IZUKUs P.O.V

Sitting beside Y/n's hospital bed I began to talk, looking down at my hands "I don't know if you can hear me, but I want you to know, I'm sorry... I never knew but I should have noticed, you should have been able to talk to me-" I heard a groggy voice "There it is... The woe is me." I looked to Y/n to see her not even looking at me. She glanced over at me and clicked her tongue "You can't apologise, you stand by idly even now you have a quirk... You just watched, and you have a strength quirk!"

She looked around and hummed "It's just you?"

"Yeah... Mum didn't think you'd want her here... You should really apologize to mum-" She scoffed.

"What, for having a quirk? For being alive? For not being you?" She had now turned her head to look at me "Y/n, mum would never mean to hurt you." She hummed.

"So my feelings aren't valid? Sorry, I forgot, everything is fine unless it affects sweet little Izuku Midoriya! Everything is just dandy! I'm just fine! I don't actually need to be here-" She attempted to move on the bed but only managed to move over to her side as she brought her arm against her stomach and screamed into her pillow. She shifted again to be sat up with her legs hanging off the bed. A cast on her left foot.

Tears rolled down her face "See, I'm fine. So you can go."

Not wanting to upset her anymore I got up and walked out of the room, meeting the Bakugo family in the hall. Bakugo's father smiled "Have you just been to visit Y/n?" I nodded and he continued to ask "How is she?" I shrugged.

"She didn't really want to talk to me." Bakugo's mother offered a small smile but it didn't reach her eyes. Bakugo clicked his tongue "Can we just go see the idiot and get this over with?" Bakugo's mother smacked him around the back of the head. Bakugo's father waved to me before he followed behind the other two Bakugo's.

Reaching home I called out "Mum, I'm home." Walking further into our home I continued "Y/n woke up whilst I was there, you should have come with me."

"Izuku, she will hardly talk to me, I doubt she'd want me there." I let out a breath "Mum, she shouldn't have to talk to you. You should have been there. She thinks you don't care!" She just looked to me.

"Someone needs to look after this place, and I have to be here to look after you. She's not my only child, she should know that." I looked down "Mum, she's in hospital... She could have died!"

"Exactly, she could have. She's still alive, and you could have died as well. You were both there." I looked right at her and almost yelled "But she got hurt! Is this really how you've treated her all these years?" She stopped laying out the table "What do you mean Izuku? She's always been fine. She had everything she wanted, not like you."

"Mum, she's said-" She cut me off "She never once cried or asked for anything, how was I supposed to know?"

Y/Ns P.O.V

Mitsuki, Masaru, and Katsuki were around my bed. Mitsuki was helping me get laid back down. She brushed the hair out of my face "Oh darling, you shouldn't let them get to you." Letting out a breath, I hummed "I know... It's just so frustrating. Izuku wants to play happy families and she just wants her little boy to be happy. Even now that he has a quirk, she hasn't changed."

Mitsuki asked "Would you want her too? She's treated you this way for at least ten years, whilst she provided your essentials, a child requires emotional support as well. She emotionally neglected you Y/n, nothing will ever take that away." I shrugged slightly.

"It'd be nice if she just acknowledged how she'd treated me, at least try make up for it... Yeah, I might feel worst recieving treatment she could have given me all along, but she's my mum... That's meant to mean something." Masaru nodded.

"Of course, but we aren't tied to our families. You have us and that friend of yours. What was her name? Hanako?" I smiled and nodded. Mitsuki then asked "Does she knows you're here?" I shook my head.

"No, I actually need to inform work. Hopefully they'll actually give me time off for this." Katsuki then chipped in for the first time "I still don't understand why you work." I rolled my eyes "If I want anything." Katsuki rolled his eyes "You heard the old man, you have us." Mitsuki slapped him around the back of his head and I laughed.

Mitsuki looked to me and smiled "He does have a point. You're at U.A. now, that's a pretty big deal. You should be focusing on that." I nodded.

"I am Suki, I promise." She ruffled up my hair "Of course you are, you little perfectionist."

Masaru piped up "How about you stay with us for a while after you're discharged? You can take as long as you need to fully recover then." Mitsuki then piped up "We can also find someone to hand your notice in if they don't allow you time off." I smiled before joking "They'll probably just fire me, my hours have gotten less and this is the second injury."

Katsuki grumbled "You didn't even get time off for the previous injury."

"How you feeling Y/nn?" I smiled towards Hanako "Bit like an idiot, that was not a battle I was ready for." She came over with the take out bag "I wouldn't be so sure, you survived. That's a pretty good sign to me!"

"They still managed to escape Han." She rolled her eyes "Pish posh, it weren't your job to begin with-" I quickly put my finger to my lips before pointing over to Aizawa's bed "He and Thirteen did their job." She looked over before looking back at me and whisper yelling "Fuck! What were you guys up against?"

"Fuck indeed!" I grinned as she looked down at me in disapproval. I laughed before patting the back of the chair next to my bed "Sit, I'll tell you all about it-"

"Over food, I know!"

As we ate I explained what I knew of the villains and aspects of the fight.

"So this humanoid bird crushed your foot, and a man covered in hands decayed under your chest?" I nodded "Yep! But I got a few hits on the handy man." She pointed her chopsticks at me "Handy man usually means something completely different!" I laughed as I nodded.
