Chapter 68 - Wrath & Rage

"GUHWAAAHH!" Shouted max as he was thrown away by hneipa's strike.

Zeus: Hey! No fair! You can't just butt in!

Hneipa chuckled.

Hneipa: There are no fairs and unfairs in battle little kitty~

Zeus growled.

Hneipa was about to attack Zeus when suddenly a large icicle appeared on where he was currently standing causing him to freeze on his tracks.

Blizzard: Heh, fair or no fair you still have no rights to bail on us, now shadow!

Shadow jumped immediately as he created a spear made of pure light, the marks on his body started to glow as his eyes pulsed with a golden shine.

He threw the formed spear into the icicle causing it to explode into a million pieces.

Hneipa got thrown off on a different direction, a perfect area for blizzard and shadow to corner him down.

As gant was still dazed out by the electricity, Zeus tried to rush in towards max to check on him but was blasted by an unknown energy off.

The energy he just got hit by felt like a parasite as he was not able to stand back up.

"AAAAAAGGHHHH!" He shouted in pain as his back began to be engulfed by the deadly energy.

Keres closed his hand as the energy continued to crush zeus' insides.

"GWAAAAAAAAAAGHHHHH!" Zeus shouted loudly in pain.

Keres: This should be enough to keep that annoying pest from moving.

Max: Ze......us..... No! Gah!

Keres stomped on Max's neck as he slowly choked him.

Keres: I should've taken care of all of you when I had the chance!

Max: Yo.........you......re.....a... Co...ward!...

Keres continued to stomp on Max's neck until his face started to turn red.

Keres: Killing you as well as your precious friend over there would lessen all of my troubles...

Keres pulled out a gun out and aimed at Max's head.

Keres: Goodbye max.... Hope you have a wonderful reunion with your family....

Before he could pull the trigger, he accidentally dropped the gun as his body was restrained in doing so.

Keres: What the?!

He had just realized that his whole body was wrapped up by a glowing whip.

"You're not going to do that that easily!" His body was thrown against gant then was passed by hneipa with such strong and massive impact, it caused the two comrades of him fully knocked out.

Lian grabbed his whip tightly as he gave a deadly lash right at keres once more.

Keres tried to shield it but it was too late as the lash of the whip slammed right against his hand creating a huge gash on his arm that felt like it was being splashed entirely with lemon and seasoned with salt.

The whip's venom started to course through rather quickly in his body.

Lian: It should've been me that had ended your life back there!

Another lash of the whip right on his right arm.

Lian: You may have taken my life once!

He striked another lash.

Lian: But I will not let you hurt any of my beastmen ever again!!

With full anger, the whip's entire body began to lit in flames before he began to lash another one causing keres great and deadly pain.

"UWAAAAAAAARGGHH!"

Lian unequipped the whip as his angered expression was replaced by a calm one with his recognizable taunting smile.

Placing both hands on his hips, he slowly walked over keres who was now filled with gash wounds.

Keres: .....Da.....mn.... Not......even......at full.....power...

Lian: I gotta give it to you.... No one has ever made me lose that much anger....

Keres chuckled.

Keres: What.... Afraid to do anything?.... Do what you want to do to me....

Lian: I want nothing to do with you anymore keres....

Keres looked up and gazed upon Lian's eyes filled with slight mercy.

Max slowly got up as blizzard helped him out.

Zeus got out of that mysterious energy's hold and was able to get back up as well.

All four beastmen watched as lian spoke with keres.

Max: Damn you.... Keres...

Blizzard: Relax max.... Lian's got it.

Lian: Although come to think of it, I'm sure my pets would love you as their new chew toy.

Keres: H-huh?

Lian: MIALPRAHGD EHFIPYELIA!

A huge portal formed and opened behind keres as a large behemoth came out of it, its mouth was watering as it immediately craved once its eyes met its prey.

The behemoth quickly devoured and gobbled keres down as it savoured every single drop of blood that exploded in its mouth.

Once it was satisfied with its meal, it went back down the portal as the gate was sealed again.

Lian: Well... I guess that takes care of our problem then.

Turning back, lian rushed towards max and checked to see if he was in bad shape.

Max: I'm alright lian... Just got punched really really hard but I was healed immediately.

Lian: I'm glad you're okay...

Blizzard: Umm.. guys... What do we do with the rest of their team?

Lian's eyes darted to Gant and Hneipa who was still unconscious.

Lian: Hm... If they continue to stay unconscious for a while I'm sure this pandemonium will take care of them, but if they do find a way to wrap themselves on our hair, my demonic friends will surely be delighted to play with them.

Blizzard looked shocked but nonetheless agreed with lian.

Max: Let's proceed onwards now, peace awaits our arrival.

They soon advanced forward on.
