Chapter 65 - World of Catastrophe

Channeling my incredible speed, I could feel my body being filled with stupendous energy.

Opening my eyes, my vision has improved even more, I could see even the farthest of places.

Stancing myself, I let the full energy take me and bring me to what could be causing this madness.

In just a few seconds I began running at an incredible speed, soon being able to jump higher, I climbed the nearest of tall buildings and proceeded to continue my speed running there.

Eventually, I came to a spot where I could see a huge prism like of a body, it was currently veiled by a dark matter...

Its power seems too strong... This must be what's causing that vortex up in the sky.

"Hmm... Who could that be?"

I noticed three figures moving below that prism...

It seems they are currently in an argument... Better not step into their personal affairs.

"Wait..."

Taking an even more clear of a look, I realized who it was.

"It is them!"

Lian's POV:

"We're almost there! I can see it!" I told max as he continued to sprint faster to keep up with my speed.

Using all of his limbs to help him in catching up with me, I focused on our main goal, to secure and fix the few remaining crystals.

"You can see it? H-how? I really don't see anything" in which he replied back to me.

I must've forgotten to explain to him this new power of mine, but It can be talked about later.

Once we reached the area as to where I said it would be we were blocked by an invisible force.

"What the?!" I heard max exclaimed next to me.

"Barriers... It's blocking us" In which I said.

A few beast began to appear from portals which immediately opened.

"He's really doing everything just to slow us down don't you think lian?"

Max equipped his gauntlet.

I summoned my guns quickly too, rolling my eyes due to my annoyance to these monsters.

Although having playmates will help me discover my new powers even more...

"Hm..." I smirked.

The beasts began to surround us, trapping us and waiting for a perfect moment to make a move.

"Let's dance"

In just two of my words, the beasts teamed up and striked us all at once! Trying to pounce on me, I kicked all of those who tried to attack me and slammed them against the barrier.

That barrier must be carrying a powerful lightning for it has damaged my enemies by a lot, I could see their bodies being burnt.

They were quickly weakened.

"Hm... I quite feel bad for these monsters..." Moving my eyes to the side I saw a monster planning to attack max from behind him.

My beastman of a companion here seems to be enjoying himself for he is besting the opponent...

Although I don't see him being able to dodge that...

I watch him fight mercilessly, putting his gauntlets into good use.
