Chapter 20 - Ruler of Demons, Rzoiyou

Lian: Playing hide and go seek again?

He activated his guns...

Lian: A wise move he had thought of, he could attack me in any angle right about any second now. Lian thought, he kept his guard up more than before.

Suddenly a serpent began to form from behind lian, lian felt the presence of rzoiyou immediately and shot his gun right at it.

The bullet striked the serpent right at it's eyes blinding it and making it crush and fall into the ground.

The serpent faded away quickly but reformed back above lian, it was now circling lian like it was some sort of fly, it was waiting an opening for it to attack him once again.

Lian: Hm, clever pet.

Lian changed his guns to gauntlets, he cracked his fingers as he waited for it to come back down.

Once lian saw the serpent coming back down to attack him, he prepared himself and charged a powerful blow, but as he was about to release his punch, the serpent disintegrated again.

Lian: Damn it! This demon is playing with me.

Lian heard the roar of the serpent from behind, that's when he swiftly turned around and smashed it's head on the ground.

He was able to pin the serpent down and continued on punching the beast until it can no longer control itself to move.

Rzoiyou was heard groaning in pain as the serpent faded into a black smoke.

Lian: All done letting me play with your toys? I guess you're not that tough of a demon like I expected you to be.

There was no response, silence surrounded the room, the absence of sound was enough for lian to even hear his own heartbeat.

It went on like that for a minute until suddenly, lian's smirk dropped.

Lian: This is bad... I can't sense him anymore.

Lian looked from behind him, above him, below, left or right, there was no signs of rzoiyou.

Rzoiyou: I had enough with you! 

A huge masculine demon appeared from behind lian, unbeknownst to the male, he couldn't see nor hear the demon.

Rzoiyou summoned a huge sword and held the grip with both two hands.

Rzoiyou: It's time to end your life once more!

Rzoiyou stabbed lian with the sword, the tip almost about to hit lian, the gushing of wind sent chills down lian's spine.

In just a short second, lian quickly turned around and saw rzoiyou in his true form, the very last second that he had put his eyes on was the tip of rzoiyou's blade.

In an instant, lian's platinun chrono activated at it's own will, rzoiyou's movement began to slow down until he was frozen.

Lian grabbed the tip of rzoiyou's blade and pulled it away from him, he threw the blade as high as he could, he then jumped and reached the grip of the sword, he kicked the pommel of the blade stabbing rzoiyou's heart making it release a gush of blood.

Rzoiyou: UWARRRRRGHHH!!

Rzoiyou shouted, the power of the platinum chrono has held him no more.

The kick that lian gave to the sword was strong enough for the blade to pin rzoiyou to the wall.

Lian landed back again on the ground, his smirk returning, he slowly approached the demon with both his hands resting on his hips.

Lian: I see that you're having too much trouble there, let me help you.
