, I'm just going to do something" she rushed off leaving my question unanswered.

"Typical avire" I crossed both of my arms and took a look at the horizon...

While I was admiring the view, I noticed something at the corner of my eye.

I think I saw another young lady making her way towards the cave.

I growled in annoyance, I'm starting to have the idea of freezing that cave permanently.

Without hesitating I jumped back in the water and propelled myself, next thing I knew I finally catched up to the lady.

I called and warned her to stop swimming towards it but she wouldn't listen.

What the? Is this woman deaf?

"Hey lady" I placed an arm on her shoulder, when she turned around my eyes widened.

Her eyes had different color and she was wearing glasses.. Or so I thought she was a she.

"Blizzard?" She called me.

"L-lian?" I soon realized that this woman is lian!

"Gah!" He screamed as he was dragged in the bottom of the ocean.

I tried to follow and catch him but when I swam down there were no sights of him...

"What was that?"
