The Next Element

3rd Person's POV:

Lian saw an ominous pulse of energy emitting from the skull he spotted in the ocean.

Something is gesturing him to come closer and to also find out on what that skull's hiding.

Before he propelled himself to the air with one high jump, a hand landed on his shoulder.

Turning his head slightly to his right, he saw max.

Max: What's the matter lian? Wanna go for a swim?

He asked jokingly to lighten up the mood, unfortunately this did not amuse lian in any way making it awkward for the beastman.

Max cleared his throat to forget that embarrassing situation and asked once again in a serious manner.

Max: Is there a problem lian? You seem quiet all of a sudden.

Lian: Quiet? What do you mean?

Max's statement got lian's curiosity.

Max: Well you were kinda in a good mood lately, now you're suddenly emotionless, did something change your mood?

Lian: It's nothing...

He sighed deeply before continuing his sentence.

Lian: I saw where the realm gate may be located, follow me once this ridiculous display of love is over.

He said not in a shouting tone or an angered tone of voice, rather hateful yet calm.

Lian jumped immediately away from where he was standing and made his way towards the skull gathering the attention of some of the people who were currently swimming in the ocean.

Max: Display of love? What does he mean by that.

He turned around and saw blizzard still being flooded with affections by his friend avire.

Avire was currently hugging blizzard from behind, as for the beastman, he did his best in getting away from the woman, unfortunately all attempts went to nothing.

Eventually, shadow had decided to give a hand to Blizzard.

Max: Is lian referring to that woman? If he is... Is he jealous of her?

This thought was shrugged off as max saw the suffocating situation of blizzard who was now free from the grasp of avire.

Blizzard: Thank goodness I'm free... That woman is weirdly affectionate when it comes to hugging me... Hey where's lian?

Max: He went to that skull looking cave over there.

Blizzard: What?! That place is off limits to tourists!

Shadow: Do you think lian is an ordinary tourist here?

Max: We should catch up with him, also I think you may have done something to make him mad blizzard.

Blizzard: Huh? Me? Why?

Max: Don't know... But whatever it is, you gotta figure it out otherwise lian won't cooperate well.

Shadow: Hm.. I think I know the reason.

Shadow implied but didn't bother to tell them, leaving blizzard confused and nervous at the same time.

Shadow and max followed after lian.

Blizzard: Hey guys wait! What do you mean by that! Shadow tell me!

Blizzard shouted as he propelled himself upwards using his ice abilities.
