The Next Element

3rd Person's POV:

Butterflies can be seen frolicking in to the upper sky, white trails and cutesy diamond sparkles followed them as they circled wonderfully getting the attention of young ones from below.

Sylphs are seen taking care of miniature orbs, placing them at every home to give every household a bright shine at the time of the night.

Beautiful and eye-catching garlands were displayed and hung at the huge violet trees, the violet leaves matching the atmosphere of the violet sky.

This is etherealia, also known as "Utopia for the Greater Power" in which lives beings with unmatchable power, and holds immense power used for good and peace.

At the very center of this utopia, a beam was shot followed by trails of violet sparkle.

Lian finally arrived among with rune, totem, and the four unconscious beastmen and the young child.

Lian looked at the child who held tightly on to his garment refusing to let go.

Lian: Rune, totem, take max and the others to the infirmary, tell them they are urgent patients and must be taken care of immediately.

Lian ordered at the two, soon the two beastmen left, leaving him and the child alone.

Lian: What am I going to do with you little one... You're certainly not an addition I was expecting.

He sighed knowing there's nothing he could do about him for now.

Lian: Well then, better leave you off with the caretakers, they surely can take care of you better than I can.

Lian went straight to the day-care and ordered their workers to take good care of the child.

Otherwise they'll be sacrificed if things go unplanned.

Max's POV:

"Urgghhhmfff.... What the... Where am I?"

Was the first thing that came to my mind the moment I opened my eyes.

Looking right next to me, I saw three beds, shadow, blizzard, and zeus still asleep.

That's good I guess... That'll let them regain their energy, but where in the world are we?

This area doesn't look... Earthly?

I heard Blizzard groaning as he too woke up after that ridiculously strong blast, shadow and zeus following after.

"GAH! I DONT WANNA DIE EARLY!" Blizzard screamed dramatically making me cover my ears.

"Aargh! Blizzard will you stop being so dramatic? Jeez!" Zeus scolded him.

"Huh? Wait... Where are we... No! Are we in the afterlife?!" Blizzard panicked again.

"I don't think this is the afterlife.." Shadow replied.

"Then where are we?"

I got off the bed, my legs feeling a bit cramped but I managed to walk to the window.

Opening the curtains I was surprised by.... Flying fairies and butterflies?

Blizzard: Whoa.... What the heck are those?! They look so cute.

Shadow: Those look like sylphs..

Zeus: Hey.. Where's caylen?

Blizzard: I don't know.. Weren't you the one that protected him?
