The Next Element

3rd Person's POV:

As the five of them continued to move forward, the pressure seems to have gotten a bit heavier.

Lian can still feel the unnerving grasp of the dead souls lingering all around them, the continuous contact his heels made with the soft ground made him feel like something was trying to strike his confidence down.

But after ignoring it for a long time now, the bizarre feeling started to fade away, the flaming bravery shielding all of their hearts strengthen as their abilities began to burst a powerful surge, together as a team their bonds with each other tightened even more.

Lian: This is it!... I can feel a strong presence just in front of us... That must be him.

Proceeding on running forward, they were met with a whole large area, as all of them stepped one more to what appears to be a glowing platform, the path in which they took slowly dissipated.

Blizzard: Is this a trap?

Zeus: Probably...

Shadow: Be cautious and don't lower your guard no matter what happens or what we see...

Max: We shouldn't let anything blind us here... This pandemonium is quite professional at its trick game.

Lian: I sense an incoming presence.

Lian closed his eyes as he started to breath slowly...

Max: Huh?

As the entire sound coming on Lian's ear slowly became inaudible, a clicking sound began ticking on his mind.

It felt like a clock with its hand slowly moving as the time passes by, slowly opening his eyes once more, his surroundings began to feel more clearer.

At the last tick of the clicking sound, Lian's eyes sparked a quick lavender light as the time began to flow slow.

The movements of the whirlwinds of horrifying souls started to move slow, everything went completely frozen as well as the four beastmen's whose actions were freezed completely.

In an instant, lian immediately turned around and aimed his guns, before he could pull the trigger, he was surprised to be met by a powerful explosion of energy.

The blast caught him off guard causing him to be blown away as well as the freeze of time to be completely dispelled returning the flow of time back to normal.

The four beastmen were both confused and surprised to see lian away from them.

Max: Huh? Lian?!

They all ran towards him but was blocked when a figure appeared in front of them, seeing that it was up to no good, they immediately summoned their weapons and prepared themselves with their stance.

"I'm afraid I cannot let you have your friend back until master has finally accomplished his plan"

Max: Damn you! Get out of our way!

"Master has told me about your kind... And as a being superior to your species it is my duty to discipline you properly"

Zeus growled.

Zeus: This bastard thinks we're ordinary creatures!

Shadow: Don't let him get to you Zeus, it's his way of taunting.

"Ah... I see you have a smart fellow on your pack... Since some of you can actually understand me... Let me give you a brief introduction first"

Blizzard: Introduction? C'mon! that's a cheap approach to your enemies don't you think?

"I am Equix, Master Yme's personal servant, and as a final promise to him, I am to eliminate anyone that prevents him from his encounter with the Platinum Witch himself"
