Walking down the school halls to reach where my lesson was taking place I heard “What's wrong with you, extra?” I turned to see Katsuki leaving what I assumed was the boys changing room. Turning away I asked “Why do you care?” He scoffed and stomped over to me, forcing my head down as he pressed his hand onto the back of my head.

“Idiot.”

I looked at him and he removed his hand, attempting to shove both in his pockets but the big grenades around his wrists prevented such a move from him. I laughed slightly at how he then quickly recovered from his mistake, he spat out through gritted teeth “Shut it.”

I just smiled and looked forward, then sighing “Why the sudden care, you've basically been ignoring me for weeks?” He scoffed again.

“Don't think so highly of yourself! Why would I care about some extra like you?” I rolled my eyes before smirking and asking “Why ask what's wrong with me then?”

“I'll beat the shit out of you if you don't just answer me!” Letting out an airy laugh I decided to just say “My hero costume didn't come out the way I imagined.” He hummed before stating “That's why you've been like this for a while.” Glancing over at him I noticed he was just looking forward. “It's nothing Kat- Baku-” He interrupted me without even averting his gaze “Katsuki... And it's not, nothing, to me.” He turned his head to look at me.

Letting out a breath I stopped and he did so as well “Are you aware that I had to go to hospital?” He glanced down briefly before nodding and looking at me again “Well, I only survived because I used my quirk... My mum again called me inconsiderate...” His eyes widened “She-” He decided to shut his mouth and basically throw my body into his, so he could wrap his arms around me in a crushing hug that had an added uncomfortable accessory.

“I am so angry-”

“When aren't you?”

He released me and held me by my shoulders “Ha. Ha. I... I didn't protect you.” I raised an eyebrow before smiling and wrapping my arms around him “You don't need to fight my battles Katsuki, your care for me is already more than I could ask for!” He just started patting my head.

As soon as lots were drawn to show which teams would be going against eachother, I knew chaos would unfold.

Team A, Izuku and Ururaka against team D, Iida and Katsuki.

As Izuku and Ururaka waited for team D to be ready you could hear them conversing. It was mainly just Ururaka talking but Izuku would answer her.

“So, how are you and Midoriya related?” On the screen you could see Izuku snap his head around to look at Ururaka “Oh, um, we're siblings... She just dyed her hair recently, so I suppose it's not that obvious.” Ururaka nodded slightly before asking “Is she okay? I only ask because she ripped her hero costume in half whilst we were all getting ready.”

“She did? What did it look like?” Ururaka just shrugged “I don't know, none of us really got to see it, but it was green like yours.” Izuku nodded slowly before mumbling “It must not have been what she submitted, but what was it?” Ururaka just looked at him awkwardly until the bell sounded for the heroes to go inside.

Ururaka and Iida joined us in the viewing room after their battle trial and All Might turned to me “Young Midoriya, I'd understand if you want to step away from today's lesson and be with your brother.” I shook my head.

“I'll stay.”

It came to Midoriya's battle trial against Ashido and Aoyama with Koda. Neither of them spoke, Koda too shy and Midoriya nonchalant. Aoyama and Ashido came into the room casually, Ashido sliding on her acid. With a flick of Midoriya's hand Aoyama's cape went up and over his head. Aoyama began to fight with it and Ashido jumped in to help. As they were preoccupied Midoriya took off with the bomb, jumping out of the building.

All three students rushed to the window she exited out of to not see her on the floor. Ashido turning to Koda and practically screaming “Where did she go?” Koda was shaking as he meekly said “I don't know.” Ashido quickly grabbed Aoyama's arm and rushed away, going further up the building.

They reached the roof where Midoriya was sat above with the bomb. She waved down at them and Ashido stomped her foot, yelling “How are we supposed to get her up there?”

Aoyama bent backwards and yelled “I can shoot her with my navel laser!” Ashido then yelling at him. “Are you stupid? If you shoot the bomb it's going to go kaboom!” Aoyama stood up straight and turned to Ashido with either an expression of fake offence or one of real offence “What do you propose then?”

That's when Ashido started to climb Aoyama, him yelling about a body part she touched or a part of his hero costume. Once on his shoulders Ashido fell off when attempting to reach for Midoriya. She was quick to recover but then started just throwing acid around until it had formed a circle around them on the ground. As a last ditch effort she threw their capture tape, which worked in her favour because as the floor underneath them fell Midoriya used her quirk to have the tape unravel and trap the two students that played hero before having the end stuck to the edge of the hole Ashido had made, leaving the two to hang in the air.

The school day had drawn to an end and I was making my way out of the building when someone spoke out “Can I talk to you for a minute kid?” I glanced over to see Aizawa leaned up against the school wall close to the door. He gave a slight nod and I stepped closer.

“You've got a good defence.” I nodded before bowing my head “Thank you sir.” He hummed and pushed off the wall to stand straight. He looked down at me and said “But a good defence can only get you so far. Obviously, it's best to play to your strengths, and villains will also grow agitated and tired but probably not as fast as your classmates who had no intentions to hurt you. They also didn't have reason to run like a villain would, so you would have just let them go.” I nodded slowly.

“I know... But if I become injured that puts me at even more of a disadvantage-” I went to explain about how being shot even affected much simpler tasks in comparison to fighting but he nodded “Yes, that's why you learn to dodge. Putting defence and offence together, otherwise you'll only ever be saving yourself.”
