Chapter 12 - Knight in a Glamorous Attire

Blizzard covered himself to avoid the dust, while max returned back to the group.

Max: Is everyone alright?

Zeus: We're fine max, but we have to return caylen back home, it's not safe for him to be here.

Max frowned as he saw the young boy whimpering and hugging zeus tightly.

Max: Let's go.

They all ran in a fast pace trying to leave fursenburg when the uni beast finally managed to get up on it's feet and jumped back in front of them blocking them from escaping.

Blizzard: Uh oh... This ain't good.

In a Swift and fast movement, the uni-beast swung it's hand open trying to grab max.

Blizzard: Max watch out!

Blizzard pushed max out of the way making the beast take him instead of max.

Max: Blizzard!

The uni-beast threw blizzard aggressively on the ground making the said male unconscious.

Blizzard: Urrrghhhnn...

Max rushed to blizzard only to be flung away by the uni-beast, shadow and zeus used their powers to contain the beast but all of their projectiles and attacks were deflected.

The uni beast charged it's weapon releasing a powerful Nova blast that knocked all of them completely.

With the child being the only one left, the uni beast slowly made it's way towards the kid to take him back once more.

Caylen cried for help to zeus, he tried waking him up, he tried waking them all up but everyone was blasted by the explosion completely draining their energy.

With only one last step from the uni beast, it reached the young boy with it's huge hand.

Before completely caging the young child completely, it's movement began slowing down.

The waves of the wind began slowing down, the smokes coming from the buildings, the ashes, the dusts, all of them began to slow down.

The flow of time... Slowed down.

???: Rune now!

Suddenly two beastmen fell down from the sky, with both of their swords equipped, they stabbed their blades deeply from behind the uni-beast causing a huge amount of blue liquid to squirt out.

The time went back to normal.

Rune: Totem get the child and the other beastmen.

Totem: Copy that.

Totem ran with four feet as he took the child away from the battle area along with the four beastmen.

Rune landed in front of the knocked down beast, it's blood continued on flowing out.

He kept a look on the uni-beast making sure it doesn't stand up again.

Suddenly a figure appeared above them, rune easily recognizing whom it was.

The person landed safely infront of rune, rune saluting in his presence.

Rune: Master, the beastmen has been secured and protected.

???: Good job rune.

Rune: Thank you master.

???: Hm?

The "master" noticed the uni-beast, it's wounds were slowly being cured until they fully faded away.

???: New type of a beast huh? Well we can't be having that now...

He snapped his fingers making a demonic portal appear, inside the portal was shrieks of agony.

???: time for dinner boys.

He winked with a smirk, a demonic entity appeared behind the uni-beast as it took a huge bite from it's neck.

The entity feasted on the beast to the last bite before going back to it's realm leaving not even a single chunk of it behind.

Once it was done, the portal then closed back.

???: Now that that's out of the way, let's go greet some friends shall we?

Rune followed behind his master as he made his way to totem who was checking the pulses of the other beastmen.

Totem: Pulses still in check master.

???: Good... I can't afford another funeral if these four are already dead... Hmm who's that?

Totem: It's a child, master... I think he was with them.

???: I don't recognize this child anywhere.

Rune: What should we do with him?

???: Let's take him back with us, along with these four beastmen.

He snapped his fingers.

???: let's go you two.

Rune: Of course Master "Lian".

Totem: Yes Master "Lian".

The two beastmen carried the other four.

With shadow and zeus carried by rune, blizzard and max carried by totem.

Their master took care of the child who must've fainted from earlier.

They soon left fursenburg and returned back to their homeworld.
