Chapter 34 - Encountering a New Situation

Max: Shhh... I'm just going to pleasure you, is that ever wrong?

Lian: Mmmhh~

Max: You like that huh?~

"What are you two doing?"

A voice came from behind the two of them.

Lian: Ah!

Max: Giyah!

Turning around they saw blizzard with his arms crossed on his chest.

Blizzard: Are you seriously dry humping lian right now?

Max: W-what?! Don't be ridiculous! Why would I do that.

Blizzard: Hm... I don't know, why don't you ask your big friend over there.

Lian saw a huge tent forming in max's crotch area.

Max: Gaa-ah!

Lian: Forgive us blizzard...

Blizzard: It's okay... Just promise me you'll let me do it to you too next.

Lian: Don't get your hopes up to high because I won't allow you.

Blizzard: Aw man!

Suddenly their vehicle was disrupted by an energy wave.

Lian saw a holographic warning pop from the operating system of the airship.

"Energy Disruption! The ship's power is slowly being depleted, landing now on the nearest wide open space, please disembark the vehicle immediately"

Lian: Huh?

Max: Looks like we stumbled upon another one.

The ship's power slowly died off the moment it made contact back on the ground.

Lian: Hmm... Quite unfortunate, but it appears that we've landed near a realm gate... Let's move on.

Max: Roger!

When they all boarded off the ship, it's lights were flickering a bright red indicating that it's power is slowly being shut off.

Knowing that it'll take a long time for it to recharge, they proceeded to investigate into what looks like a forest.

The trees were quite as tall as seen back in zeus' hometown but one detail that seemed to make the grove look unique amongst the others was it's vines crawling up above wrapping into the branches of each individual tree.

These vines were accompanied by red, white, blue, and even black flowers, of course these are all unknown to the four of them except for blizzard.

Being a good gardener has led blizzard into knowing each type of flowers one by one, except for the black parts...

Lian: Hey... These flowers look beautiful, they all look familiar to me too, except for those black ones, blizzard?

Blizzard: Huh?

Lian: Do you know what these black flowers are called?

Blizzard: Uhm... I'm not sure, their shapes and petals look odd... But it could be a black velvet petunia? Or is it a black dahlia?

Max: You're not familiar with them? I thought you took gardening classes back in alphaline high?

Blizzard: Yeah but I'm kinda getting rusty with these things, it's been a while since I last saw a flower.

Lian: Hm...

Shadow: I see something up ahead, we should go check it out.

Lian: Shadow's right, everyone, let's go.

Blizzard: Copy that boss!

The other three beastmen agreed.

Upon arriving, they realized that what they've stumbled upon was a huge cave.

Blizzard: We have to go in there?!

Zeus: I'm afraid so.

Lian noticed the map on his pocket emitting a radiant glow.

Pulling it out, the map was suddenly rewritten.

Lian: Everyone... Looks like we've put ourselves back in business.

Max: Hm?

Lian: The map indicates that there is a realm gate just at the other side of this very cave, let's head there as soon as possible.

Blizzard sighed.

Zeus: C'mon blizzard.

Shadow followed behind the two as max accompanied lian.

They all proceeded inside the cave with no hesitation.

Then again, they weren't given a chance to hesitate, their main mission still stands and that will be that.
