The Next Element

Lian's POV:

"But... My dear goddess... Our realm will only go to ruins without anelia protecting it!"

I heard a voice coming from behind me, I couldn't open my eyes for some reason, trying to move my hands or feet, I realized that I was sort of paralyzed...

What is this feeling... Who's that talking behind me?

"Hereward, please do not lose faith in her... Anelia wants to be on earth... We have to respect that decision of hers even if it affects our world greatly"

"B-but think of our land! Our people! Our nation needs a powerful guardian to protect it! And anelia is the only one capable of doing so!"

"Master hereward?!"

My eyes quickly opened up as my bodies were set free, being able to now move them, I immediately turned around and there I saw the two people talking.

It was none other than our goddess, talking to a young man...

"Is that... Master hereward?"

He looks really really young... Hold on...

Am I in the past?... But how?"

"Just believe in the works of destiny hereward..."

"B-but-"

"One day... She will not come back, but another one with the same blood flowing through them shall hold the powerful light in eliminating our foes..."

"... My goddess..."

"Hereward... My leaving is nigh... I cannot talk with you for  too long now... I must leave..."

"My goddess! What about the platinum witch?!"

"Believe hereward... That's what all you need to do..."

The goddess' body slowly lifted up as she gracefully faded leaving hints of ethereal shimmer and sparkle.

"My goddess..."

Master hereward fell to the ground with both of his knees taking the impact.

Slowly approaching him, I placed a hand on his back... He must've not noticed me... Nor he can see me at all..

But why am I here? Why am I in one of their memories? Did our goddess sent me here for a reason?...

There must be an answer... There has to be...

3rd Person's POV:

"AH!" A loud shout was heard from lian's room.

Lian: Where am I?

The male looked around, he realized that he was only on his room, taking a rest.

Everything felt so surreal to him... His body felt relaxed and he was able to move freely now.

Lian: Why did I just saw that memory?...

Until now he questioned it to himself.

Soon, he slowly sat down first as he got on the edge of his bed, placing both of his legs and feet down on the ground, he stood up.

Lian: W-whoa!

His legs feels all wobbly, he couldn't properly walk at first, he slowly tried to stretch his body, thinking that it was all he needs to properly walk again...

When he stood straight once more, he saw his reflection on the mirror standing near his bed.

He chuckled at himself looking ridiculous.
